Yummy brisket sandwich lunch! Each bite of brisket is tender & flavorful. The bark is perfection. Pecan pie - delicious. And the Big Red completes this meal. There are two picnic tables to enjoy your meal onsite with gorgeous mountain views and the river running by. This Texas girl will be back to enjoy a home tasting BBQ meal soon! Run - don't walk if you haven't tried River's Edge BBQ!

I was stuck in traffic during lunch time and caught a wif of the grill. I decided to pull and see how real Texas BBQ this was - I had lived in Austin, TX for 8 years. Tough thing to advertise. I ordered the brisket sandwich with coleslaw and potato salad. They said drinks could be purchased next door but $2 for a bottle of water or $5 for more others was a bit pricey for me. I sat in my car, open the Styrofoam container and started eating. The sandwich was real good and so was the sauce. There wasn't a choice but what they decided on was the correct one. The slaw was not a favorite but I enjoyed the potato salad. I am not a fan of plastic packaging these days and I feel the price I paid was a bit much for the amount of brisket I got. Enjoyable though but I'd make sure I had a drink on hand next time.

Pulled pork sandwich, waffle fries, baked beans, brisket tacos.

This is a food truck located at the Lumpy Ridge Brewing Company, at least on Sundays. Google does…read morenot give the correct directions - when we followed them, we ended up in a random parking lot a block over. I recommend setting the GPS to the brewery rather than the truck. When we visited on Sunday after hiking at RMNP for the morning, there wasn't much of a crowd here. We ordered and the the food only took about 8 minutes to arrive. Meeker Margherita ($21) - Perfectly cooked crust in this pizza. The cornicione in particular is expertly risen and cooked, giving plenty of charred bubbles and the perfect chewiness. The undercarriage, while floppy, isn't soggy at all. It hold up very well to the ingredients on top. The crust is first slathered sparingly with tomato sauce. The sauce is reduced quite a bit and tastes almost like a concentrated tomato paste. They don't use a lot so it doesn't soak into the crust at all. On top, there's a couple of pieces of basil giving a very noticeably fresh aroma. There's plenty of melted mozzarella cheese, which seem to be of the pearl variety, mild tasting and stretchy. They apparently also drizzle some EVOO, although there's no particular peppery or fruity notes, or heck any real olive oil flavor at all. With how well all the other ingredients worked together, the olive oil is very disappointing. Still, it's a very well constructed pizza. (5/5) Panorama Peak ($23) - Again, this pizza has the perfect crust. Instead of tomato sauce, it's slathered with ricotta cheese, making the pizza very rich and creamy. More melted mozzarella on top of that for even more fatty richness, then pieces of proscuitto, chewy and salty. The meat isn't sliced that well so it's messy to eat. They then essentially cover the pizza with an arugula, tomato, and shaved parmesan salad. The arugula is super peppery and bitter, the tomatoes are fresh and sweet, and the parmesan adds more saltiness. The main sources of salt are the parmesan and the proscuitto. Neither are added in large enough quantities to make the pie overly salty. Mixed in the with the arugula are a couple of stems of cilantro for some reason. Nothing on the menu actually uses cilantro so I'm a bit confused where it comes from. It's essentially a salad on pizza dough so everything falls off the crust very easily making it messy to eat. (4/5) I'm very impressed with the food served at Mangia Mangia. I didn't expect to find such great pizza in a small touristy mountain town. I'll be back next time I'm in the area! The place is definitely small inside, but it had a nice atmosphere and the service was really good from start to finish. For appetizers, we ordered the chips, queso, and salsa. The queso was definitely different from what I'm used to, but it actually wasn't bad at all. I ordered the street tacos -- three carne asada and two chicken -- topped with cilantro and onions, plus an extra al pastor taco because I wanted to try it. Out of all of them, the al pastor was my favorite. The meat was super tender and flavorful. I wasn't a huge fan of the mango on it though; I would've preferred pineapple instead, but I just picked the mango out and still enjoyed it. My husband and I also shared a side of rice and beans. The beans were decent, although a little salty. The rice, unfortunately, was the low point for me. It honestly had almost no flavor and kind of tasted burnt. I definitely wouldn't order the rice again. Overall, the food was decent and the service was great. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to eat here again, but it was still a solid stop while spending the day in Estes.

The period of time between each time she stopped at our table was abnormally long. I have no issues being patient if the place is busy but since we were the only people in the restaurant, I don't understand what the delays were from. Tacos plate, Mexican salad and fajitas plate were tasty. Chips and salsa were fine. Don't order any margaritas or mixed drinks - super watery! Beers were fine.
