Awesome little stop. We went out on our motorcycles and stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. The burgers where very tasty. Calamari was awesome! so many times people over cook it and it becomes like chewing on a rubber band. Not here! It was great. Service was great and beers were good and cold. Only slight (and I mean slight) knock I have is the fries. The fries are the battered type that everyone seems to be serving. My wife and I are not big fans of that type of fry. Wish restaurants would go back to plan old fries. This place is under new management. We never went under the old so I can't compare it but it looks like it is growing. Worst service not once but 2 times in a row. Simple order calamari, clam strips and chowder. Got the chowder and sat there for over an hour waiting for the rest. Bullshit. Tonite our party of 6 experienced very poor service and lack of effort by our server. We waited over an hour for our meal. After asking our server and other servers four times about our meal, they kept saying 'It was next in line' which was not true. I finally went to the kitchen window and asked about our food. They had no first ordered, first served system. If they had any kind of system, it was not obvious. Our server made no effort expedite our order or inform us about the status of our order. Planned a little day trip and drive to Florence, Arizona, and knew I had to stop here for lunch. Hadn't been here in about four years, but seemed to have remembered liking this place . . . and my memory was correct. The beer was good and cold . . . had a couple of Shock Top drafts . . . the wait staff and bartenders were cheerful and talkative . . . the atmosphere was as I remembered it . . . kinda biker / dive barish. Ordered the Road King burger and steak fries . . . burger was good, not great (three napkins), and would have like it a little less done (more toward medium) . . . and the steak fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside . . . just the way I like them. The bartender and beer was good. If I was just having drinks it would be 5 stars. I ordered lunch and the bartender did warn me it would take 45 min. It took an hour. It was busy but 45min to an hour for lunch on a Saturday is ridiculous. I ordered the patty melt and garlic fries. The onions were not grilled and what they used for a patty could barely be called meat. Skip the garlic fries too. They were drenched in what I think was supposed to be garlic oil, with no traces of garlic. Having a few drinks there is fine. Don't go for the food. read more

I was down in Florence for a work meeting which lasted beyond lunch time. I was starving so on my way back to the SE Valley I stopped at what appeared to be a little dive watering hole on the side of the road. It turned out to be a great find! Ordered a burger and some fried pickles. The burger - I kid you not- was one of the better burgers I've had in my day, and trust me, I'm no stranger to a good burger. Everything was fresh, it was kept simple, and it was the perfect balance of meat and toppings, with a nice, soft bun. If I say it was surprisingly good I wouldn't be doing it justice. So often places try and complicate a burger, and completely ruined the whole thing. These guys know how to make a good burger. If the rest of their food is as good as the simple bacon cheeseburger and fried pickles I had, I'm sold on this place. The beer was cold and staff was friendly. The food was obviously a hit. We've been here several times for lunch and the live entertainment. The outdoor patio is rustic but has recently improved to nicer tables and they've built a nice stage for the band. The live entertainment varies from bad to very good, obviously depends on who's performing. Service has always been friendly but slow, seems their kitchen can never keep up with the orders so expect to wait for your food. The food itself is fine, typical pub food. I've had the burger, the Reuben, a salad, chicken tenders, patty melt, and fish and chips. The fish and chips are my favourite. My wife & I stopped in for the first time yesterday. We were a little learly because of all the bikers there. Went in anyway because we were hungry. The bikers were all over 50 and behaving themselves. Nice bar and outside patio where they had good music. The burger was good and the home made sweet potato fries were excellent. The beer was cold and good choices. We both had a dark draft beer. Service was excellent. My only negavive comment is the cook shouts out ORDER READY whenever a order is ready for pickup. Where do I begin ? My friend wanted me to experience her favorite restaurant near her home, and I was equally happy. We entered the bar and walked to the patio, sat at the bar. The bartender failed to greet us she was very unfriendly , made us feel we were bothering her . Well I won't get into the lack of service but let's say service was sad. This is a biker friendly bar. Ice cold beer with a good selection. Excellent burgers. During the summer they have live music on Friday nights. Once it cools down outside though they have live music on Fri-Sat starting in the afternoons. read more

If I could vote less than one star I would. We are currently eating here at the time of this post, and took them 30 minutes just to take our drink order, another 15 to bring them to us. And it's not because they are busy, there 5 people inside sitting at the bar. After all that waiting, you'd hope it would be worth, but no such luck. The food, for myself, son and wife was all horrible. I chicken wings that came out cold, pulled pork sandwich, and the pork was so tough, I could barely bite through it. This place has really gone downhill over the past few years. I've been going here for about 3 years (work in the area) and I've seen it go through many changes and it has changed owners and as the new owners continue to change things. First, smoking lounge is gone and they're now making way for the "Blue Adobe Trading Post" where they will continue to sell the horribly tacky, garish, and overpriced rhinestone handbags, shirts, and belts that they've been selling at the bar section recently. It also seems like they change out the furniture every two months or so. I don't get why they keep doing this, how they can afford to buy so much furniture, and what the reason for it is. The place is also kept a little too dark for what its trying to be. The menu used to be pretty large, but is pretty overpriced for what they offer and for the place. They cut the menu down to a page or two a few weeks ago, but it is still overpriced. read more

Let me start by saying that the food was fantastic, we ordered the crab cake burger, fish and chips and a cup of chili and left feeling very satisfied and had leftovers. The reason for a sub par rating is because we when arrived it wasn't really busy, yet we waited 5 minutes to get a drink and then 40 minutes for our food to be delivered, and then another 20 minutes for our bill. We finally got so tired of waiting we left cash on the table and left. I watched people come in and get their food in the time it took us to get our check. Being in this industry myself I can understand being busy but it was not enough to warrant being forgotten. If you come here plan on spending at least an hour here, and if it's busy I'd assume 2 at the rate of acknowledgment from the staff. read more

Wandering in to places like this makes always being on the road bearable. The owner Randy and his wife are good, solid people that really make you feel welcome. It has a roadhouse vibe to it that is just cool as hell. The people you'll meet here are all friendly and you can be sure you'll hear some great stories and stay laughing.
