My husband and I spent Thursday - Friday April 28 -29, 2026 at River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The day of our stay I got a text message asking to pre-register, which I did. Upon arrival we were told I'd get a text shortly when our room was ready. We waited at the Margaritaville Bar down the hall from the front desk. The male bar tender was friendly and made a great Bloody Mary. After our drink we returned to the front desk asking about our room. I was told the pre-register didn't go through for some reason, but our room was ready. She didn't know why we hadn't been alerted. Why bother if pre-registration doesn't work? Valet parking is free BUT you need a bellhop if you want your bags brought to the room there no wheeled luggage carts. He did bring our bags to the room but wasn't amiable. I still tipped him. Our large nicely decorated 2nd floor room had a king size bed and wall of windows overlooking the Arkansas River. Huge bathroom with tiled shower, vanity outside bathroom for makeup application, small refrigerator and coffee maker. The larger main casino allows smoking while Margaritaville casino is smoke free. Both have a good variety of slot machines, but we preferred the non-smoking Margaritaville. Their bar and restaurant are closer to the front desk/lobby also. We returned to the bar for a drink before dinner. Our previous male bartender was ending his shift, so a female bartender asked about drinks. We ordered two paid for them and relaxed while talking. She came back and took the cash in front of my husband off the bar. We tip, but that was money for another 2 drinks. She never asked if it was a tip she just took it. My husband was upset and stood up telling her you just made me mad and left. She asked why so I told her she'd taken the cash, and it wasn't a tip. She said I can fix it, but I told her she messed up and it was too late to fix and left too. We went directly to the Margaritaville Restaurant next to the bar, were greeted and seated in a booth by friendly staff. We ordered Margarita's and looked over the menu. Since the bar fiasco we weren't very hungry. We ordered two appetizers Ahi Poke Nachos and Drunken Shrimp Skillet. Nachos were our favorite; Drunken Shrimp Skillet was ok. Food was good service was great. The next day we went to Fireside Grill off the main casino for lunch. I ordered the Meatloaf Sandwich, he ordered the Goldrush Burger both came with fries. The meatloaf was very good, but the bread was too thick and crispy for my liking. I wish I'd ordered the meatloaf entree. Our young waitress was nice but definitely needs more training making trips to and from the table without taking dirty dishes or bringing coffee for refills. She was pleasant and trying her best. We used all the coffee pods in our room, so I called the front desk requesting more coffee and cups also. We never got them. During our two days I didn't see any cleaning people on our floor usually I just ask them for more coffee pods. At the ice machine down the hall there was a half-used water bottle that remained there our entire stay. The room and hallway were clean, but if you ask for coffee, cups or anything it should be taken care of. We won't go back. From the bad experience checking in, lack of attention to coffee requests, our very first stay left us feeling invisible. There were good staff, but not enough of them to make up for what wasn't taken care of. We chose this hotel due to a close proximity to the Looney Bin Comedy Club since we had tickets for a program there. We liked the Comedy Club but we'd choose another hotel if we return. read more

My friends and I visited here for our Spring Break away from home. We've been working really hard the past couple years for our degree so I decided to treat everyone to this stay. I called ahead of time to make sure the pool was open because the pictures are what drew us in to begin with. The person that took that phone call and booked our stay told me "The pool is open, there is just no staff working the pool area. Drinks can be obtained by walking up to Margaritaville form the pool." I was the first one to arrive at the resort and I immediately walked to the pool to scope it out. Ghost town. No furniture, no cushions, no TV's, no activities. Just dirty and empty (during Spring Break). I ran into multiple couples throughout my stay that were ultimately "tricked" by the information we were given about the pool as well. The stairs to Margaritaville to grab our drinks were even closed off with yellow tape. I walked through the hotel, up the elevator and to Margaritaville to grab dinner and a drink. I asked if I could sit on the patio. The said "yes". However, the doors to the patio were locked. When I asked why they said "because the manager said it was too windy" Winds were only 7mph at that time- less than a breeze. There was a time, even, that after being rushed by multiple people at Margaritaville to order before the kitchen closed security approached someone from our group about their outside drink. Which was totally fine with us, we didn't know better but we tried to order before walking her drink back up to the room. They denied her requested and personally walked her up to the room for her to dispose the drink. We had a child with us and this was embarrassing and inappropriate. AFTER all of this they continued to hover over us. The restaurant staff and security. The restaurant forgot to give us our food that we ordered to go so we ended up waiting there for quite a while and the security asked my friend to empty her purse of her closed shooters. We were going to an event after dinner where yes, shooters are acceptable. I talked to a friend of mine from Oklahoma and said this can be normal behavior for casino's, but we did not know better. We are not from this state and we just wanted to have a fun carefree time during our break from school. I hated that we had a child with us to witness this. I felt tricked and lied to along with other guests at the resort. I felt embarrassed that I was the one to book this stay and my friends got treated this way. There were staff I had talked to that were so sweet that I had no problem with by the way. A lot of them were very friendly. The only ones mentioned above caused us any stress. read more

River Spirit Casino is not only spacious but also beautiful. There are several dining options available including Fireside Grill, 5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar, Margaritaville Restaurant, and my favorite Ruth's Chris Steak House. There used to be a buffet which has became a sports bar. River Spirit Casino also offers 4-star hotel accommodation, a spa and salon, 2 gift shops, a convention and meeting center, and the Cove Theater. The Landshark pool bar is my favorite but it's reserved for hotel guests only. With so many amenities available in one place, it's difficult to not choose River Spirit as the destination of choice for casino excitement in Tulsa. Just beware it's for entertainment and not for winning. River Spirit Casino might be one of the worst casino for the latter. read more

They have a fantastic selection of bars and drink options throughout the floor. It's also just a pleasant place to walk around and take everything in. I did not have high hopes for a casino hotel but I was impressed with River Spirit! The rooms were very nice and I loved the big shower and spacious bathroom. The lobby and casino were very clean and the music selection in the lobby was great. I loved the parking garage being connected to the lobby and the walking trail along the river was wonderful. Last few days I stayed in River Spirit casino hotel. 1) hotel is very nice, super clean and modern like Vegas hotel. 2) The casino is pretty nice, not that big like Vegas one. Definitely could have some fun there. 3) there is some free fountain station, that you could get free soda or ice tea. Though, the cup they use is 3 inches high, basically, they don't give large cup. But it is ok, if I am thirsty, will get something to drink, it is free. 4) my friend play some gambling game in "Table", fun. 5) went to eat in 3 of their restaurants, pretty good. read more

We booked a quick trip for the hubs birthday so we could enjoy the pool and some relaxation. A two night stay in the casino was just at $600 and being in Oklahoma that's pretty high. You would think we would have had amazing housekeeping and service. Nope. We left the room 10am to go to the pool. Around 1 I came back up and the room still had not been cleaned. (the housekeeper that was one door down from our room when we left was now two doors down. 3hrs later) I let her know we were going to be gone a while longer so she could go in our room anytime. When we came back at 430 she had her cart still only two doors down and our room was still untouched. We never got fresh towels, restocked water or coffee bar or a bed straighten. When a person books a getaway they should be able to expect something better than this. Overall, especially in the area of customer service and engagement I would say Riverspirit gets a big fat 0. read more

Used to get comped rooms, AFAIK I'm still in the middle level of the players club. It had been 6ish months since I had been there so I paid for two nights and gambled $5k and a month later I can get free concert tickets but no room. I can't go to a concert till 10 PM then drive back home I live too far away for that if I were to drive up and then leave after the concert I wouldn't stay and gamble. Doesn't make sense. It's ok Winstar and Choctaw send me plenty of free rooms, the disappointment is I like the concerts and the casino. I guess they don't need my business anymore. Mark (male front desk supervisor) assisted us from the day we checked in to the day we checked out. We appreciated his customer service during our stay. Room was clean and as pictured. Walked around outside a little . Even though the pool was closed, it was still a spacious area. Pool seemed to be a nice size. There's cabanas available right next to the pool. The gym is clean and bigger than your average resort gym with a variety of equipment. We didn't utilize the casino at all, but I did see a non-smoking section. read more

I'm not a gambler by any means and just so happened that I was here for a work event. Staff - extremely nice and everyone I passed by would usually say hello. All the bartenders were quick to get drinks out to everyone even though I don't think they were ready to deal with a group as large as us. Rooms - they were spacious and well designed. They were bright and the views either overlooked the river or you could see downtown. Food - There is a Margaritaville, Fireside Grill, and Ruth's Chris onsite. Casino section - like I said, I don't really gamble but this place is mainly slot machines. I did see a few craps tables and other table games so might be good for those that like variety. Other things - gym is small but has what you need. There is a spa downstairs so definitely check it out. The gift shop had some great things! No gum though. The elevators may be the worst thing there. When they stop, you feel it drop. I started getting nauseous on it when you had multiple stops. read more

We've been to River Spirit Casino numerous times for various concerts and events, and I have to admit, that in almost every case, something happens that makes me swear I'm never going back. In no particular order: During a concert, we dined at Ruth's Chris, and The Wife wanted to take some of her steak home. They wrapped it for us, and off we went to The Cove, only to be told "No outside food permitted". Outside food? We were just down the hall... So that sorta rubbed me the wrong way. Another time, after a concert, The Wife wanted to hit the slots. I dropped a $20 into one, and after the first spin, the machine screwed up and it was AN HOUR.... I timed it.... before they could credit me back my money. By that time I had lost whatever interest I had in playing games. Most recently, The Son and I went to the Three Dog Night concert. We'd left plenty early so we wouldn't have to rush, and it was storming, so we knew we'd need extra time for the drive in. We pulled up to valet parking only to be told that due to the weather, valet parking was suspended. What.The.Actual.F? So we were told to go around to the parking entrance and park in the garage. Of course there's already a looooooooooooong line of people waiting to get in, and we ultimately wound of being forced to park on the roof. The entire trip up the winding drive, we kept seeing plenty of parking on lower levels that was just cordoned off. We arrived to our seats with about 4 minutes to spare. No explanation, no nothing. It's apparent that RSC has a lot of work to do with regards to the Customer Experience. Honestly, the only time I go there now is of the entertainment option is there. And I gear up to be annoyed by something before the night is over, because statiscally speaking, it's gonna happen. read more

While in town for work I swung by on a Sunday night to play in the NL Poker tourney. The poker room is a decent size and clean. All dealers I dealt with were nice and on their game. I played in the NL tournament and had a good time. The cash games at the Hard Rock played faster if you are into that kind of thing. We stay here at the hotel. We bring the kiddos so they can enjoy themselves at the MargaritaVille Restaurant, my youngest enjoys the volcano eruption show. When the buffet was open before Covid, it was amazing for everyone in our family. The bbq, prime rib, sides, and salads along the dessert options were on par. We truly miss the buffet. There are other restaurant options though. We have yet to try Ruth's Chris, but it's on the list a'dos. Plenty of gaming machines, you'll find that one machine and hopefully luck hits you all. Sure enjoyed the complimentary plays and stays. We do bring the kiddos! -restaurants and pool are family friendly. I'm not sure the upscale portions of the casino. If you do like some Native American gifts, the gift shop has a lot of unique impressive items. I wish I have bought one of their southwest designer handbags!! So far everything is good! Checking in no problem.. valet parking not available.. so I had to walk a distance from parking to main hotel. They are checking temperatures and wearing mask. I have never been to a casino that the bathrooms are dirty. The machines are extremely tight. You have staff walking around in suits. All over the place but there's slots are ridiculous. I don't even know why they call themselves a casino. We have covered this whole casino and once again played so many games to try so many different things and out of 6 people not one person one anything over 100 bucks Really River Spirit get it together. This is a very nice casino. I went to see boys 2 men and it was so much fun . I wish the prices on the regular drinks and concession stand were a lot cheaper. Please get better seating as well . The stadium was very outdated and hard to maneuver when people are sitting down in the very tight rows . I love the variety of artists that you are able to get to perform. We are frequent "stay-cationers" at this casino. I have never had an issue with the cleanliness or quality of the room. One stay, we did have a power surge while coming down the elevator, and when we mentioned that upon our checking out, the front desk was unconcerned, just explaining that there was a power outage, and that's why the elevator went haywire. It's not like we were asking for anything, at the time, we didn't know there was a casino-wide power surge, so we were sharing it just in case they had a malfunctioning elevator and needed to know about it, but a "thanks for letting us know," instead of "yeah there was a power surge a few minutes ago" would've been more appropriate. As for the casino, it's just like any one of them. It is hit and miss. I always encourage reviewers to leave their reviews unbiased whether they won or lost. They are strict with the current covid-19 precautions, EXCEPT for social distancing. I really wish that they would have every other machine off, rather than removing a lot of chairs, because what happens is that another player will still sit right beside you, or stand, if they want to play in your area. The housekeeping staff is trying their best to clean immediately after customers leave a machine. Masks are required while walking around, to enter the casino, etc. They are not required once you sit down at a machine to play. They are not required in their restaurants. I still wish that this casino would work harder toward clearing out the loiterers. There are people that are there every single day, for hours, sitting and doing nothing and staring the other players down while charging their phones in the bar or along the sides, cruising the casino and cashing out change left in machines, and looking for money on the floors. In the Margaritaville side, there is a bank of machines right in front of their player's club desk that constantly has shady people playing those penny machines, for a penny, and lord forbid you light up a cigarette around them...it's instant "do you have a cigarette?" time. I've seen it happen, almost instantly when someone lights up in that area. Fortunately, I haven't had anyone ask me for money or try to sell me something in a long time, so they must be working on that at the security level. Also, I sure wish the buffet would reopen. They cut the hours at RainBay cafe, and now they're not open until 4 p.m. My mom and dad always enjoyed having lunch there before they played when it was open at 11 a.m. Rainbay Cafe seems to have changed management, and the experience we had since the 4 p.m. change was not positive. My mom and dad purchased coffee and mountain dew. This cost them $2.00 a piece, and dad was told they don't serve coffee (they did before), and then when he said "okay, Mountain Dew", they said okay, BUT, neither mom nor dad got served the drinks that they paid for. The food also seemed completely different. Mom's hotdog was inedible. The chili was greasy and separated, and cool, as her cheese hadn't melted on the hot dog. Anything that I've reported as negative in this review is why I have given them an overall 4 star rating. read more

*ATTENTION!* THE TOILET BACKED UP ON ME! I will tell this with every detail possible. I was about to leave and go home. I'd had a nice visit, that is, until the misfortune floated upon me. At the casino no less. I decided to go to the restroom before driving home. Not that the drive was long, rather than, I didn't wanna be dancing to make it once I arrived home. When I entered the restroom, I immediately noticed that one side of the complete circle (oval shaped actually) was barricaded off and inaccessible, and "Closed for maintenance", the sign said. So entering on the other side about 3 stalls in I saw an employee, her back facing me, working. To which I asked, "Is this bathroom alright to use?", and she replied, "Yes. Go ahead.". I went down about 4 stalls, so she could continue cleaning toilets, and avoid my task, being interrupted. As I used the facilities, I kept hearing, bubbling from multiple toilets, including my own. As I was finishing up. I reached over and was grabbing some tissue, when all of the sudden I felt water touch my butt cheeks! I stood up immediately and looked at the offending toilet! Only to be more shocked and disgusted by what I saw. Chunks of tissue in brownish water. I hadn't wiped myself, nor had I defecated. So, someone else's nasty, germ infested, possibly disease ridden, toilet water touched my butt! Then afterwards I had to explain myself not just once, but 4 times in total, and still have to call someone else in the morning. Whilst explaining myself to the MOD (Manager On Duty) acted completely oblivious to my problem. Then treated me like I was only standing there at that moment to inform him of the issue in the bathroom. To which he thanked me for. No apology was given and treated dismissively. Then once I returned to my home and washed myself off I called and had to retell my issue 2 more times. Needless to say I feel disgusting and disgruntled. AND! My issue hasn't come to an end. I still have to call someone in the morning.... NEVER GOING BACK! read more

With that said, the rooms were clean, well decorated and quite nice! I fell in love with the shower The conference floor was awesome! They are up to date on electronics with automated signage, very open flooring/spacing, and plenty of conference room space for workshops! The staff was friendly and helpful! I had some issues with reservations and the staff were helpful and troubleshooted to my benefit and lowest cost. All staff was accomodating!
