When I called them to tow my new car, the rude guy on the phone was complaining to me that I needed a tow because he's annoyed how many people need a tow. Anyways he picked up my car before I got there and when he got to my house he drove it back and forth to just jump on and off the curb scratching my wheels up. I was going to work the next day and notice he left the light on inside the car so my battery was dead and he broke my center console. When I was replacing the battery and fixing the center console, the same driver was driving really slow down my street with no car on the back. Just kinda weird. Wife made an appointment for a tow for an am tow. They never called. She called multiple times and they said the same thing, they were very busy and would get to her later. They would call later. No call. At 730pm, I called, person still made excuses and said he will still pick up vehicle today. I asked what does an appointment mean if person gets passed up for other tows. Have had a non working box truck sitting on our property for 6+ years. Inside was mementoes from my friends husband who had passed away(several rare taxidermy items etc). Bobby was amazing as he tried to figure out how to maneuver his rig and the box truck without damaging electric lines (hanging fairly low) etc and the many obstacles scattered around our property. WOW! This is the most dishonest company I've ever had to work with. They towed my vehicle (from a park and ride, which I've confirmed isn't legal). It's unfortunate because my truck was having transmission problems and is also labeled with contact info. Instead of contacting me to see if they could help, they towed and stored at their yard with no notification. This is when the fun started. Robert, one of the owners( he was VERY proud of that, so I wanted to make sure you all know, as he told me, that he is a very successful business owner and doing really well for himself) was extraordinarily rude and unprofessional. He didn't like that I told him that I would've been appreciative if they would've contacted me when they were came to pick up the vehicle and would've appreciated the customer service. He ignored my calls when I arrived on site. The worker, Heath, said that there's a 7% tax for CC payment (also illegal). He then lied about not being able to use my Credit card( another illegal offense as they are required to take credit cards), but my bank verified 3x's that nobody was attempting to execute a transaction. The worker on site verified my registration(which he said was all that he needed) and I went to get cash( while my AAA town driver was waiting). When I returned the owner then said I needed to show him my physical corporation paperwork to verify that I own the business. This was never part of the conversation and is an absurd request. After we got past that he started checking the AAA drivers certs. Basically each time we jumped through his hoop he would call the employee on site and tell him to find something else. His goal was obviously to keep my vehicle over the Thanksgiving holiday so he can pocket another $500. The AAA driver said he was sorry for my situation and that he's never seen anything like this. He said everything that was requested was abnormal and unnecessary. He also mentioned that NO company in his 20 yrs has asked to see his certifications. Robert is by far an egotistical money hungry person and his employee isn't any better. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY at all costs. They don't know what an honest days work looks like and will rake you across the rocks until you give up or they can get more money. So disappointing. I'm disgusted to live within 20 miles of these people and I honestly pity them. I couldn't sleep if I treated people this way. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Use Steve's Towing!!! read more

This towing company has an agreement with my apartment complex. I get off work today to find someone else's car parked in my parking stall. This illegally parked vehicle doesn't have a parking permit and Rivera's towing company doesn't want to come and remove the car. I called 3 times!!! One guy keeps asking me to show a lease agreement saying that is my parking space!! Nonsense and foolishness! I have a parking permit inside of my vehicle that allows me to park in my stall.
