    Went to Rite Aid the other night for a pint of cherry chip ice cream. We usually purchase here as it is our local Rite Aid. There were two employees Margie at the register, which had great customer service and was helping a few customers at a time. They had to page this other employee a woman who gave me my "pint" I didn't notice till later on that week she kept on insisting I paid for a triple, but I always purchase the pint. I guess she insisted on a triple inside of a pint container. Nevertheless disappointed in the quality of customer service by this employee. You messed with my ice cream. (Whaaa)

    That's a Nice piece of chocolate I'd say  good thing I took a look at the cookie dough before I ordered it

    Every time I come here the Ice cream area is closed, this time there was actual icecream in the tubs on display.

    This CVS pharmacy has the worst customer service I've experienced in my life. I was in the drive…read morethru and when I reached my turn pulled up to the window around 1pm they closed the roll up window and an automated response stated they were in lunch. I went in the store not in the best mood and the whole pharmacy roll down windows are down? Anyways I spoke to the regular employees at CVS and they are all robots with a I can't help attitude. I returned to the pharmacy a hour later spoke to pharmacist gentleman and explained what happen. He is another robot with a I can't help attitude. I asked him how can I transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy. He handed a business card and said leave and take this card to another pharmacy. I had a couple of questions regarding my prescription and I need her to repeat herself because I have a hearing problem. She responded with "like I already said..." she was sarcastic demeaning and disrespectful in the whole 15 minutes I was at the window. As I drove off, purposefully not thanking her, she made sure to say loudly on her microphone, "You're welcome." That was it I parked and walked into the store and asked to speak with the pharmacist on duty and explained everything to her. I'm disgusted by the way I was treat by this CVS Employee. I highly suggest they take her away from the customer service window and make her work in the dark backroom where she cant interact with anyone.

    I visited this CVS at approximately 5:50 PM to pick up a package that had been delivered to your…read morelocation. Unfortunately, the customer service I received was disappointing. The employee assisting customers was on the phone and appeared annoyed when I asked for help. Her attitude came across as rude and unprofessional, making what should have been a simple package pickup an unpleasant experience. Customers deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of how busy the store may be. I hope management addresses this issue and reminds staff of the importance of providing professional customer service.

I said that's strange I have never kept this rx in the fridge. The pharmacist Melissa who is also the manager said oh there is a shortage so your doctor substituted this. I was like ok. The co pay was $120.... I took the first dose and noticed immediately I felt off. This was on Friday. By Sunday I was a mess. Brain fog and agitation. I discontinue use and felt better. I started to do research and found that the substitute is actually a completely different medication and is 3x the strength of what I was taking. In addition to having other medications in this dose. I contacted the pharmacy. Melissa would not take my call and I was basically told that's what it is and I can't bring it back. I might as welll flushed $120 down the toilet. I have gone to this pharmacy for years and am so disappointed. When I was on the phone asking why no one told me it was different and 3x the strength. Melissa yelled from the backround I told her it was a substitute .... again she never said it's 3 times stronger! Btw I got the medication I needed for 3 months from a private pharmacy for $13. I asked the pharmacy for the regional managers number and they refused to give it to me. I will be reporting them to the pharmacy board. They should have just refunded me what I paid. This is so wrong and unacceptable and the way I was talked to was inexcusable. Hopefully someone from corporate sees this and gets back to me.

    We've been to this pharmacy 3 times now. It's the closest location for us to get our toddler his…read morecovid vaccine since not every Rite Aid has these shots for toddlers. Anyway, generally there were no hiccups but the wait is always long even though we always made an appointment online. I would say that we would regularly wait around 20-30 minutes before we actually got called in for the shot. Also, the staff isn't rude but they also aren't very polite. If anything they are more on the less polite side if anything. Even though we submit everything online for our appointment, we're always questioned about the same information, such as "Did you make an appointment online?" "Is this the first shot?" etc, etc., I mean, all of this information is given when you make the appointment online, so if they took the time to just look, they wouldn't have to ask these questions in some accusatory manner, like we didn't do something right. Anyway, for that, I'm giving it lower stars. Also, parking in their parking lot can be challenging since many spots are for specific stores so be careful to look carefully when parking.

    I needed to use the restroom, but the employee said it was closed, not that it was not working, but…read moreclosed; in other words, tough luck was his position. This is the kind of respect some employees have. The additional Rite Aid near Ralphs Market was very kind and let me use theirs.

    Just WOW in how horrible the customer service is here. I went to do a simple exchange as my doctor…read morerecommended I purchase an item for a surgery I recently went through that I did not end up needing to use. I couldn't find my receipt or remember if it was a paper or e-Mail receipt, so the cashier advised me she would be unable to allow me to return it without that and recommended I call the corporate line as perhaps they can help me obtain this receipt. I walk out of the store very annoyed and begin to research trying to find the receipt but have no luck. So I also look up the return policy for CVS on their corporate website which states that any item can be returned without a receipt for store credit which I'm okay with so I go in to approach the cashier with this information that I found. She then says that this is not what she knows but can get a "manager" for me regarding this. She then sends me over to a younger lady with dark hair and glasses and when I show her the policy on the corporate website, she said this policy is "at the manager's discretion." I asked her then why it doesn't say that on the policy on their corporate website and she said she doesn't know but cannot go over her manager's head. I ask if I can speak to her manager then and she said very rudely "he's not here right now, he doesn't work Sundays!" I asked when he is available and she said "usually weekday mornings". Well usually I work weekday mornings so I told her I'd just go write a bad review on Yelp since they don't want to abide by corporate policies. She said "go right ahead!" Appalled by their rudeness and how unacommadating they were being over a 8 dollar item! Can't wait to call corporate tomorrow about their customer service

    Not all chain pharmacies are the same. Back when there were more mini and medium chains, even some…read moreof the big boys like Sav-on Drugs and Thrifty had some heart. I didn't realize it when I was a little kid fanboying on Sav-on and Thrifty (which we called "Thrifty's," for some reason); but Longs was another drugstore that, despite being a multi-state chain, felt like a mom-and-pop operation. This is a review of the CVS on West Whittier Boulevard in La Habra, but this CVS used to be a Longs, and despite the CVSification that it has undergone--and it's definitely not the same as it was--it has, somehow, managed to retain some of its old charms. It's on the bigger side for Southern California CVS locations. It has a large center aisle helpfully aligned with the front doors, so as you enter, everything health- and hygiene-related is to your left, and all the junk food and gifts and drinks and household items are on your right. The pharmacy is at the back (obviously). The people who work here are universally nice. I'm a frequenter of CVSes large and small, so I know a little bit about dealing with CVS employees who don't want to deal with me, and I've had bad experiences at every single store--every store except for this one. Granted, I've never used the pharmacy, so there's that. They have self checkout, but unlike almost every other CVS location with those job-killing devices, they don't try to force you to use them. This location is actually much farther than the one closest to my parents' house (that one's within a mile), but I always go out of my way to come here, because I'm so sick of dealing with the sad-sack attitudes and annoying pestering of the employees there. And I know it's not totally random and is based on what and how frequently you buy, but this CVS seems to offer the most valuable coupons on its mile-long receipts. If you come around Christmas, they have firewood right near the entrance, and you don't even have to bring it to the register; just tell one of the employees that you're taking firewood on your way out, and they'll ring it up. Plus it's really good firewood, or at least it has been every fall and winter since 2020. I'm still sad that Longs is gone--that all of them are gone--but there is some solace in the smiling faces at this Longs-turned-CVS.

The recorded message does not offer the option to enter a prescription number, instead the name of the drug needs to be stated. How many times can I say the name of the medication and be told I cannot be helped because the system doesn't recognize the name of the drug I'm saying? Even though the system JUST SAID THE NAME OF THE DRUG?! It's so infuriating, as soon as I can, I'm transferring my prescription to the Costco down the street.
