First time in! Cute little place with indoor and outdoor seating. Great oldies music. Great, friendly staff. 100 sanitation grade!! The food was delicious. Lauren's Grilled Turkey was really tasty. Loved the potato salad, too. My husband had the Hot Italian and said it was really good. Located in Danbury, a must try.

Great little spot right near Hanging Rock State Park! Solid sandwiches with fresh and tasty ingredients. I came by for lunch after my hike and doing some research in the area for a well deserved lunch. RRC did not disappoint and lived up to its positive reviews! There's plenty on the menu, it was so tough to decide! I went pretty simple and it was one of the tastiest sandwiches I've ever had out, but let me first talk about the kindness of the staff. The man that took my order was absolutely the nicest, most welcoming person I've ever met at a restaurant. He was just a divine human being. I can tell that's the kind of establishment this is. I watched a few other patrons come in and he knew them all by name! The restaurant is fairly small but there's a good amount of tables inside and out. You order at the counter and they call your name. It was super quick! The prices are also wonderful, especially in a time where costs are rising AND there aren't a ton of options around here, so for their prices to remain low is impressive. Now the good stuff! I ordered the Paul-Michael's sub. Smoky turkey and ham, the meltiest of cheeses, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a hoagie roll, grilled to perfection. Seriously y'all I can't explain why this was so good but it was delightful. The pasta salad was also tasty, I prefer a little more creaminess but it was yummy! All around, 10/10 experience. I will definitely be back! They're only open 11-2, so make sure you plan accordingly and fit this stop into your day!

Stopped by after hiking and glad I did. One of the best potato salads I've ever had. Friendly people. Plenty of parking. Plenty of seating inside and outside. The French dip was also spot on - perfectly toasted bread with healthy portion of flavorful meat. I thought I'd save half for later but it didn't stand a chance. Demolished the whole thing. Also note Google has their hours til 2p, but they're actually open til 3p.

My mom and I decided on another one of our day trip adventures. We decided we wanted to take the scenic route out by hanging rock. Since we left so early, we knew that we would have to stop for lunch somewhere. I checked my trusty Yelp up to see if there was anything recommended in the area and found this lovely little treasure. I am more convinced than ever, that Yelp has helped me find some of the sweetest, and cutest, little places to eat during my adventures. This is the sandwich place. It's in the cutest little town called Danbury in North Carolina down the street from hanging Rock State park. Inside it has about six to eight tables. You walk up to the counter to order what you want ( it's hot sandwiches cold sandwiches chili) We both got the Lauren, which is smoked turkey with lettuce and honey mustard on marbled rye bread. Mom got hers cold, I got mine grilled. It doesn't sound like much but let me tell you, they were REALLY good Sammies! This is a very popular place and while we were there some lunch regulars came in It was so friendly and so jovial I honestly wanted to look at apartments for rent in the area! It has been a long time since I have been someplace that made me feel this welcome. I earnestly hope that if you go out to Hanging Rock (and why wouldn't you?) that you stop here for lunch. Oh! On an aside....CLEANEST bathrooms EVER in ANY restaurant I have ever been to. SPOTLESS.

Yesterday was our first visit here and absolutely everything was perfect ! First of all, I was won over by the fact that they not only welcomed our fur baby Crowley, but they actually have a section on the menu JUST for dogs! We ate outside and enjoyed talking to Violet, who brought Crowley's steak and cheese platter to the table , complete with a bowl of ice water! Everything we ordered was SO good , especially the potato salad. So much so that we all wished we had more of it after we got home :) Pasta salad , Buffalo chicken wrap, the cheese sandwich - every bit of it was delicious! Another positive - and very important to me - the sweet tea was as good as mine ! Already planning on going back and also taking more family members to this cool little place! BTW, I never leave reviews for the most part. But I was definitely impressed with this place and wanted to share this great experience!

They are only open during lunch hours, at least during the work week, but this place has everything to eat as. Everything our party had was super delicious.

BBQ Chicken Wrap and Potato Salad

THIS IS THE BEST FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD. I am not exaggerating. My husband and I stopped here after our hike at Hanging Rock State Park. I saw that it had good reviews and it's one of very few places around so we decided to test it out. The man taking our order was so incredibly friendly. The food came out so quick too. My husband got the BBQ chicken wrap that was on special. It was chicken, bbq sauce, ranch, lettuce and tomato in a wrap. It was absolutely amazing. I got Yogi's sub which was smoked Turkey, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and Italian dressing on a hoagie roll. It was incredible. Their potato salad and pasta salad were both super good too. They had cookies and brownies at the front counter too which were very tempting but I abstained. I am seriously considering driving back the 2 hours to Danbury just to eat here.

Solid sandwiches to consume after hiking at Hanging Rock. It is very close to the park entrance. I like their bread.

My husband and I ordered in the restaurant, but they do have a digital drive thru for online pick up orders. We went a little after noon and the line was somewhat long, but the staff worked quickly to make their way through everyone's orders. I created my own Grains Bowl with half saffron basmati rice, half supergreens, traditional hummus, half grilled steak, half roasted vegetables, fiery broccoli, fire roasted corn, avocado, tomato & cucumber, Persian cucumber, shredded romaine, crumbled feta, and Greek vinaigrette (on the side). I also got a side of the hot harissa pita chips. It took maybe 15 minutes from when we entered Cava to when we sat down with our food. The food was fresh and blended well together. It was my first time trying the steak and it was absolutely delicious. I loved the pita chips too. I was a little hesitant that they would be too spicy, but they weren't at all. They were crunchy, warm, and with a hint of the harissa flavor - which was perfect to me. Pita chips feel like a must now with all Cava entrees. Restaurant was clean, bright, and buzzing with activity. The staff were friendly, but very concentrated on making sure everything was correct. The line to order was to the door when we ended up leaving. Parking is not an issue here because it's in a big shopping center. Cava is my go to place in Greensboro, so I'm excited it's closer to home now. Everyone should go show Cava some support and expect to be patient since the employees are brand new.

I liked seeing nutrition info per ingredient instead of a vague general range on the menu board. It's bright and clean, but it can get busy, and seating can be limited.

All of the employees we encountered were very friendly. Ally was our server and was AMAZING. We told her it was our first time there and she gave us some great recommendations. They also made a really good margarita and I am not typically a fan of traditional margaritas. The food and drink recommendations she made for the table were great, and the onion rings are definitely the best ones we've had in the area since relocating here. Both sandwiches we had were great. The Chicken Philly had a little bit of a kick to it, which made it a nice change from usual Philly sandwiches and the Cuban was different from a traditional Cuban as it had some barbecue sauce on it. It was a little different for me at first, but I ended up really liking it. Both salads were pretty big and both people really liked the salads. The person that got the blackened grouper Baja salad thought that the grouper was fabulous, seasoned perfectly and loved the salad overall. This will definitely be a place added to our usual rotations...

Great casual atmosphere, the staff have really come into their own, and the food is simple but has little touches that often make it a small cut above most other sports bar type places around. My favorite things to order are the smashburgers, chicken philly (almost as good as the one at Old Town, a restaurant also belonging to this same owner), and now the fish and chips. I decided to get those last night, and the fish was two good size thick cod filets, fried and breaded perfectly. The fish was flaky and tender, the remoulade it came with really elevated it, I'm glad it was not plain tartar sauce (gross). The appetizer favorite here is the pulled pork nachos for me, otherwise, we usually just get meals. If I had one small complaint, it's that the tea is usually brewed pretty weak. Steep it a little longer, and you've got me fully hooked.
