The first time I went to them was for an underbody coating for my Lexus. Service seemed ok until I did my oil change and noticed the underbody coating overspray all over the engine. I thought it was an oil leak until I wiped it down. They didn't bother to tape up areas that didn't need the undercoating. I recently took my truck to get an alignment there. I explained the front wheels with a positive camber setting and asked for them to correct it. They called me twice and I explained that was what I wanted corrected along with the toe settings. I pick up the truck and the camber settings weren't corrected and was advised some trucks can't be adjusted. Mind you, I just replaced the front and rear shocks on the truck myself the prior week so I know where the camber adjustments are. I drove the truck for two days and called them back and explained the issue wasn't resolved and explained that just because the settings show green and within the tolerances, doesn't mean it's ok. Seems they entered in alignment data close enough to where the tolerances would be green just to finish the job early and still get the flat rate. They didn't seem to want to correct the camber so I just said thank you and I will find someone else to fix the problem. Nice job guys! I won't be returning for further services nor will I be recommending your services to others. read more

These guys and especially the owner York are fantastic to work with. I have had them do extensive work on my 1991 BMW M5, 2011 BMW 335xi, 2003 Audi TT, and 2020 Ford Shelby GT350. They have done everything from pulling and reinstalling rebuilt engines, differentials, chasing electrical gremlins, repairs engine faults that other dealers wanted thousands to do. I would stay away from this place at all costs. Thus far, this has been the worst car repair experience I have ever faced. I brought my car in because it was stalling, and from my research online I thought it might have been a TOB. I carefully advised York, the owner, and one of his mechanics, Tyler, to diagnose the issue before dropping the transmission. BECAUSE WHY WOULDN'T YOU????!!!!!! I even suggested that they have a peak through the one of the service flaps. They didn't find any issues but proceeded to drop the transmission and replaced the clutch without my knowledge. All other shops would at least get your consent before doing a big job like that because it will be costly. On Saturday, they decided that they will finally attempt a diagnosis after the problem of stalling still existed. I ran all over town, spent an additional $200 on the front O2 sensor and the rear O2 sensor as they advised. Problem still existed. Monday, good luck getting a hold of York, he will not pick up and have his daughter write up invoices that were nearly double what York quoted me. I finally got a hold of the receptionist and asked her repeatedly if the stalling issue has ceased. And she said it was ready to be picked up. (Which it wasn't) It was really aggravating and frustrating to speak with her because obviously she wasn't updated on the situation or were fed those lines by the owner himself. Once, I got back to the shop I told York the problem still existed and at that point I walked around my car to the passenger side and found that it had been scraped. There was still red paint residue left over. It's been a week and I still don't have my car back yet. I still do not know how my car was damaged. But I know York did it cause he said he took it out for a test drive. To sum it up, they do poor work and are very dishonest! Who knows what else they did to my car! I am pretty sure they won't even file the insurance clam to repair the damages and just try to buff it out themselves. AND I KNOW HE TRIED TO COVER UP THE ACCIDENT BY PARKING THE CAR IN REVERSE. THERE WAS ALSO A RED AUDI WITH DAMAGE RIGHT NEXT TO WHERE MY CAR WAS PARKED! GENIUS! I read the other negative reviews too which were pretty accurate. A six hour job turned into one week and there is no communication at all. And I created this Yelp account just to voice this review and warn you guys. 5/5/15 Update: Got my car back same symptoms. Ultimately, I'm not mad. People will try to walk all over you but you just have to keep your head up. In the service industry, it's all about taking care of people who come to you for help. Provide you with prompt quality service and do good honest and fair work. This place didn't do that for me. LOG YOUR MILES! THE OWNER YORK PUT 50 MILES ON MY CAR OVERNIGHT AND HE DID NOT HAVE MY CONSENT TO DO SO. More issues today, they probably didn't properly support my engine when they took out my transmission. my passenger side engine mount is shot! 10/7/2015 Update. More problems found. Recently, my car started leaking some sort of oil. I have it at another shop now and it requires an extensive engine rebuild. My current shop took the motor and tranny apart. Found more issues from River West's clutch job they did on my car. One of the tabs on the throw out bearing somehow broke off and shot around the bell housing. This is what caused leak. Being a visitor from out of town, I was referred by a local. The shop is a small family-owned business that welcomed me like I too was a local. They serviced my car issues right away (worn sway bars causing major "clunking" while driving over any rough road of any sort). As well as fit me in for a tranny and differential flush. Not only was the work done honestly but both the husband and wife were conversational, personable and clearly hard working with a love and passion for what they do to include their staff. I'm impressed by the quality of service and the hospitality as well as the pricing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to anyone in the area or driving through. I only wish I could be in the area any time I needed work done to my vehicles. read more

Took my car in for a tune up. Dropped it off with a full tank but it only had a quarter tank when I picked it up three days later.

I have a Volvo diesel station wagon that had an oil leak. The owner said a couple of days but a week went by and not a word. After I got a hold of him he told me he didn't work on diesel cars and told me to take it somewhere else. Then he tried to charge me storage and "inspection" charges when he didn't do anything!!! read more

Work was poor - window glass not sealed properly and part of the job wasn't done at all.
