He wasn't very warm or welcoming , honestly I got that nasty feeling like he wasn't really interested in helping me . he felt around my mouth a little and laughed at what he saw . the ladies at this office are so sweet and would be the only reason I ever went back , and although my mom said she'd pay up to three thousand of it idk if i'm willing to pay anything to an orthodontist of his demeanor. 3 stars bc it was clean and his staff was professional.

They were very accommodating and conscientious when we had a problem with the expander they had installed. One of the bands had become unglued and they brought us in on a day when they weren't officially taking appointments so they could fix it. Now J has braces and she actually likes them! We are on our way home to check out her new glow in the dark bands!

The details: we went over several treatment options at my complementary screening. I never felt pressured to go with higher options or anything like that. Additionally I was told I would be getting only partial braces. Keeping my treatment and cost at a minimum. Every visit was prompt, speedy and my treatment plan was even shorter than expected. 8 months later my teeth were straight, my braces were off and I was presented with an array of choices for my retainer. Nearly 6 months later and less than optimal retainer usage, my teeth are still perfect. You really can't lose at this office!

She was very apologetic for the experience and assured me this was not the standard of service her clients usually received. She understood why I was upset and would not be a customer. I really appreciated her calling me to discuss... I was actually shocked. She didn't try to sway me to give her practice another chance or anything like that. She just wanted to apologize. She sounded sincere in her apology. It takes a lot of chutzpah to call and attempt to resolve a situation and I truly appreciated it.

Word of advice: don't ever get your tori removed (if you don't know what that is, you probably…read moredon't have them) but if you have to, go see Dr. Herrera. He was referred by a dentist friend (hey Dr. Stafford!) and while it was definitely a painful process I know I chose the right oral surgeon to go through it with. Dr. Herrera's staff is friendly and answered all of my questions. Maria is amazing at the front desk and Ashley is AWESOME in billing. Dr. H is one of those people that immediately makes you feel comfortable-even as he's explaining how he will be chipping large portions of bone out of your mouth. While not at all painless I've had the best experience with the entire staff here-from the front office to all of the surgical assistants. Dr. H even gives you his cell phone number, and is super accessible when you have questions. My husband will be coming back in to have his wisdom teeth removed-thank you!
