The only thing I would critique about is sticking a little more along with the reference photo. I asked for a French tip with a little design. TERRIBLE experience! I felt completely DISRESPECTED by the staff. The "nail technician" barely acknowledged me, huffed and puffed every time I spoke, continued to speak rudely in another language about me, talked at me HARSHLY with ATTITUDE, and threw things onto the work table. Despite showing him a photo of a simple French tip, he didn't follow my request, left gel on my skin, didn't cut my cuticles, and filed my nails too short. The service was unprofessional, and I was charged $55 for poor quality. When I paid in cash, he quickly pocketed it without a word. Not sure if he's the owner. Either way, their employees are not trained and THIEVES ...OR the owner is a DISRESPECTFUL CROOK. Overpriced and disrespectful -- I won't be returning ever. read more

Not my first time going to this salon but first time I'm reviewing because I've always had a good experience! Walked in for 2 regular pedicures and walked out in an hour, which was perfect for my schedule. They were able to seat us right away and had a large color selection with different kinds of brands. Didn't get the guy's name who did our toes, but he worked quickly, cleaned up the sides, and made sure he was precise. Paid $64.00 total. I've gotten gel manicure, regular manicure, dip polish, acrylics, chrome, the pedicures in all the tiers, over 2 years now and each time it's fantastic. I've had Jessica, Darius (aka "D"), Tony, and Hannah all do my nails, and each of them have been extremely friendly and accommodating. Prices are reasonable and packages vary. I usually ask for a regular polish pedi and gel mani, and both last at least 3 weeks for me. But I've had French mani/pedi and dipped mani done, along with some freehand designs, and the services have been consistently great. The massage chairs during pedis are nice. I asked for round, the shape is weird and lopsided. I also had several nails with nicks. I noticed them, then when he filed my nails, I'm pretty sure he noticed it as well. The guy with glasses is really rough. I also hate when they try to do both hands on one side because you're stretching your arm across your body. I tried to make it apparent that I was uncomfortable. Usually, when they start to paint the nails, they ask you u like the color they did not. It's unfortunate because I always loved going there before the new management happened. Our regular nail person was out for a week and i needed mine done for an event. So i went with this place because of the reviews. I wish my experience was as good as some. A few hours after getting a full set my skin started bubbling up around my nail beds and around my fingers tips. The next day my skin started peeling off and it burned so bad. I asked around and majority of the nail techs i ask said it's because too much acetone was used. I tried to go back and let the lady know but she didn't want to hear me and said it wasn't her fault. I have never had a worst experience getting my nails done in my life. It's been 3 weeks now and I'm still recovering from my experience at River Nails. When I was getting my manicure, I was injured 3 different ways. First, when the manicurist used an electric file on my nail bed to remove the old nail polish. She didn't even try to use nail polish remover. She pressed down so hard on my nail bed that my fingers/ nails were aching for a few days after. My nails felt flimsy when she was done. Now my nails are so weak they won't stop breaking, even though I've had to trim them down to practically nothing. This has never happened to me before because my nails are usually very strong. Secondly, when she was cleaning under my fingernails, she poked a file so hard under my nail that I shouted in pain, involuntarily jerked my hand away.. Thirdly, I came home with cuts all around my fingernails from a really poor job of cutting my cuticles. I had squeezed lime juice, and three or four of my fingers were stinging in pain. read more

I got dipping power nails and never in my life has this happened to me! my nails were thinned out way to much before dipping in powder that after a week they came half off along with the dipping powder gel. Im giving 2 stars for them realizing they messed up and taking them off.
