They never mentioned that during check in. I don't mind it, but I do need to know in advance and not wondering about it after 2 nights and 3 days. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, shower is tiny and only tiny trash can in the bathroom. This is a trailer room after all. My room is the smaller one where they decided the trailer into 2 separate rooms. Bigger one will occupy the entire trailer. Excuse me now, I need to empty my trash. read more

Cute little studios, but if someone walks too hard then your whole place shakes because they are on a shared deck. Most disappointing aspect was about room cleaning - or lack thereof. I was out of my room by 9am and no one serviced my room. I called to ask for more coffee and express my disappointment the room wasn't serviced and I had to go out in the rain if I wanted more coffee. The least they could do is bring some over since it should have already been there. To make life with neighbors more fun, there are huge spotlights that they can leave on all night long. The light shines right into the poorly covered windows. Either get proper, subtle deck lighting or get better light-blocking window covers. They also have terrible wi-fi!! Download anything you want to watch or listen to because steaming isn't a thing. Facebook is barely a thing with their crappy internet. I won't stay anywhere else in Napa, from here on out (and I've stayed at the luxurious Silverado Resort about four times and thought I'd never switch!) Even if we didn't get the cheap rate we did on hotels.com I'd still want to come back. Our cute little cottage was freshly painted in modern colors, modern appliances, dishes and furniture. The bed was ridiculously comfy, even better than some four and five star hotels I've stayed in (seriously). We got a one bedroom, I think because it was pretty big. I'd actually consider living here for a month if we decided to take a longer trip. Location is great. Close to both downtown and the main trails. Easy parking right infront of your unit. Free laundry for guests and little hot tubs scattered around the property. Really great place and we'll definitely be back. Downside: They put us in a cottage that had already been booked for maintenance. The heat didn't work. Instead of changing our unit (and I'm sure plenty were open), a maintenance guy came with some heaters. Luckily, he was so nice and heaters worked fine, so all was well. read more

I stayed here with a group of girls for a bachelorette weekend and we stayed in two cabins adjacent to one another. They are adorable cabins, good size for what we need it for (just to sleep in while we spend the day wine tasting all over Napa) and good amenities. However, the beds are horribly uncomfortable and the pullout couch bed is squeaky as hell. And since these cabins are essentially like little mobile homes, they seem to shake a tad when people are walking around the cabin. The air conditioning in the cabins are a bit fritzy. It would get too cold and then we'd turn it off and we would get too warm (we came in August). Otherwise, the kitchen was usable and there is a super Walmart across the street so we were able to buy things to make breakfast in the morning (since it wasn't included in our stay). I hate Walmart though. Anyway, I would come back maybe with another group or something but the beds were not comfortable. read more

My wife, son and I had an awesome time. Came a few weeks after reopening from COVID shutdown. Checkin was a breeze, all by phone and text. Unit was waiting for us sanitized. Had all cooking ware we needed and a patio furnished. Propane Gas BBQ grills thought out resort. You need to reserve time slot for pool access due to guest limits. Customer service was super friendly! They refreshed towels at request promptly. They have an absolutely free laundry facility and they even provide free detergent a softener. At the main building you can also pickup more coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and other things you need, FREE. The bed and sofa pull out we very comfortable and clean and pillows were fresh smelling and maybe new. There's a hiking trail for running or biking. Walking distance from downtown Napa and food trucks for unique food adventures. Well bottom line, we loved the amenities and how close it was to everything, Walmart is just two blocks away. Only reason it's not 5, which may not be entirely their fault, is we found several large spiders on the first day and nothing since. Napa seems to have a spider problem in general. This is a nice alternative to overspending on a hotel in napa. It's nicely located close to town and close to the main road leading up napas wine trail. The hotel itself has a fully functional kitchen, TV, and bathroom. The only complaint in there was that there were a few nails coming up in our apartment. There is a hot tub, pool, and a nice trail along the river. Overall it's a nice place for couples of families. read more

What a beautiful place and top-notch staff. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and encouraged to let them know if there was anything I needed. I got to the room (non-mobile trailer) modified to look and feel like cottage. Clean, clean, clean inside and out - which is, to me, the most important thing in hotel room. It was a BEAUTIFUL day and beautiful environment to be in. Nestled between park and river with plenty of outdoor furniture. A wide, paved, and scenic walkway along the river connected to grounds. This review is completely based on my own experience and may not be applicable to others. First off, make sure that when you're booking that you're aware of whether you're booking for a single trailer or a shared one (more on that later). When we arrive, the toilet didn't flush, but the service peeps came within 5 minutes and fix it which was a plus. The interior on these things need some work because they're actually starting to look old. On to the main point, we only stayed here for one day and heck it was a hell of a ride. We step into our trailer at 5pm and it was shaking, we assumed that maybe since it's a trailer, maybe the wind was too strong and was shaking the whole trailer. Anyways, we didn't pay too much attention to it, we just thought that it would go away in a little bit. We came back around 11pm and oh man it was shaking way harder than before. It felt like a freaking earthquake. We tried calling front desk and found out that the front desk is not available 24-7, I guess we just had to bare with it. We had all these different hypothesis about how is it shaking like this - I even thought that maybe the tree outside was hitting the trailer, how naive we were. We came to the realize that our neighbors (we had a shared trailer) was engaging in intimate marathonic activities. Guess how we were woken up the next day? At 5am sharp, it was shaking again. Recently my friend and I spent 4 nights at River Point. We visit Napa yearly and have stayed at several 4 star hotels. Although this place isn't up scale, it was clean and very comfortable. it was truly one of the most enjoyable places we have stayed. We enjoyed the deck in the morning when we had our coffee and again in the evening with a glass of wine. It was definitely one of our best stays in Napa. The staff could not have been nicer. These units are single wide mobile homes, not condos or cabins as described. While they may look nice on the surface, our one bedroom unit was old and we had constant heating, plumbing and electrical problems. First, the temperature got down to the 40's our first night and the thermostat/heat did not work. All the vents on the floor and ceiling were also completely open, with cold air blowing in from under the trailer. We covered the vents with pillows, towels, a cutting board - Anything we could find to keep the cold air out. A maintenance worker came as we were in our jammies and coats. He could not get the heat to work, so we requested space heaters, which got the unit warm enough to fall asleep. The next morning, the breaker tripped when we attempted the thermostat and we had no power. The front desk didn't send someone quickly and we had to use the bathroom to get ready for morning meetings. So, I walked around the outside of the trailer to find the electrical box and reset the breakers. Success. The power went out another three times that morning from things like using the coffee maker and microwave at the same time. That evening, the plumbing fixture in the shower got stuck in the "on" position. We had to call the front desk, which questioned if having the shower running at full blast all night was an emergency and if it could wait until morning. Um, nope. I almost forgot to mention that when the water was on, the water heater made a noise like rocks tumbling in a tin can, presumable from age and mineral buildup. The mineral rocks were probably tossed around anytime water ran through the heater. The location is great and the unit might have been comfortable without all of the problems and disruptions. The front desk was less than proactive and always questioned if the situation (no heat, no electricity, stuck plumbing) was REALLY something that needed immediate attention. This review only has two stars because David the maintenance worker was such a gem. He was pleasant and super helpful as he was called out each evening. read more

We tried to cancel our stay here because we really wanted to stay somewhere with a pool, and the pool at Riverpointe was closed. Not only did the Riverpointe staff refuse to refund our money or even allow us to reschedule, they insisted that they had informed us that the pool was closed several weeks before our reservation -- which would have given us time to cancel -- when in fact they had informed us TWO DAYS before our reservation. My daughter was miserable because we had promised her she could go swimming. I will not stay at Riverpointe again, because I do not want to give money to people who are not only greedy but also lie to their customers. read more

So it was the weekend of one of my best friends wedding, I bought them a cute cottage for their wedding night. The reviews looked great, pictures were cute and since I live in the valley I thought "this is perfect, lets give it a try." So at first I was very pleased with everything, I was supposed to get charged after they had finished their stay, but about a week before the wedding the charges for the room came out of my account. TWICE. So not only was I charged before I was supposed to be, they accidentally charged me twice. Which, hey; I get it. It's called human error. But what happened next is what really sent me over the edge. It was a huge inconvenience especially because of all the fees that I acquired with their mistake, but it was right before a huge wedding weekend. Not only have I contacted them a heap load of times, and have been told I'd get a call back from their GM Nicole and haven't heard anything, they have just been giving the absolute run around. They told me it would take about 10 days to see the refund in my account... This happened at the end of May. Somewhere around the 25th. IT IS JUNE 11th. I've been ignored, and have yet to see any refund. They are rude and unreliable. You'd think they would be a lot more accommodating since it was their mistake in the first place, that I have been ever so gracious to forgive. But it's been 2 weeks, about 6 calls later that 5 of which have been ignored and I can honestly say; do not book with them. It's a hassle. There are much more accommodating and friendly places in the Napa Valley that you could stay at and probably for a better price for what you get. read more

My Mom and I were checking in for a Mother's Day weekend getaway. Before we even got there, we discovered that they charge $60 to change the name of the person checking in... Ok, we paid the fee, because that's what we were told we had to do. I checked in, everything seemed alright, I got to our trailer (yes, it's a trailer park, there's even a hitch on the front of the units for your convenience), I took a look at our 1 bedroom "condo" and our second trailer, a regular 1 bedroom. All was good until I went to throw something away and realized that the trash hadn't been taken out from the previous tenants. I'm not an unreasonable person, I called the front desk, they apologized a thousand times, and sent someone to take it out. Awesome! Until the next morning when we called because we felt BUGS biting throughout the night, and the front desk clerk said "Oh, it's probably 'just' fleas. People bring their animals here even though we don't allow it" WTF. My mom and I were determined to have a nice weekend, so we said ok when she said someone would be out to take care of it. We got back about 45 minutes later from our run, but no one had been in there to take care of it. The front desk said that they had been very busy and were unable to take care of it (no apologies, nothing). We booked at the Milliken Inn and left. When I went to check out, she seemed surprised we didn't want to stay with the fleas, and reiterated that the front desk had been busy that morning. I apologized that they had a busy morning, and told them at least we wouldn't be there to continue to burden them throughout our planned 5 day stay. Summary: fleas with no remorse. Just came back from my stay here, definitely planning on coming back. We didn't spend a lot of time in our cottage but when we were around it was pretty cozy. Everything was cleaned and sanitized when we got there, dishes were sanitized in the dishwasher. Bedroom and bathroom were also in great shape. Social distancing is enforced, you need a mask when near other guest. The staff was friendly and helpful. Checking in was also easy, we came later in the night and we were able to obtain our keys and access to our place all through text messaging. Ice machines and laundry room are accessible, the trail for the river walk was open and really nice to go down during the day. Not too far from downtown, and about 20-30 mins drive from the wineries depending on traffic. read more

We would not have stayed here if it wasn't for our timeshare. We have points that we needed to use and this is the only available resort. We knew beforehand that it would be like staying in a mini mobile home in a well maintained trailer park. Not that there's anything wrong with that but it's something we're not normally accustomed to. But after reading all the reviews here, I thought, "could it be that they're talking about a whole different resort?" Ok, let me point out the good things first and why I feel this place at least deserves the 2 stars. LIKES: great location, close to downtown, Oxbow Public Market and the Silverado Trail, free (but sporadic) wi-fi, the entire unit's clean, stocked with towels and sheets, adequately stocked kitchenette with dishwasher and fridge. And for our DISLIKES: bedroom's cramped and has a musty smell, the entire unit needs major updating, unfriendly staff at check-in, non-existent maid service, non-existent flat screen tv, and the floor shook all the time. The (pregnant) lady that checked us in was so unfriendly. She had us sign papers without explaining anything that we had to ask her exactly what we're signing. Didn't tell us anything about any activities and/or amenities but handed us a paper that listed some basic information. The paper obviously didn't say anything about a free breakfast (which I found out after reading some of the reviews here). It was such an inconvenience for my husband to drive a couple miles every morning to Starbucks to get coffee and breakfast. It would have been great if we were at least told about the free breakfast. Not saying we won't stay here again, esp. if it's the only thing available in the area through our timeshare exchange but I will not recommend it to my friends and family. We have owned two time shares for over 25 years and only once before was I disgusted by the "resort" we traded into. 1. Fee of 11$ a day for normal resort standards. Not disclosed before booking. 2. Trailers, not cottages stated on website. 3. Trailer was poorly maintained. Cracks in walls, stove top non-op, AC smelled, they changed a filter that had to be a year old, trailer not leveled or supported properly, trash outside and behind deck/porch. 4. Staff was okay at best except one maintenance worker that apologized for condition but said " his hands are tied". Will never stay there again or recommend any of there resorts. In reality this may be a 3.75 but I gave it a 4 star rating for the following reasons. First we researched prior to booking, which is always a good idea no matter where you stay. Just remember if it says " resort " there's a fee. When you consider the freebies such as a complimentary breakfast on Monday and 3 free wine tastings on site from local wineries it's a terrific deal. When most tastings cost $10 to $20 in Napa you saved a bunch right there. The BBQ's were conveniently located and there is on site laundry facilities which was great. The facilities were nice and all of the staff were helpful and professional. Customer service is always very important to us. This is actually a time share so a lot of the units belong to owners. We met several of them when walking around and they were all very happy to have such a place in Napa. We knew they were trailers and spoke with several people that stayed there before us so we had no surprises. The location is absolutely terrific as it's right off the Silverado Trail. It made our daily trips to the wineries and other areas around Napa quick easy to get to. As others mentioned there's a Walmart within walking distance and grocery stores close by. We had a 1 bedroom and had most meals there during our week long stay. You can definitely save a lot of money by not eating out every meal. Our unit was neat and clean. We enjoyed the patio in the warn evenings. We enjoyed several walks along the river. There were a lot of joggers , kids on bicycles and families along the way. It was very pleasant. Like any public trail system here in San Jose don't go there after dark it's just common sense! As far as Wi-Fi...heck we're on vacation, unplug and enjoy the beautiful Napa Valley read more

We stayed at River Pointe off Lincoln Avenue in Napa for one night on a busy harvest weekend and were pleasantly surprised. The former mobile home park has been meticulously revamped and updated so that each "trailer" is now a mini cabin. We were offered the choice of a studio or a river one bedroom. Had we had more time to enjoy the compound, we would have opted for the one bedroom overlooking the Napa River with a private veranda and about 400 square feet of space including a sitting area, kitchenette, queen bedroom, and larger bathroom. Instead we took the studio, which was very small, however, nicely designed to include a queen bed, drawers, mini kitchentte, and small bathroom with a shared veranda. It was the shared veranda that bothered me most as the people next to us were using the table and chairs while we were there. Even with our door closed, conversations were overheard. Also, in the studio, when people in the other half of the converted trailer walk around or flush a toilet, it can be heard. My recommendation is to pay a bit more and take a full trailer on the river. The units are beautifully clean and well designed. Free wifi is included. There is a large pool and a hot tub (non functional during our stay). The grounds are very pretty and a path meanders along the river for walking. The location is very central to downtown restaurants and nearby freeway to wineries. AAA discounts available. We would definitely return for a river one-bedroom. read more

If I could give this company negative stars I would. My father-in-law bought us a week long stay. The terrible customer service started with the person we were to call bot answering emails or phone calls. Eventually we got our trip to Kawaii booked, but Covid happened. In October I had a fall and broke my knee and am using a wheelchair. We booked Napa thinking it would be a fun little get away close to home, but boy were we wrong. First off, I made very clear I needed an ADA room, but when we got there, they put us in a regular room, which was very difficult for me, then they put us in the ADA room, but blocked off parking to where there was no way to access the room with a wheel chair and told us it was fine. I'm pretty sure this is all illegal, but warning to anyone who has special needs. Do NOT even think about using this company. read more

Had another broken heater. Yep TV is old as hell and comes w a page of instructions you have to use in order to watch TV. I recently had a brief phone conversation and set up an appointment to visit their location. Unfortunately we became sidetracked and could not make the appointment. While we felt bad because we made a commitment other matters required our immediate attention. This really was not an issue until we were harassed via telephone until almost 9:30pm. When we returned home from work there were a dozen missed calls on our cellular phone and a number of missed calls on our home phone. No messages were left but we could hear their staff talking in the background. When we returned home too all of the missed calls with no messages that was a clear indication that we did not want any involvement with this organization. This was made even clearer when we would have two or three calls to our home phone and then calls immediately to our cellular - one after another without a message. And when I finally picked up and asked that they not call my instructions were ignored and they continued to call as if we were on their speed dial. I came here for a Napa Valley vacation trip with 4 people in a single room. My sister and I shared the pull out couch, which was awful! It was such a thin mattress and it was impossible for us to get any sleep. Any movement echoed throughout the room. The walls are super thin. The rest of the accomadations were excellent and we received great service. The resort had a full kitchen and fridge, which made cooking breakfast a breeze. Laundry service is free. The best part of this resort is the river than runs right by. It is peaceful, clean and has limited passerbys. read more

They have studio rooms with a kitchenette (microwave, mini fridge, toaster, coffee maker, sink, dishes) all the way up to 2 bedroom cottages with full kitchens. There is also a path that begins at the back of the property and runs along the Napa River. It's beautiful and peaceful and great for running, biking, or walking (just a little over 1 mi., I think). The only negative is that their wireless internet-while free-is TERRIBLE. We could hardly connect to it at all in the afternoons and evenings, which was unfortunate because we were constantly changing our plans, checking maps, and looking for more great places to visit while in town. But aside from that, we loved it there. Would definitely go back. read more

I'm so shocked by the reviews!! I came here during Memorial weekend, and even though it was packed, my stay was surprisingly, comfortable. I believed they have remodeled the place. It's a little cottage home, and although it was fairly small, it was still decent. The place was neat, clean, had a kitchen, parking space, etc. They had a wine tasting session in the main room next to customer services and went thru each wine with us. Each time I left for the day to go wine tasting in Napa, my room would be cleaned by the time I came back to the cottages. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful with everything that I needed there. The website does explain what kind of place to get. And you get what you pay. I knew it would be a bit small, but I was there to have fun. It's a humble little resort. Don't judge it just yet until you've experience it. Two people that are helpful there - James and Marylin. Remember those names and they will make your stay comfortable. Tip: It's Napa. If you're planning to go drinking all day, then have a DD. Movies are in the front if you decided to stay in, and they do have a kitchen. If you feel like cooking, there are several markets near by and they do have a BBQ if you feel like cooking something on the grill. read more

Watch out for this hotel's hidden "resort fee." They hit you with it when you check out. I asked what I got for this fee, and finally the desk clerk admitted that I didn't get anything. It was just a fee that the hotel charges everyone. This is a cheaply built, moderately comfortable (bed was quite nice; bathroom is cheap plastic tub/shower) series of small bungalows located away from the rest of Napa. I checked in late and was left to my own devices to find my room. When I got there, the main light didn't work, which made it difficult to unpack. I woke up when my neighbors did because the rooms aren't soundproofed. I wouldn't go back on a bet. read more

We have only stayed here 3 times in the last 9 years this time not quit as good as the past few in the past they had really nice wine tastings but now not so great also they charge a resort fee of almost $18.00 per day our cook top in the unit was not operating correctly they are on propane but electronic ignition was not working so you had to use a bic multipurpose lighter very dangerous also the next morning I smelled gas the propane coming from under our unit I advised the front desk they did send someone to change out the gas Line the BBQ was not working when I used it but they fixed that the next day too . The TV broke the coaxed cable they did replace it and the light outside the unit was not working nothing done about that . Wow however the maintenance guy who was great during the week evening was great trying to resolve our problems could not fix cooktop. He also brought us a bottle of wine what a nice guy but the manager not so sure I truly believe staying there could have put my life at risk because of the propane leak and the cooktop issue they need to check themselves and fix issues ASAP read more

This place was a cool variation from an ordinary hotel. We stayed here for Bottlerock Music Festival, which made the prices skyrocket to about $800 per night. But it worked out well because it is more of a tiny house than a hotel room. There is a furnished mini kitchen with everything you could need (with the exception of an oven). The patio is nice and our unit was up on the river and the walking trail so it was pretty quiet. They don't clean the rooms daily since the units are time shares; but they do bring clean linens. We also took a dip in the pool and hot tub, which was lovely. Overall I enjoyed this site and would highly recommend. I took off one star because of the high cost without daily housekeeping service. read more

Was surprised both at the fact that it looked like a trailer park and how cute, welcoming and comfortable the modular homes/rooms were. Riverpointe is a fun place to stay in Napa - I consider it "glamping" in Napa. Nice condo type trailer with living room, small kitchen, very comfy bed, bathroom and awesome outside deck to sit outside and enjoy the sun. Barbecue areas with fabulous gas stoves; a walking trail by the river; and an Olympic size pool and spa facility. Yes, a dinky gym, but you can buy a $10.00 pass to a full gym very close. And the activities - Marilyn is awesome. We were there Valentine's week and had a few private winery parties to go. But Marilyn made our other eveniings awesome by having wine tasting parties for the complex. She would invite in a wine maker; they would tell you stories about wine and their personal lives you would never hear if just doing the wine trail on your own; and gave us tasty wine to drink. They were comfy seated tastings, some as long as 90 minutes. Awesome. She also arranges for lots of other activies such as food lovers walking tour; winery tours; special activities and more. And Marilyn's warm laugh and great style makes you feel like Riverpointe is a great place to spend a week. You can park you car right by the "trailer" - that felt like home. We were there in winter season so a lot of the units were gone for the winter (in case of flooding) - in the summer the park is more active. All the staff is wonderful, the place is a delight, and its fun to go to. Think of it as glamping and not high end 5 star resort and you will have a great time. Also, it grows on you. Wayyyyyyy overpriced!!! Sheets were worn out with little "pills" on them from the wear. Small room when we booked a "suite". We had to share a parking space with another unit. Reality is these are not "cottages", but actually trailers!! Almost $400 for a Saturday night in Napa... yes, I know Napa is pricey, but for a small room in a shared trailer that wiggled when you walked is not impressive. Then, upon going to the pool, I find out this is a timeshare property! What are they doing on hotels.com? Never again!! Oh, the one star was for the clean bathroom with lots of towels and the free sangria from 4-5 on this particular day. read more

I'm a bit mixed on this place. This is not the quintessential Napa Valley getaway. It's a timeshare on the outskirts of Napa city, boasting bungalows instead of rooms. Sounds quaint, perhaps. It's not. It's a bit on the cheap side, with wood veneer and simple and middling acoutrements. Keep in mind, as a timeshare, it's for families, not for those of us who retreat to Napa for a luxurious getaway and inebrieated satisfaction. That said, I was taken here by surprise, for my latest birthday several months ago, and they treated us quite well. My sister-in-law booked the room (as a surprise) from out-of-the-country (where she lives) while her husband (my brother) was visiting, and there was only one queen bed and a pullout. Because it was my birthday, it was mid-week, and occupancy was very low, they simply gave us an additional, smaller bungalow across the patio so that both of us could have a bed. It was such a generous and gracious act. Furthermore, because it was a surprise, neither my brother nor I had packed any overnight anything -- no toothbrush, change of clothes, no nothing -- they ensured we were given all of the supplies necessary so that we needn't make a run to the drug store. This timeshare isn't part of the RCI system. I don't know with whom or what one trades if one owns at this resort or whether one always only goes to this same resort year after year. It seemed an odd place to have a timeshare, in my opinion -- Napa. People generally go to Napa for food and wine, not for lounging by a pool. Whatever. It served our purposes, but I wouldn't ever have chosen it. And after being there once, I wouldn't choose it again. I can see its allure for families. The larger bungalows have kitchens, which can save people the hassle of eating at any of the fantastic Napa Valley restaurants. Again, I'm a bit lost on the allure of this being in Napa. That said, to be fair, the price was right-ish for Napa. Even for the one bungalow with the pullout couch, the price was fair -- even if the bungalow is small -- when viewed in comparison to what rooms go for in Napa. One time, my ex-girlfriend and I got a room at the Avia (now called something else, I think, as it's owned by the Hyatt), and I didn't like the cheapness of that place either. Most Napa accommodations are obscenely expensive, some despite the price still aren't that nice, and unless one is able to procure them on a promotion, they can be prohibitive. Again, we were in the low season, but the price was fair compared to the absurdity of the typical required ransom to stay in Napa. read more
