I love all things breakfast but I'm never usually up until most places stop serving it. Glad I found this little place that serves THE BESTTT breakfast sandwich I've ever had!! Loved how the yolk isn't cooked thoroughly so it gives it a little more flavor when it pops. Don't get me started on the tomato sauce they added on to it. Surprisingly it beats plain old ketchup. The last 2 times I've driven out there for coffee, the drive thru was closed and the doors locked. Website says they close at 8 PM and both times I came at around 5:30 PM. What is going on? Amazing atmosphere and FANTASTIC food! The staff was pleasant and welcoming! It was my first time going and wanted to check it out since it was mentioned in a FB group. I can honestly say that you won't be disappointed, and if you have questions about anything on the menu, the wait staff will answer them! I'm just impressed that it's not only a coffee shop but it also has a full bar! Who would've thought?!?! What can I say... it was an overall great experience! The location is a little removed (not bad), but we'll worth it. You walk in and are greeted with a medium sized, open space. The staff and environment were extremely inviting. The only problem, I'd say, was that my wife wouldn't let me order more food! She didn't want my stomache to hurt, and I appreciate her, but I would've hurt for this place! Haha, in all seriousness, the food was delicious and filling, but didn't leave you feeling weighed down. I was having a really hard day last week and went to Rival for a pick me up. I never remember my favorite drink, I call it the Sophie special. I think Sophia stirs it with her sweet finger. She always makes it so good. I love going here. The employees are always so nice. Gordon has a welcoming smile and goes out of his way to say hello, Sophia stops what she's doing and makes sure I get my favorite drink. The chefs put extra lOVE into their Baller BLT, the new guy Christian is really trying. Thankfully, they have a super RAD manager, Eli, who really cares about his team mates. Next time I'm there, I hope he "hard throws" one of those stuffed donuts at me!! I kinda feel left out after reading the last review. This place is great for work lunches when you and your team are stuck in a conference room and need to order in, just door dash. You won't be disappointed. Also, for vegan options, try any salad and ask them to hold the meat. I recommend the pecan, strawberry spinach salad. The dressing is delicious!!! Don't forget to sign up for rewards. We're at Rival every weekend, sometimes twice in a weekend. The food is delish, the coffee gets the job done, but more than anything, the staff and the vibe are great. We're that kind of annoying but hopefully very nice family with twin toddlers who try to run around like wild animals, and the staff and people are very good to us. It's a big, open space. I want to change my rating to more stars but I was extremely annoyed by their drive thru service. I appreciate warm and welcoming workers but when I pulled up to the window to get our drinks I saw someone set all 4 of them right in front of the window but the cashier was no where to be found. We sat there for 3-4 mins (yes we timed it) watching our drinks. It's super frustrating because not only is the point of the drive thru suppose to be a quicker option, once the guy came up to the window he was so confused and was trying to read each of the labels to me and wasn't able to figure them out. They need to have a designated drive thru cashier on weekends and or busier times. I really like the product but service is just so dang lackadaisical! I really hope management has a talk with them and they can get it together because I am dying to share this place with people but don't like recommending places that are lacking in service. read more

We used to love this place. The food is delicious (particularly the vegan hash and breakfast pasta), but unfortunately the place keeps getting worse and worse. When we started going here in May, it was just a coffee shop with food. Then they added Sips and Eats which was a sit down/full service concept. Food got even better but they seemed to have different chefs for breakfast and lunch. Then they nixed the full service part and you order at the counter, get a number, they deliver it to you on real plates with real silverware (no signs directing you, so we didn't know we had to order at the counter after they changed from the full service concept/this was frustrating). Until about 2 weeks ago, they were still delivering the food to the table. Today we went at about 12:55 and we learned that they stopped serving breakfast at 1pm. The people in front of us took longer than 5 minutes to order so we missed breakfast (seriously you can't make a little girl a pancake 5 minutes after you stop serving breakfast?). We ordered food, went to our table and waited for them to call our names. When we picked up our food, it was all in take home containers and plastic utensils. Super disappointed. The excuse may be that it's due to COVID, but then why were none of the staff wearing masks when the indoor mask mandate was put in place 2 days prior? Anyways, I've gone on too long but we're super bummed that one of our favorite places has changed so much that we will most likely not be returning. It's also super expensive.
