I ordered food from here last night through Postmates and man did it arrive so fast! Honestly fastest delivery I have experienced no joke! I ordered the chile relleno and the chicken taquito plate. The taquitos are soo good and the green salsa is fire! The salsa is full of flavor and has a kick to it (if you like a little spicy).... the chille relleno was a bit greasy than usual but it did have good flavor. My brother ordered the asada nachos and the asada tastes so much better than the al pastor. The asada is just full of flavor! Went in there for the first time and the 2 cooks in the back just stood there then when we were finally helped we decided to eat there and it seemed like they didn't want people eating in. I got a burrito the size of half a burrito supreme from Taco Bell. Worse location by far. Food was good but walked out more hungry than when I got there. Not worth the money. Don Tortaco or even Roberto's burrito twice the size same price. Just read reviews and clearly the owner doesn't care he just replies to everyone's disappointments and does nothing about it. The food was not enjoyable. I got two burritos and Everything was very very dry. The burrito tortillas were very dry and wrapped very thick and was not reheated to soften it. The rice , meat fillings everything tasted stale and dry. The salsa was a packaged salsa from some store which tasted very appalling like plastic. The food was neither authentic neither Americanized and very very dry. I sometimes wish food joints understood the concept of "fresh" and "quality". Ordered this place delivery via Uber eats. The food came quick and on time I had ordered their steak nachos and four of their chicken tacos everything was hot so much meat on the nachos and tacos. Also came with the green and red salsa which are very spicy but tasty. Also a lot of cheese which is always a win for me. I will say the chicken had less flavor than steak I would definitely recommend for a quick fix Mexican food but I prefer the steak over the chicken and I will try their steak tacos next time read more

The closest Mexican joint I can get my hands into and they are good. We discovered them one evening and we were craving for a decent Mexican food. We saw them as we were getting gas at the Shell station next to it. So far I have been getting their carne asada burrito, and my wife loves their carne asada fries. I have yet to try their shrimp and fish tacos. Will I recommend this place? YES The only reason for the 3 stars is because they do not have other authentic Mexican meats that I am looking for, like cabeza, lengua, buche or tripitas. Twice now I've ordered here through Uber eats and it was terrible. They never give you salsa when you ask, if they do it's one for a whole plate of nachos. I ordered through Uber Eats. My order was posole, chicken nachos, and 2 chicken tacos, both hard and soft. Let me tell you they fill you up with chicken. Like A LOT! Which is good. The chicken nachos were on point! The chicken tacos were loaded and tasty. The posole was tasty, but there wasn't a lot of Hominy. Overall, I definitely would be returning. Yall get the 3 stars because the carnitas saved the day! Ordered 2 asada and 2 carnitas tacos. The asada was dry and hard to swallow. The carnitas was moist and juicy with a good flavor. Only thing is it was fuuulll of fat. Literally half the meat i had to take out was fat. And not the good kind. I paid 16 bucks for 4 tacos which i feel is OUTRAGEOUS they are lucky to be one of the only taco shops around my new area. The young Hispanic cashier never speaks, unless you're Hispanic and he ask how they're doing and what can he get them. Other than that it's just awkward silence and you just say your order. You pay like 6-7$ could be more for only a couple pieces of shrimp if you're adding it into anything. When the order was ready the lil rude El nino when my food was ready just sat it on the counter, no calling of an order # or speaking out saying your order is ready. Today I ordered a steak burrito and a side of fries. Their side of fries are always a large amount so I appreciate that. My SO and I came to Rivas as a late night quick Mexican food craving! My go to is always a bean and cheese burrito which never disappoints. My SO got shrimp fries and was totally in love. The shrimp fries are pure "FIRE" as he says and totally recommends ordering them, however you must eat them fast or they'll get soggy. The food came out quick and was just to our liking.
