Have eaten here a few times and always to forget to write a review...I guess because it is always a solid place! There is something for everyone at this place. Burgers are good, pizza is solid bar pie style, and sushi apps were great. The desserts were awesome! Great with kids and tons of TV with sports on too. Tried to sit down and get food and drinks and we were refused drinks because our ids were "fake" asked them to scan them and even offered a second form of id which was my passport id and got still refused. small place for Karaoke 2/26/25 I got sick from a non-alcoholic drink at RR. main problem , I came to bar K near stage and asked for a sprite they asked me if I wanted a seltzer I said no. I got a tall glass of something, sparkling ,as I drank it I noticed it burned as it went down my throat. I drank about 1/6 of the tall glass and kept getting this reflux that burned. On the way home felt sick nauseous . I was told it might be acid reflux but It kept coming back to me for a week and my throat and stomach was still soar. I started to imagine that perhaps they cleaned their glasses with ammonia or maybe they though I was gay so they put pepper spray in it.( Just my imagination) . We stopped here for a drink before visiting friends in the area. There is a large parking lot. This is a great place to go if you want to watch some sports games. There are so many TVs. I really liked how there are two island bars in the middle of the place, which means plenty of seating. They had a large cocktail list, but nothing that really interested me. I was going to order one and then the bartender said that it normally gets sent back because it is too sweet. I appreciated the honesty, because I do not like sweet drinks. Instead I ordered the lavender lemonade, but it tasted like a spa, way too much lavender. We ordered a pizza, which was extremely thin and really tasty. read more

EXTREMELY DANGEROUS FOR PEOPLE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES. I have a deadly tree nut allergy, so I made the waitress aware of it, and then they brought my meal out with pine nuts in it. I asked the waitress if it was pine nuts, and then the kitchen manager came out and claimed that he did not know that pine nuts were tree nuts. And then he said "well I consider myself a very smart guy, but I guess I'm still learning every day." This dude should not have a job in a kitchen, especially if they are going to show such gross negligence. This isn't a minor mistake; it is a life-threatening lack of basic food safety knowledge. If you have an allergy, do not trust this establishment with your life. Hubby and I were taken here by his sister and brother in law to celebrate their anniversary on a weekday afternoon. I had been there before with my son and grandson, and we decided to sit outside on the deck watching the boats in the river. Great location in the shade with the view didn't disappoint. The Management staff did not handle it correctly. We did nother to entice the individual and he approached us three times. Disgraceful. Like something you would see on Bar Rescue! Visited on Friday 9/13 around 5 pm. Among the worst service I've encountered in quite some time. My wife and I drove 30+ minutes from Red Bank because a band we like was playing and we wanted to enjoy some food, drinks, and tunes while seated outdoors on the river, only to be treated like assholes (completely unprovoked) by the rude and discourteous staff. Almost everyone who works here seems completely miserable, and I suspect it must be the result of incompetent management who is either disrespectful to their staff or who doesn't care that they have staff who disrespect customers. First, we were dismayed to learn the band we came to see was playing INSIDE, on a beautiful late summer early evening - but that's only the tip of the iceberg, and wouldn't even be a factor in this review had everything else gone well. Next, we go inside, walk all the way to the front (after entering from the side/rear) to be "greeted" by a hostess who seemed slightly annoyed that someone was inconveniencing her by making her do her job. She seated us on the outside deck, sandwiched between two tables who had multiple small children. We went back inside a few minutes later and politely told the hostess we did not like our table and wanted to move down to the other end, closer to the outdoor bar area and not near so many small children. First, she argued that nobody was serving in that section, and after pointing out to her that was clearly not the case and there were multiple tables open, she continued to argue by telling us there would be kids no matter where we sat. Frustrated, my wife finally said "never mind, we will sit at the outside bar, there's no kids at the bar, right?". We have nothing against children, but we wanted an adults night out and don't expect to have to deal with other people's loud children running around (when we didn't bring any children ourselves) when going to a place that operates in large part as a BAR and nightlife spot, and we are spending $200 on food and drinks. The least the hostess could have done was accommodate us when we told her where we wanted to be seated. We proceeded over to the outside bar, where we sat down on stools with the sun beating down on us and club music blasting us out from the giant speakers on the stage behind us where live music should have been. After about ten minutes of being blatantly IGNORED by two seemingly angry bartenders (one who spent the whole time counting out money with the manager), we got up and left. Unfortunately, we didn't have a sip, a bite, or hear a note so I can't review on the quality of food or drinks this time, but based on our most recent past visit, it was barely above mediocre. The pizza was decent but it's definitely not worth being disrespected. There are too many other great restaurants, bars and pizzerias in central NJ to put up with this nonsense. Food was excellent but the management is horrible Our waitress was good it was Saturday night 80 degrees during the day and then 7':30 at night they turn the Air conditioner up so high it was freezing in there the door was wide open and the temperature dropped outside I complained but the Manger didn't even care word of mouth is the best and I'm sorry but my self and other will not be back. Even though the food was good they brought Mr out a teaspoon to eat my soup and brought the wrong hamburger out the first time and the Manger didn't even care if you are not interested in your customers there will no longer be interested in you. I called yesterday and inquired about reservations for the dueling pianos on Sunday which is on your calendar of events ! ( looks like it's posted for most Sunday's !) was told no reservations for weekends. We showed up with a large party looking forward to dinner , drinks , and enjoying the dueling pianos ! We were told by the young girl at the reception desk that you haven't done that in months . When we inquired about wait time for dinner and drinks she advised us she couldn't give me an idea . Sitting here at the moment, Friday night just wishing they would have used the money they spent on a renovation to hire enough staff. I say that looking at tons of empty tables and now at the end of our service still a handful of empty tables. Maybe some food/drink runners and by all means some busses. Watching our server with a crazy section size try to keep up while trying to patiently wait for a draft beer while our table is filled with dirty plates. So I have been delaying writing this, but I think it's due. I went to river rock like usual and ordered tacos. I mean, the picture speaks for itself. It was horrible. The taco shell was almost impossible to eat. It was hard and not chewable. The meat was definitely old and so chewy. And what ever slop they put in that little cup they could have done without. So that was just the food. Now to the service. These bartenders that work there (not all of them but most) are probably the worst with customer service. The one brat came up to us took the drink order and took her another 30 min to come and take the food order. Then she doesn't even smile or even pretend to be pleasant. They pick their "favorite" customers to tend to and ignore the rest. By favorite I mean the guys they think are hot that they don't for a drink but instead get a huge tip from the guy. This bartender never checked on us after the disgusting food was dropped. The only time we had someone come up to us was to close out the check because of shift change. She didn't even notice that we had already handed the other bartender the check. If you don't want to treat everyone the same then do something else. Now to the check. We ordered 1 beer and 2 orders of the tacos. It came out to $25 because of football specials. Now at this point we had enough. I gave them $11 in cash and a card. She didn't even bother to ask me any questions what was what. She comes back and all I see is that she ran the whole check and kept the cash. I asked where the cash went to and why she ran the whole check and not half. She said oh I'm sorry I didn't even bother looking. I just sat there and took in what she said and I was just dumbfounded. DIDNT EVEN BOTHER LOOKING OR ASKING. I'm a local unfortunately this will be the last time I eat there. Do better river rock and staff.. Do better! read more

What is excellent find, the food was very good. We ordered a ton of appetizers and just hung out on the deck drinking. The drinks are strong and the food is tasty. I'm not much of a boat or marina person. But it was very cool to see the boats going by and people pulling up to the restaurant by boat. It's got a lot of shade, and very busy scene inside.
