Turkey on a Dutch crunch roll
Chelsea S.

First time here.. cute little sandwich shop! It's nice to have a deli right in our neighborhood. I ordered turkey on a Dutch crunch with mayo, lettuce, pickles, provolone, red onion and Pepperoncini and of course salt and pepper. It was a pretty good sandwich, really hefty. Good ratio between bread and meat. The bread wasn't too thick which is good, I feel like some places you get a sandwich it's all bread! Really nice welcoming staff too! This will definitely be our go to sandwich spot for the summer time!

Solid sandwich from a family-owned deli! Ordered a custom sammie: BLAT on toasted rye with added provolone ($13). Yum! I found the menu in Yelp photos and called it in. It was ready super quickly. Summer's is clean and larger inside than I realized. They offer a vast array of chips, candies, and bottled/canned beverages (including some wine and beer - I love living in wine country!). They sell coffee beverages and a few ice cream flavors, as well as delicious-looking homemade cookies (may need to indulge next time). I took my food to go but they have some indoor and outdoor seating if you want to eat there. This was my first visit to Summer's and I'll definitely be back.

Hubby and I stopped in for sandwiches on our visit to the area and happy we did! Great spot a bit out of town, HUGE delicious sandwiches and so many options. Definitely a favorite for locals too.

The description doesn't do this place justice. It's a really good deal! Tasty, high-quality ingredients and reasonably sized portions in a cute residential neighborhood. We were looking for a simple sandwich place to stop after a hike. Didn't feel like paying $20 in downtown Healdsburg so took a chance. The sandwiches are made with care, and I love that they don't slather the sauces on and stuff it full of too many ingredients. They are well-balanced and around $10 each!

Best espresso and mocha ever. Sandwiches too. "The real Healdsburg"!! Owner Summer and staff are friendly and helpful and the building and grounds are well kept and peaceful. Love this place!

Chicken pesto and Corned Beef sandwiches were superb. Fresh veggie toppings and succulent savory meats. Great customer service.

Average and Expensive. The owner is rude and rude to her staff in front of customers. It was amazing when Dallas and Lara owned it.

Quail and Condor was one of our favorite spots when visiting Healdsburg for the first time…read more One of the first distinctive notes we found with Quail and Condor was that it was located in a pretty big warehouse-like structure. There are tall ceilings and a good number of tables/seats indoor and some smaller tables outside. On a Saturday late morning while we were there, we did notice that there was pretty constantly a line. However, it is pretty fast moving and took us about 10 minutes to get through ourselves. You'll start by seeing some merchandise and online orders before getting to the baked goods, drinks/cakes, and the cashier. The staff was super friendly and helpful in answering our questions and offering suggestions. Once you order, you get a number if you're eating in and can grab cutlery, water cups/water, and look for a seat. There is also a good restroom that was clean. We sat on one of the bigger tables/benches and our order came in about 7 minutes. Here's what we ordered: +Veggie quiche: One of the best items we had. Loved the flaky pie crust and how big it was. The quiche was delicious and came with a small side salad. +Ham and cheese croissant: A good croissant. Loved the everything bagel-like seasoning on top. I think this being warmed up would go the extra mile. +/-Ricotta and jam toast: The toast was good here. But the ricotta/jam were a little bland. Would have benefitted from a little more of a bold flavor to help give it a distinctive taste. -Iced matcha latte: We also ordered the iced matcha latte. They didn't have almond milk so opted for oat milk. Unfortunately this was the weakest item we had personally. The oat milk was a bit too strong and combined with the matcha used, it left with a bit of a strange aftertaste. Parking wasn't too hard as it was in a pretty big parking lot. Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would come back!

Indoor and outdoor seating, we fell in line to get some coffee and breakfast to soak up the leftover wine and other alcohol in our systems. I got a plain black coffee, the egg and cheese bagel with "sausage," and my friend got a biscuit sandwich. It was a busy kitchen, and a busy interior. The layout seemed like I could walk right into the kitchen, so wasn't sure which part was for employees or which was for customers. LOL Just wow. I got the bagel sandwich with a jalapeno bagel. Let me tell you, this bagel sandwich and the biscuit sandwich were massive. Massive. It lasted me 2 meals. What's even more impressive is if you didn't tell me the sausage was not meat... I wouldn't have known... it was so flavorful, and just enough grease to give me a little life after my hangover. Will definitely be back..

They have a rotating menu of items along with their mainstays, so depending on when you come, you can try something new. They have standard flavors like vanilla and chocolate, along with some more creative and off the wall like black sesame, I think there was a lavender, and more. I got the flight of 6 mini scoops. I can't remember my exact flavors, but the ice cream is so creamy, not crystallized- it's almost like gelato. I couldn't finish my ice cream because even as a mini it was so much (I should have shared) but it was absolutely delicious. I've been here a few times and there's always a line, but it moves really fast. The folks behind the counter hustle! It's such a cute place and such a mainstay of Healdsburg that I'll be back.

We didn't get the pie since the ice cream was plenty enough.

That's probably the highest compliment I can give. I ordered the Wagyu sandwich, and every component knew exactly why it was there. Nothing fought for attention, yet every ingredient made the others taste better. The beef was deeply satisfying with a rich, meaty bite, while the pickled peppers were the spark that made the whole sandwich come alive. One bite somehow managed to satisfy my teeth, my tongue, my throat, and even my nose. It's rare to find a sandwich that engages all of your senses at once. Whoever built this sandwich has an exceptional understanding of flavor, texture, and restraint. Nothing felt excessive, and nothing felt missing. Then there's the bread. Too often, bread is just the thing that holds the filling together. Here, it deserves equal billing. Moist, fragrant with wheat, with beautifully toasted edges that added just enough crunch without becoming hard. By the final bite, the filling was already gone, but I still found myself slowing down because I didn't want the bread to end. When a sandwich makes you savor the last bite of bread on its own, you know someone in that kitchen truly cares.

Cookie was as big as my hand! Crispy edge, soft inside. 10/10 for that cookie. The chicken salad was really good. Large chunks of chicken, mayo, some spices -not sure what. Consistency was perfect. Loved the pumpkin seeds for a little crunch. Definitely the best chicken salad I've had in a long time. And nice on the bread. Lettuce could have been there or not, didn't add anything for me. Simple, effective. The turkey pesto was kind of basic, but the addition of the dill and the very fresh bread did do something for me. I think I'll be adding dill to my pesto sandos now? Anyway, solid sandwiches. Wouldn't say it blew me away and they are a bit small for a $20 sandwich, but here we are. Would come back for the baked goods and fresh breads.
