Love this place. Hot wings, pizza and the meatball sub all day. Always a go to after River or Pool day.

Walked into the restaurant and it was clean and we were greeted promptly. The restaurant was empty and we were the only customers the entire time we were there. We ordered one large and one small with jalapeño poppers a fountain drink and one Coors light. Came out to the large amount of $70 and some change. Received the poppers after the first pizza came out. No biggy, just waiting a long time and hoped for an appetizer while waiting. We then started eating out pizza and my husbands chicken one was terrible! The chicken was so beyond chewy, like it's been nuked a couple times in the microwave. He ate two pieces and just gave up on it. He said it just tasted burnt all over. I got a normal pepperoni pizza, pepperoni came out burnt on it and the sauce was over powering in oregano or something and insanely greasy. Sadly we are not a fan of this place. Especially considering the amount we paid for it and it came out the way it did. read more

I am so tired of eating pizza I really don't like, but good pizza is not cheap and cheap pizza is not good. I also hate paying high prices for pizza that has high reviews but is not to my liking, so after working hard last week I though I deserved a good lunch and was tired of pizza so I stopped here ordered a calzone with potatoes wedges and as the pic shows I almost ate it all. Was great! We did a delivery order since we were stuck in a hotel and didn't have a ride. The person on the call was friendly and took our order. They said it was about 45 min and came exactly 45min later. I honestly didn't know what I was ordering when I ordered. I got the calzone. Which was the first time I ever tried it. Let's say I won't be buying a calzone again. We also got the house salad which wasn't really pleasing. It was more bland even with their dressing. Probably the most thing that I enjoyed was the chicken teriyaki pasta. It was delicious! I thought the price was a bit expensive but hey they had delivery can't complain about that. 3rd visit. Have now made a habit of stopping here when driving through or staying overnight in the Mohave Valley area. Food: For me I've only had the pizza and have continued to get it for a reason ... has been excellent every time. In fact, I'll go as far as to say it's some of the best pizza I've had anywhere. Have been going with The River City Combo (subbing meatballs for pepperoni). Service: The guy who seems to be running the joint when I come in is a solid, professional and courteous dude. Would have given them 5 stars except for one thing: I cannot drink anything sweet or alcoholic ... only NA beer. If they stocked Heinies 0.0 or St. Pauli NA (not the tasteless NA Budw or O'Doule) am sure they would sell it! The Wagon Wheel restaurant down block sells Heineken 0.0 for $6 ... and people pay it. Just got home with my order from River City...... ordered the Chicken Spinach Pizza, ....... it's soooooo taaaaaasty!! Lots of gooey mozzarella and big tender tasty chunks of chicken. My hubby got a pepperoni/cheese, but not just any pepperoni/cheese. Super gooooood pepperoni (margherita style) plenty of cheese........it's like a smaller size version of a NY style pizza. The owner Gary is a straight up racist. First time I went there, he completely ignored my family and I, while continuing to take orders around us. Definitely won't be back. Rude service and subpar, expensive food. I came here for lunch prior to leaving California and ran into the clerk who had a rude attitude the whole time. For example, he asked me multiple times if I needed a drink and I told him no, I have water and drinks in my truck. He rudely replies, "Yeah you can't bring outside stuff in here!" Umm, ok, I was not planning on that. Upon paying, he practically threw my card back at me. The pizza itself was a large 3 topping and for the price, was horrible. If you like a heavy touch of garlic, you might like it but that's about it. I felt like I was eating a combo of grease, garlic, and burnt bread. He only takes select credit cards AMEX is one he will not accept He says he won't pay the fees well, that's part of doing business and River city pizza seems to think they have a lot of business. read more

Note.. this was over a year ago...Pizza just OK, nothing special. More often than not burnt on bottom yet soggy in the middle. Wings again just OK. Salads mostly cheese. Prices are crazy expensive. I ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas, one with sausage (not very tasty), two regular house salads, a two liter of soda, two wings and 6 cheesy bread ( hot dog buns with crappy tasting cheese that didn't melt right and they sent 5 instead of 6) a lil over $120.00 crazy never again. But I ordered their medium Spinach Alfredo pizza a different time and it was very delicious and I highly recommend that one. read more

Was on Needles for a few days for work and craving Pizza. Found this place n Yelp looked good so have it a try. First glance place looked clean this was a positive note. The front servers at night were very nice and informative on what to order. First night I got the A personal pizza and Wings. Brought the pizza back to my room by amazement it was outstanding the taste was very good the topping taste very fresh 5 stars . Next I tried was the Wings OMG amazing flavor and cooked perfect extra crispy just how I like them this was 5 stars for sure. Next day went back again and tried something else for the meatball sandwich it was just ok not enough meatballs and covered in to much cheese I would say 3.5 stars on this one . I have given this place several chances. First pizza so greasy we couldn't eat it. Ordered a chicken pizza last night and the chicken was petrified dry. When called to let them know. All we got was the chicken is already cooked and gets cooked again in the pizza oven. So it's double cooked basically is what she told us. I didnt expect the food to be as nice as it was. Everything was cooked for just as long as it needed to be. The garlic bread and wings were crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. My dad enjoyed his lasagna but didnt make any comments as to what he liked about it. I had a meat lovers pizza. The pizza was not light in toppings and there was plenty of meat on each slice. The bread/crust was nice in texture, but a bit bland in flavor. Overall, the meal was a expensive, but delicious. I'll stop by here next time i come around. read more
