DO NOT GO HERE. Let me list the reasons... 1. If you make an appointment, it is not honored. I wasn't sat until 40 minutes after my "appointment." 2. The manicurist insisted I get shellac when I was not interested. After telling her several times I did not want it, she brought the shellac colors to choose from. I had to remain firm that I wanted regular nail polish multiple times. 3. The manicurist also pushed me to buy additional services that I did not want. 4. When I set up the appointment, I made it clear I wanted the basic mani/pedi. Apparently during the mani/pedi, the pedicurist asked me if I wanted the deluxe version. I don't recall her asking that and even if she did, I could not understand her. That was very clear, as I kept asking her to repeat herself. I was charged $20 extra for the deluxe mani/pedi I did not order. 5. Afterwards, my nails were still drying, so I stood in line to sit under the drying machine. Another woman came by to tell me I did not need to sit there, as my nails were already dry. To prove it, she touched my nails, confirming they were indeed not dry at all. Came here with a friend and this was hands down the worst mani/pedi ever. They rushed through it and left excess paint all over my nails and didn't put a top coat on. They kept pushing other services which we weren't interested in. It just wasn't relaxing and I didn't have enough time to visit with my friend because we were done in 15 minutes. read more

Not sure of all the bad reviews but I have been coming here for many years with no problems. The place is nice and clean for a nail salon. They line all the tubs with plastic for each person and I've always seen them wash up while my nails are drying. Compared to other pedicures I've had the price is great especially for the deluxe. The only thing that bothers me is they try to up sell EVERYTHING, but that's how they make their living so I can't fault that. Vivian and Tracy are both really good and take the time to really work on your nails. The pedicures I've had here tend to last a lot longer than other places. Seems some people just like to complain about any little thing. If you're someone who still has patience & isn't afraid to speak up, you'll have a great experience here. I've been getting my lashes done by Van for over a year. Started with a Groupon for a full set for $70. She gave me refills for $50. And she's an artist. Does what I ask no matter how I change it up. Shop around for prices on lashes. This is cheap. Got my first full set mani and plain pedi from there today. Great work. They were very patient with my indecisiveness and I left with the best nails I've ever had. I got a top coat effect they call "chrome" my nails change color in different light. If you're not a whiny person expecting 5 star service at 2 star prices, then go here. If you're gonna bash an establishment because your appointment started 15 min late, or the employees gossiped around you in a different language, then save your money up & go elsewhere. read more

Sadly didn't have a great experience here. Staff was not really friendly at all and rushed through the pedicure despite the spa being completely empty. The pedicure didn't include any callous removal or anything, it was more of a polish change with a soak at the beginning. Mia does my eyelash extensions and she's amazing, very gentle and very reasonably priced! I told her exactly how I wanted my lashes to look and she did them perfect. At first, I was sketchy about this place because I was used to going to a professional eyelash studio. So I was worried it wouldn't be as good, But Mia does better than the woman I was going to for over a year. Highly recommend! read more

I love this place.They do such a good job.If you are in a rush,this isn't your place, but if you have time to relax and enjoy the awesome massage that accompanies the manicure, this is your place .They massage your arms , shoulder and neck as part of a manicure ! I love it ! I've had manicures and pedicures,shellac and facial done here.They were all done really well with a lot of attention to detail . Wanted to give this place another try after a bad experience a couple years ago. I got a plain mani/pedi for a great price (30$). I wanted to get my nails done for prom. My nail ladies were both very sweet , however on both my toes and nails almost ever nail had some portion that was unpainted . It looked as if I had done them myself, and a bad job at that. I had high hopes for this place as it is so close to my house and a nice atmosphere as well. They were very busy at the time which could have contributed to the rush . A friend of mine recommended this salon to about 2 weeks ago and I went there the past weekend, and I'm very impressed. The shop is not anything special, however, they are renovating their shop while I was there and the service is fantastic. The ladies here are so nice, they learn my name quickly, and seem to be pleased to work with you. I am always helped promptly, but feel as though my manicurist takes her time with me. My wife and I have been coming here for 6 maybe 7 years now. They are always accommodating with our appointments which we keep every two weeks and will reschedule if we need to.. The personnel are like family to us and treat us very well. We know all of the ladies here and in the time we have been coming, there has been very little employee turn over. We like that kind of consistency . The ladies that we use regularly know what we prefer and they always come through for us. We have used several different masseuse and we rate them all highly. Treat yourself to the hot rock massage and you will walk out a different person. read more

Walked in at noon and got appt for a pedicure at 1:30. This is the BEST one I've had on a long time. I was greeted with a glass of wine(they also offer mimosas and champagne ) . Right on time Athena pampered my toes, calves and feet until I was in heaven. My deluxe pedicure included a sugar scrub for my and calves followed by a clay mask and hot towel wrap on my feet, enjoyable foot massage and pretty polish Great deal for $32 read more

Have been going here for years... The staff is friendly and able to complete multiple services at the same time. If you catch it during a slow time of the day they really try to take the time to make it a relaxing experience rather than still trying to just move you through. I typically stick with a pedicure and neck/shoulder massage done at the same time. For $1 a min for the massage it's usually about 30 min for the pedicure and the extra $30 for the massage to enhance the experience is worth it to me. My only complaint is sometimes the other clients can be less than mindful of others trying to get in that relaxing down time. This of course is due to no fault of the staff... Just the typical open nail salon set up. Generally speaking I would say they cater more to someone wanting a pedicure with additional add on services. The few times I have opted to get my nails done they did a great job with both gel application and acrylic. Will continue to patron this establishment! read more

I live in the area and this is one of the better places around. It may not look upscale but they do a great job and there is rarely a wait when I go unlike some of the "fancier" salons in the area. I go to Janet regularly now so I do make appointments but when I call they always ask if I'd like to come in immediately so I can't imagine there's much of a wait like some reviews have mentioned. Also, if you call ahead even if they're about to close, they will take you! Great customer service. My friend and I were running around trying to find a place to get manicures and no one was open or willing to see us until we found River Oak Nails & Spa. I haven't gone anywhere else since. That was 6 months ago and I go every 2 weeks and have never had a problem. I am super picky when it comes to getting a full set and Janet does them absolutely perfectly every time I go. For people who get full sets, you should understand how rare it is to find someone you trust to do it your way! I have never had one fall off or even start to peel off from the bottom/sides before my next appointment and I sometimes stretch it out to 3 weeks. The only reason I go sooner is because they grow out, not because they're breaking. read more

Van and Team are Awesome!!! Very Clean Shop! These ladies do a superb job! Every Nail Technician I've used over the years is great! They all do quality work and will fix anything I've asked them to fix. If you don't want to wait, set an appointment! They respect their clients' time and work very hard and diligently!
