We have definitely let Penterson and Booth know and will hopefully find some better care for our other children elsewhere.

I did a lot of research on orthodontists and one of them quoted me an insane price for Invisalign and indicated my teeth would need to be pushed outwards before being able to be fixed and I couldn't just fix my crooked teeth, I needed to fix my entire alignment. I went to Dr. Bates for a second opinion and he assured me that fixing my crooked teeth alone was absolutely possible and he would do it for me for an incredibly reasonable price (and he worked with my time constraint for moving!) It was no brainer that I would go with him for my treatment. It only gets better, however. Him and his staff were absolutely incredible, nice, and insanely knowledgeable. So incredible, in fact, that after my round of Invisalign I came back of my own accord to completely align my teeth and fix my TMJ. I have no words to describe how incredibly overwhelmed I was that Dr. Bates helped stop the constant pain I had in my jaw and ear from the TMJ. I felt like crying tears of joy because it was absolutely affecting my everyday life. Although, my TMJ isn't completely gone, the everyday pain is no longer an issue. I cannot thank Dr. Bates and his staff enough for completely changing my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you're contemplating an orthodontist, I urge you. Please look no further. Dr. Bates' practice was THE ONLY ONE to return my call! I was so grateful for their timely and kind response. Abbey cheerfully answered my questions, explained the process, and set up the appointment. We arrived at a building tucked conveniently off Broad Street. We were greeted and my son promptly decided to start playing the free Pac-Man machine! The waiting room was large, clean, and well decorated. We were in and out in about 5 minutes. The small gesture of fixing the bracket for a kid you'll never see again really won me over. Thanks for being faithful with the small things! It really adds up to an impressive business model.

The details: we went over several treatment options at my complementary screening. I never felt pressured to go with higher options or anything like that. Every visit was prompt, speedy and my treatment plan was even shorter than expected. 8 months later my teeth were straight, my braces were off and I was presented with an array of choices for my retainer. This is by far the cleanest medical facility that I've been to since the pandemic. Furthermore, all the staff had on masks, face shields, and PPE garments over their clothes. The staff are friendly and smiled. I'd recommend Dr. Chip for his has patience with the children and get to know them which is great. This is not to say that he doesn't get to know his adult patients because he does.
