I feel like I'll never get the raw onion taste out of my memory-- it was a shock to bite into raw onions and spread when my order is double double animal style protein style no spread extra fried onions extra pickles. What I got was a double double protein style stacked high with raw onions and spread. I'm still sad... I scraped off the offending elements and tried to make do... but it was awful... I wouldn't rank in-n-out as top fast food burger because as of late they have been letting me down with (small beef) patty getting lost in the burger. I finally figured out how to recreate what I remember them to be. In short, here is what I recommend to order (and ignore the supposed secret menu) - get a double double with no lettuce. Also order fries and coke. If you do this, you can actually enjoy the thin beef patty. Five star for this location as they're fast on every visit made despite long drive thru line. In-N-Out has been making great burgers since they first opened back in 1948. It's one of the last real old-school burger joints around , same simple menu, same quality, and even their famous secret menu options like "Animal Style" or "Protein Style" (my fav when I'm cutting back on carbs because it always hits the spot). This In-N-Out location is off the 215 and 5th St & is one of the newer ones, and I like that it's not as packed as some others. It's super clean, and it has that classic In-N-Out look, which adds to the nostalgia feeling. The employees here are fast, polite, and always upbeat. Whatever they're doing in training , it works because most of all their employees are consistently friendly and efficient with all their orders. Their drive thru line moves fast. I've eaten inside this restaurant location and gone through their drive thru and in both I received fast service . I've never once gotten my order made incorrectly here. Im giving this location 5 stars for keeping it classic from their uniforms , menu , original building design, and great and fast customer service. Don't forget to grab a vanilla shake ! This was my first time at and in & out ever! I'm from Hawaii and we were staying in Mesquite. Drove to this in & out since we're going to California. First off! This restaurant made me feel like I was back home. Lesley the cashier was so sweet and helped me and my family decide what to order. The menu is super simple but you can customize your burger with all kinds of toppings & she explained everything they have to offer there. She made my first experience ordering not so nerve wrecking! The cooks as well as the employees who served the food was also very nice and had smokes on their faces. Back home in HI this is how the people are. Good location with a drive thru that's not in traffic's way. Always a plus! Wait time on average isn't too bad, but there's the occasional visit when it seems like all of Las Vegas had the same idea to mow down on an animal style double double! Over a year since we were last here, with the pandemic waning this time we dined inside. Consequently, we greatly enjoyed our Burgers and Fries consumed right after being picked up from the counter. For me a Hamburger with Raw Onion yielded a cold, crisp bite, and a Cheeseburger with Grilled Onions and nicely melted cheese offered a welcome counterpoint. Lettuce and Tomato were fresh as always. And Diane was well content with her plain Double Double Cheeseburger. Crisp French Fries were great again. We split three orders. Look, In-N-Out has great burgers. Probably my favorite burgers out of any place I've lived in the US. There's something special about them you won't find elsewhere. Here's the issue: their prices keep climbing and yet their product has gotten smaller. Right now it's over four dollars just for a cheeseburger, and these meat patties are paper thin! Sure they taste great, but I leave still hungry. Also, remembering back to 2020, In-N-Out was one of those companies that mandated the mask nonsense. Another great dining experience at In-N-Out Burger!!! The staff is always friendly and reads your order back to you to make sure it is accurate. I got the cheeseburger animal style and protein style, with fries. Spouse got a double double no onions and the strawberry lemonades were awesome! They now serve a light strawberry lemonade as well. First time being at this location, went through the DRIVE THUR and the person taking orders was nice. She repeated the order back and it was wrong we told her again and she said ok. Cheeseburger the same way with both style onions With 4 fries no salt We got our to the cashier window and the order was repeated back wrong so we let the guy know what it was suppose to be said ok. Got our bags of food and the burgers were very sloppy there was grilled onions all through the bag. The fresh onion wasn't on two burgers which should have been on two asked for extra lettuce and it looked like one had lettuce shoved on top. We were suppose to have three double doubles got two even though it looked like three were there but it had a missing patty and cheese and grilled onions was so sloppy that it appeared to be thicker but once opened when we got home sadly mistaken. If you're hungry looking for a quick place to eat, skip In and Out burger. I haven't had In and Out in years, it sounded good so stopped in. I honestly don't understand all the hype. They are always super busy and I just don't get it. The order was correct and warm. It took about 10 min to get through the line. The fries were not good they were almost like they weren't cooked all the way. They were really soggy. The burger isn't anything special it's a burger with thousand island dressing on it. It lacked flavor. Yes, I realize this is a fast food place but they could still season the beef patty. It just overall wasn't good. The service was great and the workers had smiles. Came here to get a burger for me and my husband after working a 16-hour shift. We went through the drive-thru, and an employee took our order. When I was done ordering, she proceeded to ask my husband, "How about you, passenger princess?" I was honestly not in the mood for dumb jokes. Every time we come here, the same employees (Asian/Chinese ) tries to be funny, but she's not. Then she went on her headset and said it to the rest of her coworkers. I proceeded to pull forward, and the lady at the window asked if I needed any condiments, which I said yes to. Then another employee came and asked the same thing. When I got my order, of course, I didn't get the condiments. More than half the time , they also get our orders wrong. I stopped dining in during my lunch because of the annoying teenage employees and the restaurant is always dirty. The morning shift is better and they keep it clean and professional but obviously it because adults work in the morning. I'm a general manager for subway and you guys make me feel better about my own employees ! Whoever is incharge for afternoon shift needs to do a better job. read more

We had gone a few places that day but when I got home I noticed the gold choker he had given me was not on my neck. I searched the house the car. The next day I called In and Out Customer Service they contacted the 6880 N 5th location and told me they found it. I was so grateful to the honest employees. When I went to pick it up they cheered. My favorite In-N-Out Burger establishment. Staff are really friendly and the food comes out just right. They do have a drive-thru which does get pretty busy, but they seem to be able to get the orders out quickly so you don't have to park like other fast food places. This makes the location an ideal place if you have a craving for burgers, but don't have much time on your hands. There is a large parking lot in-between this In-N-Out and Popeyes. Due to the large volume of traffic, they did turn one of the parking lanes into a drive-thru lane which is fine. The cones allow for 2 lanes and you merge into one just before you order. The Double-Double and Cheeseburgers are awesome here compared to other fast food restaurants. You don't get that after taste which feels like you are getting meat patties from a microwave. They always get your order right because the employee taking the order repeats it to you and the employee taking your payment also does the same. You get two chances to get your order right. The dining area is fairly clean and the ambiance is like any other fast food restaurant. They have staff members walk through the dining area just to make sure the tables are ready for the next customer. They have the condiment and napkin dispensers in the middle of the restaurant and their drink dispensers are located right next to the counter. Overall, great experience. read more

After seeing the drive thru line was really long, and by really long I mean longer than what's considered long for In N Out. I decided to dine in with my husband which we've never done before. We quickly got our food, and It was actually nice eating our food while it was still piping hot. We usually have to reheat our food a bit after making the drive home. The inside of the restaurant was immaculate, and they have this really touchless soda dispenser which was pretty cool to use and kept my hands germ free. The food was superb as usual. read more

This place has gone to crap! Used to be great service and good. Must be new management. The place was an absolute mess. We asked for no salt on fries, one fry light well. Fries had tons of salt and the light well was burned. When all I found was the doggie patty wrapper but no meat in the bag. The Hispanic female manager rolled her eyes, grabbed the bag out of my hand and proceeded to dig thru the bag with no gloves on. She said it was between the burgers. So gross and no class. I said it's probably because they put the patty in upside down. No apologies no thank you. My wife and I noticed how much smaller and thinner the burgers are and we both had upset stomachs after we ate. First time ever this happened. In a good way. I went through the drive-through, which did take longer than normal. I'm not sure if they were understaffed or what but it did seem like it took an unusual amount of time for the amount of cars that were in the drive-through... I dropped in during the lunch rush on Thursday, December 16, 2021, & I was able to get in the drive-thru, order my food and have it at the window in under 10 minutes. This includes waiting to order and payment time. One of the cool things that In-N-Out does now is have different sizes of milkshakes versus only one size before. Double Double animal style, add chopped chili, Animal fries well done and you have a masterpiece! One of my favorite burger joints throughout my travels, yet this one will always remind me of home. read more
