Purchased a vehicle there, i was pre approved thru my credit union. the vehicle was good, the seller had to submit some requirements to my credit union for payment. I was pleased with the purchased, went home with the vehicle i purchased my daughter and all was well until about 1 month later. I received a call from the dealership owner on a friday afternoon from the dealership stating that if i don't submit payment in full by monday that he was going to repossess the vehicle and submit a negative transaction to the credit bureau. Turns out he and my credit union were not communicating properly or seeing eye to eye. So i called my credit union and started pressing them as well until finally everything was handled and released the following week. I did NOT appreciate the sellers tone one bit or his threats of ruining my credit and repo the car! If Joseph was having issues with my credit union all he had to do was contact me sooner and i would have gladly intervened, and i did and all was resolved. I wouldn't have had to put up with the bullshit stress of Joseph's threats while i'm rigging 40 feet in the air, making sure i don't drop anything that might kill someone. I'm writing this to share my experience and hopefully help others be cautious. My family purchased a 2013 Dodge Challenger from Riverside Auto Market, and within just 7 days, the car started having serious issues. When we reached out, they refused to tow the vehicle for repairs, so we had to pay out of pocket to get it transported back ourselves and even then, we had to insist they take the car off the trailer. They kept the car for nearly 2 months and told us the issue was fixed. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The main problem was never properly repaired, and it appeared that the check engine light had been painted over rather than addressed. On top of that, the car came back with over $7,000 in repair-related issues. Car issues so severe they could have been life threatening. Crazy. This has been an incredibly frustrating and costly experience. I strongly encourage anyone considering doing business here TO LEAVE or if willing to take the risk to ask detailed questions, get everything in writing, and have any vehicle independently inspected before purchasing. We tried to buy a car here a few days ago and had a truly bizarre experience that I want to warn people about. We agreed to purchase a car and the owner required a $250 deposit before we went to get a cashier's check, which already felt a little odd. Clearly he did not trust us to return. When we came back with the check, we noticed our last name was misspelled on the DMV paperwork. We simply asked if it could be retyped because this was the paperwork that would make us the owner of the car, so we wanted to make sure it was correct. Instead of fixing it, the owner stormed in angry, yelling that if we "didn't trust him" we shouldn't do business there, and said we could either take a refund or "donate" our deposit. We were shocked because his anger came completely out of left field. We were calm and polite with our request and had done nothing to warrant his behavior towards us. Terrible experience. I would give zero stars if possible. I spent over 5 hours at this dealership thinking I was purchasing a vehicle. They took a $4,000 down payment and $300 for insurance, had me wait nearly two hours while they claimed they were checking fluids and preparing the car, and then suddenly told me the bank did not approve the loan. After taking my payment, their attitude completely changed. Communication stopped and no one could clearly explain what was happening. When the deal fell through, I was told my refund could not be processed immediately and that I would have to wait for the bank. Over the following days I contacted my bank and confirmed the payment had already cleared and that the dealership should be able to issue the refund. I was also told it appeared the dealership attempted to charge my card more than once. When I tried to resolve this directly, I was given conflicting information, told to come back in person after driving over 40 minutes, and was met with hostility from a manager who commented on my credit and hung up on me. Warning to anyone considering buying a car here -- be extremely careful. I spent over 5 hours at this dealership and was pressured to pay $4,000 down plus $300 for insurance before any paperwork was finalized. After waiting hours while they claimed they were preparing the vehicle, I was suddenly told the bank did not approve the loan and I could not get the car. I was told my $4,000 would be refunded within 3 days. Days later, I was contacted by someone identifying herself as the accountant who told me the dealership could not issue my refund and that I should dispute it with my bank. My bank confirmed the charge had already cleared and stated the dealership should be able to refund the payment. They also noted it appeared multiple charges were attempted. I made multiple phone calls and multiple trips back to the dealership, including leaving work early and driving over 40 minutes. Each time I was told the refund "would not go through," yet they refused to provide cash or a check instead. During my third visit the situation escalated and police were called. Officers stated it appeared to be bad business practices, but because it is a civil matter they recommended taking the issue to court. As of today, I still have not received my $4,000 refund. A friend of mine recently went to this dealership to do a trade-in and left with a Suburban, thinking everything was finalized. A couple of days later, they received a call saying the dealership could no longer accept their trade-in and that they now owed more money. This is completely unprofessional. Something as major as the trade-in value and financing terms should be clearly communicated upfront, not after the deal is supposedly done. It's incredibly disappointing -- not just financially, but emotionally -- especially for a family who believed they were driving away in their new vehicle with peace of mind. Buyer's beware. I purchased a truck from Riverside Auto Market and what a mistake that was. They let me test drive the truck down Van Buren. It seemed to drive well. Well, that was before I took it on the freeway when I hit 65 the truck shook violently, I literally thought I had a blowout. When I talked to the salesman he said bring the truck in to see if there was something they could do. I did, received a call a half hour later, and the owner Joseph said come pick up the truck there was nothing he could do. He said he took the truck to 80 mph and it shook a little bit.
