I am posting this review in behalf of my sister Olga Keller. She is a kind of every day customer to the Pharmacy Department. She is a care taker for my elderly parents, therefore it is a constant visit to the pharmacy . Olga wants to acknowledge Mark (Pharmacist) for his outstanding Customer Service she states that if there is an issue with refills,he takes the time to call the Doctor's office so my parents would not run out if. The cashier lady with red hair is racist and rude when my and my mom would pay she gives us tone and she's always racist when my mom went alone she told me the red hair girl gave her attitude and wasn't understanding my moms English and kept laughing at her because of her accent manager needs to do better and fire that women we've had problems with her in the last 2 years I've purchased from that location that lady genuinely pisses me off never going back here! read more

I visited this CVS at approximately 5:50 PM to pick up a package that had been delivered to your location. Unfortunately, the customer service I received was disappointing. The employee assisting customers was on the phone and appeared annoyed when I asked for help. Her attitude came across as rude and unprofessional, making what should have been a simple package pickup an unpleasant experience. Customers deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of how busy the store may be. I hope management addresses this issue and reminds staff of the importance of providing professional customer service. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I went to pick up my refill rx I get every 3 months. I noticed they pulled it out of the fridge. I said that's strange I have never kept this rx in the fridge. The pharmacist Melissa who is also the manager said oh there is a shortage so your doctor substituted this. I was like ok. The co pay was $120.... I took the first dose and noticed immediately I felt off. This was on Friday. By Sunday I was a mess. Brain fog and agitation. I discontinue use and felt better. I started to do research and found that the substitute is actually a completely different medication and is 3x the strength of what I was taking. In addition to having other medications in this dose. I contacted the pharmacy. Melissa would not take my call and I was basically told that's what it is and I can't bring it back. I might as welll flushed $120 down the toilet. I have gone to this pharmacy for years and am so disappointed. When I was on the phone asking why no one told me it was different and 3x the strength. Melissa yelled from the backround I told her it was a substitute .... again she never said it's 3 times stronger! Btw I got the medication I needed for 3 months from a private pharmacy for $13. I asked the pharmacy for the regional managers number and they refused to give it to me. I will be reporting them to the pharmacy board. They should have just refunded me what I paid. This is so wrong and unacceptable and the way I was talked to was inexcusable. Hopefully someone from corporate sees this and gets back to me. read more

The cashier with the red hair is so rude. She always looks and acts like she doesn't want to be there and help. My prints hadn't printed even though I got an email saying they were ready , i asked her okay so what are my options do I come back tomorrow? She says I don't know they didn't print I don't know what to tell you. So unprofessional no customer service. She seriously needs to be trained correctly. Claudia store manager was rude. I had a family member try and pick up photos I had printed. She did not "find them " even tho my sister gave her order number. I had to go get them myself even tho I was pre occupied.once I got to the store. My picture was handed to me within seconds. If I could give 0 stars I would. ELLIAS the pharmacist is not only condescending and rude he had a huge power trip. About a month ago I filled my medication at the cvs on mills, I have a ongoing medical condition and if I do not have my medication I become very ill. My primary doctor was out of town so the covering physician sent over a prescription to cover me until my normal primary doctor got back to town. Back in April when I went to pick up my medication he questioned why a different doctor sent in my medication I informed him that she was the covering physician and she was in the same office and group as my normal primary he told me he had to look into that and I couldn't get my medication until the following day. I went a day without my medication however I was able to pick it up the following day and let that situation go. Fast forward to Monday may my normal primary doctor is back and I needed a refill on my meds she sent the prescription through and notated on the prescription to dispense immediately as I would be out of my meds the following day. He told me he wouldn't release my meds until may 18! I told him how could he do that to me my doctor has approved this and my last prescription clearly stated the medication was only filled until my normal doctor was back in office (I only received 16 days of medication) which the quantity and notations clearly stated that in April. My dr office called him and asked why he was treating a patient in this way and asked him why he wouldnt fill the medication, he hung up on them. I then called and asked why he was putting me through this and he told me he would make sure they any other pharmacy I went to wouldn't fill my med for atleast 30 days. He has a major power trip and doesn't belong in a position where he can control the life's of other people. After that my dr office decided it would be best if I chose a different pharmacy, so I had my meds changed over to my new pharmacy and ELLIAS had the nerve to call that pharmacy (he literally was searching my name and going out of this way to find where I had my meds sent to called that pharmacy and told them I was not due for refill for 30 days and urged them not to fill my medication! The new pharmacy called me and told me he called and they said he threatened them that he would report their pharmacy if they filled that med for me. I was in tears I couldn't believe it! That is harassment at the very least. So I decided to walk into a different cvs store. I requested to speak with the lead pharmacist and was luckily able to sit down with her and tell her the entire story. She was amazing she saw exactly what I was talking about and even saw the lies he dictated on my patient file. She said she didn't know why he was treating me like that and said if my doctor directed my meds to her location she would have no problem filling the medication. I went back to my doctor's office and had my doctor send the meds over to her and they were ready for pick up within a hour. Ellias shouldn't be able to work in the position he is in and should be fired. He illegally went out of his way to try and block me from medication that I need to take everyday. I thank God that the woman who helped me at the other cvs location gave me her time and sorted this out with me because if it were up to ellias he would have left me without my meds for over a week and a half. I am writing this so if there is anyone else who has been through something like this with ellias at cvs pharmacy on mills I encourage you to report him as I will be filing a complaint with the state against him and also with cvs. I want to assure he never is able to do this to anyone else. I had to spend 3 days fighting for my health because of this man. read more

The pharmacy team is always fantastic, and the pharmacist has stayed a few minutes late on multiple occasions to help last-second walk-ins that I've seen. They always go above and beyond and are kind to customers. A lot of the complaints I see on here are out of this location/the employees' hands, but the staff here are top-notch! read more

For the umpteenth time I took my 40% emailed discount into this store and patiently waited in line. When I got to the counter, I was told, as this has happened multiple times, that the item was on sale so the discount was not applicable. I fully understand their on sale procedure. Once again the aisle that contained the product did not have the product marked as on sale. I would never have picked it up had it been marked. Needless to say, I walked out without buying anything as I have done many times. I'm tired of waiting in lines only to continuously have to go thru this unethical process. *ZERO STARS* Called the pharmacy to ask about the status of a prescription. The tech was super nice and helpful but she said that she would have to ask the pharmacist who was on lunch. She said she would call me back and she did but I missed the call. I called back 5 mins later to check in since the voicemail said I'd need to call back. I called back and no one knew what I was talking about. I asked about when my prescription would be ready and if they would take tele-health prescriptions. The representative or tech was not the same woman I had spoken with before. She starts saying something about tele-marketers and at that point I just asked to speak with the pharmacist since they should know all the answers and since they were already asked these questions previously. I WAITED 45 MINS ON HOLD. 3 techs answered during that time asking what they could help me with as if I am just calling for the first time and hadn't been on hold already asking for the pharmacist. So instead I headed in there to see the pharmacist myself in person. and on my way ANOTHER tech answered and said "hello? Are you still waiting to speak with the pharmacist" at that point I was like "don't worry about it, I'm headin over right now to ask!" The questions took 2 SECONDS to answer. But I was on hold for 45 MINUTES. Gary (pharmacist) said "well the in person people get priority" as if, again, he didn't already know what I was asking for, called me and left a voicemail to call back, and had me waiting 45 MINUTES. Also when he answered my questions he didn't even need to look anything up on my account, didn't ask for my date of birth, or my name. Literally he already had the answers. Like at that point, it seemed like he purposely did not answer the call. LIKE HOW HARD IS IT TO JUST ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS OVER THE PHONE IF YOU DIDNT HAVE TO LOOK ANYTHING UP?? Staff is amazing and very helpful at this location. The Pharmacy rocks and they helped us get our vaccinations with no problems. My 3 stars is for the parking lot trash and filth. I had a issue with my prescription and a Tech name Crystal she was helpful with my needs very professional and most importantly Genuine. You know immediately that she cares about her job. so this is the 2nd time i have been to this pharmacy & they still cannot get it right!! The pharmacists really need to slow down & double check their orders. My three prescriptions that i picked up were not even mixed. To start, the girl was too darn lazy to verify my insurance coverage, wanted me to pay full price for everything, but i insisted she call and verify my coverage, winded up paying only $11 for every thing. Makes me wonder if this girl is certified to be even working there. She obviously does not know what to do. I will stick to my Rite-Aid Pharmacy. so darn frustrated. Now i have to drive to another CVS that is 24hours so they can fix my medications!! having to go this late after midnight is really upsetting!!! read more

I always come here to pick up my prescriptions and medicine. It is located next to Stater Brothers Market. The store is 24 hours and they have the pharmacy which hours are pretty much business like. They conveniently have a drive thru which is very easy access. They are always fast with their prescriptions and letting you know when it's ready. They send me a text to let me know and reminders after that in case I forget. The service is here has always been really nice. I always see the same two girls working and they are very fast and friendly. I've gone into the store a few times for medicine but never really shop at CVS. The people inside are also friendly and the store itself is clean. It's on the newer side so it has been well taken care of. read more

Stopped here after work. Man, its tough to get service here. This place is fine if you know exactly where the item your looking for is located at in the store, otherwise good luck. I had to ask 2 different employees for the location of the item I was looking for. The first person I asked was the pharmacist. Of course, she sent me to the wrong aisle. I then spent the next 10 mins looking around all aisles next to the one I was directed to. Finally I gave up and asked someone else. They were finally able to help me locate it. guess I have to take some of the blame for this, i could have asked someone else sooner, but I am pretty capable of finding something on my own. I have been here once before and the owner is a nice guy don't get me wrong. But I would like to know why I was being followed as if I was a thief? If I would go to the makeup section this chubby light skin mexican women with glasses would follow me. If I was at the medicine aisle, she would follow me and pretend she was fixing chips or something. This is ridiculous CVS. During this whole Coronavirus outbreak we can't even feel like you've got our back as our local pharmacy? I work hard for my money and I didn't even give this women suspicion to even think I was shop lifting! She was even eyeing my purse!!! This is disgusting. Worst Pharmacy in Town! Their automated system will say one thing on when prescription will be ready, you call to talk to someone live, they'll say no, system is incorrect it will be ready in 30 min. You give it 5 hours or more to go pick up and not once, but 3 times i've experienced such frustration, I'll go to pick up and they'll say its not ready or they have no medication in stock that I will need to go to another pharmacy. When you are sick and in somewhat desperate need of your medication, being given false information is completely unacceptable. They come back and say "I understand your frustration, I understand". Ah no you don't because this wouldn't keep happening over and over. From the tone of the pharmacy staff, their apologies are expressionless and robotic. read more

Okay, so I haven't really shopped in the store part of the pharmacy. But the reason I'm giving 5 stars is just for the pharmacy alone! I've been coming here for years to pick up prescriptions, and everyone has always been so nice and helpful. The service is usually pretty fast, and when its busy you can see that they're doing all they can to help you as soon as possible. Any time I've had a problem with my prescription or doctor, I've never had to lift a finger. They've always gone out of their way and called the doctor or have sped up my refills. I've never received any kind of attitude or have felt rushed, like I have in other pharmacies. I recently moved across town on the opposite end of Whittier, and there are pharmacies closer to me, but I still stick with this one because of the excellent service. read more
