Just had their bacon breakfast burrito, and it was really good. It had hash browns, egg, cheese and meat - a lot of meat. For a dollar more than a breakfast burrito I opted for a chorizo con huevos plate. Lots of chorizo with a higher quality flavor than I am used to. Warm spices in it like perhaps cinnamon. The meat to egg ratio was high too. The beans, rice and tortillas were fine but nothing noteworthy. I will try more here because of the great service. Swung by for taco tuesday a few weeks back. Not bad. Nothing special about the tacos but they were tasty and affordable. Small place was a bit crowded when I went in and had to wait a while but the guy behind the counter was friendly and when they came out the tacos didn't disappoint. Salsa was good and they give you a good amount of limes and throw on a few carrots and radish. Parking lot not that big but you should be able to find a spot most days. Randomly ventured to this mom and pop taco shop after seeing some very favorable reviews for it! And I was pleasantly surprised by the great food and service. All the workers were very friendly and the prices were extremely reasonable. Our order were 5 tacos and one breakfast burrito. Roughly came out to about 13 dollars. All were delicious. The carne asada was tasty, and the chicken was flavorful. The breakfast burrito was immaculate! I got it with chorizo and it was a hearty burrito, it will definitely fill you up. If you're hungry I would definitely reccomend it, and next time I will for sure give the burrito a try. Highly reccomend this restaurant, great food and friendly staff. 5/5 burritos. read more

I've been eating Rivera's for some time now and even ordered it a couple times in quarantine so far. The quality is amazing. I could taste every element on the tacos from the tortilla to the freshly squeezed lime on top. Simple delicious. I usually order the asada and the pastor tacos. The pastor tacos are full of flavor, seasoning on point. But the asada tacos are where they truly shine. The meat is so soft and seasoned to perfection. Usually some places that sell asada tacos are slightly tough or dry on the meat. Not here. They also have a little station inside with yummy salsas, radishes, and limes. Since I've been getting them delievered due to the coronavirus, I ask for these condiments on the side, and they simply amp up the flavor of the tacos. If you're looking for delicious and affordable tacos, go here. Also they have a taco tuesday deal which makes it extra affordable even though the prices are already awesome. Think twice about ordering delivery. 1st, carnitas were dryyyy af. Would have fed it to my dog if it wasn't pork. 2nd, No chili oil with birria. Would have loved some consommé too, but it didn't say consommé on the menu; so I wasn't expecting it. No chili oil though, seriously?? 3rd, their menu prices are wrong on Postmates. After I placed my order Riveras changed my bill from $12.30 to $18.32, plus delivery fee! I really don't mind a small adjustment. Times are hard rn especially for restaurants. But damn! Adding 6 dollars.. That's almost half the original price. Last, I asked for hot salsas, lime, oil, etc in notes and I still didn't get enough. I don't know how they are for dining in. Never disappoints! I always order when I'm coming home from work & I place my order through the phone it is always ready when i arrive to pick it up. The staff is always nice and respective. They have Birria plate, tacos, burritos, sopes, fish tacos and they are all fire. I have honestly tried all of their food and it's really good! Never have I had any issues or problems. I also appreciate that they have vegetarian options, my sister is vegetarian so we are always able to go together as well. I couldn't believe that someone was opening a taco shop right across from the "Taqueria", also known as Taqueria de Anda. I had to try it though. I went in and found that the people were friendly and helpful. They made suggestions and offered salsa recommendations. I tried the carne asada, al pastor, and carnitas tacos. With a little kick from the habanero salsa and some lime, it couldn't get better. I like it hot, so for me, it could have had a little more of a kick, but the meat was moist and tasty and for normal people the heat would be just fine! I'd give this place two thumbs up! Located right across the street from Taqueria De Anda, this place is definitely a huge competitor. Honestly, the meat quality is pretty much the same, but I'd have to say that the Al Pastor here is much more tender and flavorful than across the street. There are three main things that differ from here and there. This spot offers radish on the side in the sauce bar, which is a huge plus. The tacos here are cheaper, $1.25 instead of the $1.49 over there. The best part is that the customer service here is really good. Makes me want to come here instead next time as well. Two downsides are the amount of tables in the store (3 or 4 small tables) and they close early around 10pm. Other than that, give this place a try. read more

This was the first time I tried this place. After reading good reviews I decided to try it. I ordered the birria plate, tacos of asada and pastor, and 2 carne asada burritos. Let me start by saying that their birria is really good! It came with rice and beans and tortillas on the side. My Mom makes birria all the time and they really have a good flavor to their birria. My husband really enjoyed it as well. The tacos de asada were also good. The pastor was on the sweeter side and I'm more of a salty person so I personally prefer less sweet in my tacos. It had good flavor just the sweetness is not my preference. My kids ate their carne asada burritos with everything in it! My kids are 9 and 11 years old and can be picky at times but their burritos made the cut! The kids devoured them and mentioned how good it was! Great Mexican spot. Directly across the street from Taqueria de Anda. This place is definitely a gem. I came here on Tuesday, tacos are only a $1 each. You can't beat that.
