I wanted to wait a bit until I wrote this review to process my experience and overall, I could confidently say I had a pretty positive experience with this dealership. I drove about an hour away as i was interested in a specific car they had listed. Do yourself a favor and call to check if they have the car before making a long drive. Although, there are a few improvements that could've been made to make the experience a lot smoother, I understand this is a small/growing business and Luis and his associates put me together and had me on my way home in the car I wanted in a friendly and respectable manner. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THEM and read the other reviews!!! My dad purchased a vehicle from Carzone in June 2026, and less than a week after buying it, he started having issues. He took the vehicle back, and they supposedly fixed the problem, but unfortunately, that was only the beginning. Since then, he has had SEVERAL issues with the vehicle and has taken it back to Carzone multiple times. Each time, they have tried to charge him for repairs. On one occasion, the check engine light came on, and my dad said the mechanic simply plugged in the diagnostic machine, cleared the code, and told him he was good to go. Eventually, my dad took the vehicle to a mechanic he has trusted and used for over 40 years. After inspecting the car, his mechanic told him there are several serious issues and that it could cost approximately $6,000-$8,000 to repair. When my dad brought this information back to Carzone, they told him that his longtime mechanic was a liar. SMH. Yes, my dad absolutely should have had the vehicle inspected by his own mechanic before purchasing it, and unfortunately, he didn't. We understand that. But that does not excuse selling someone a vehicle that begins having major problems almost immediately after purchase and then repeatedly trying to charge them to address those issues. Sadly, it looks like we may have to involve an attorney in hopes of getting his money back. I'm sharing our experience because I would hate for someone else to go through the same thing. They had a 2022 Chevy Colorado listed at $20,999 so when I got there, I said give me an purchase order so I can take it to my credit union upon sitting at my credit union and I put the purchase order down and I seen he wrote it for somewhere in the area of $26,000. I called them immediately and said there's a discrepancy showed them the online listing that I had documentation of and they said oh we're sorry we made a mistake come back and purchase order when I got there. They said that there's no way they could sell it for the price that I found it online for so they're gonna have to sell it for a couple thousand dollars more. I informed them that this was illegal and they were not allowed to do that and they said I can either buy the car or I cannot buy the car totally up to me. I rarely leave reviews, but this place was so deceptive I want to protect other customers. I told Moises I wanted to see a truck and would be there shortly. When I got there, the hood was up and the vehicle was running. I wanted to cold start the car, but was unable to. I drove it to get a pre purchase inspection. At the mechanic shop, when i tried to start the car, it wouldn't run. Had to call and ask for a ride back, wasted 45 minutes of my time. Turns out the battery was dead. Moises was probably jump starting the truck before I got there. Now, a dead battery isn't a big deal, but doing all that extra stuff just to sell a car is BS. I purchased a truck from them on February 20, 2025 and on March 14, 2025 the transmission started slipping. Took it to a mechanic near my home and the transmission oil was BLACK with metal shaving in the pan. Called the warranty company and the first thing they tell me is please read your contract we only cover up to $2,500. This is something that was not told to us when we purchased the warranty. It's all smiles and oh don't worry everything is covered 100% (words out of there mouth). I understand that these are used vehicles but there is no way they inspected the transmission oil before they sold it. They would have immediately seen that the oil was bad. They said bring it back to us we will fix it without any out of pocket to you. There is no way that I am going to trust them to repair my truck. I haven't even driven the vehicle 400 miles since I bought it and it needs the transmission rebuilt. I gave them plenty of opportunity to help with the extra out of pocket that I am incurring. But according to them as of my last call to them they will not help with NOTHING. I wasn't even asking for them to pay the complete $3,000 out of pocket that I am paying. I was giving them the opportunity to help with any amount to soothe over the blow of the repair. Their claim is that the place that I took it to is over charging me for the repair. But not according to the 3 estimates that I received. At the end of the day I will repair my truck and move on but not without me leaving this review to make people aware that the warranty is NOT 100% covered as they claim to you. Don't trust the mechanics to have done a proper inspection of the vehicle before they sell them. Buyer beware at first I wasn't going to write a review but now I think I should so that you can be smart about shopping here for your next car I know when you buy a used car it as-is but this experience has been awful. Since we bought the car in February it's been in and out of this dealers shop 6 times for the same issue and not to count for the other problems like the windshield and the wipers I was promised and never got. They now are saying that they need us to drive the car 2000 miles to that it can relearn that the issue is no longer there. I'm not a master Machanic but I know that is not true. CarZone is being sued by multiple customers. They buy garbage cars and lie about the paperwork and condition of the car. They will put you in an unsafe vehicle, have you "bring the car back in" so they can "fix" it. Then they will do things like say they put new tires. But they didn't. They had the illegal undocumented guy in the back rotate your tires and crack your rims. Then you will be lied to and get gummy plugs in your tires. They will pop on the freeway and you will have your kids in the car. After that you continue to contact them, they never respond. I'm out a car and my car has a bad engine and looks to have been in a rollover. Oh and you won't have working headlights or turning signals. Which they also fixed all three times I had to bring the car back. The liftgate box they "fixed" was a zip tie. I was unable to get ahold of them at all so I stopped in. Moses tried to tell me he's just the middle man. I explained extensively how it is illegal to sell a car that is not safety compliant. All he could say was "im just the middle man". I asked why he blocked me the day my tires popped. Same response. All of you below that Also got ripped off and endangered, my attorney is fantastic. I have a car that pours oil bc their guy in the back used the wrong hoses and murdered my engine. The "warranty" Moises said was mandatory, it's not. It's part of the scam. We came looking for a truck very excited from Long beach to Riverside. We had an appointment with Moises. He was helpful showing us the trucks. Pretty cool guy. We test drove 2 trucks and decided to go with a 2015 Chevy Sil. We saw the truck and asked if it was good to be sold they said yes. They let us drive it. ( had the air sensor filter on) but Moises said it was normal. Wasn't a big deal for us because we know that when you don't drive a car for a while the sensor can turn on. Wtv... we were pushed to " write a 5 star review before leaving" the warranty that's usually optional was forced and the price of the truck went up by $2000 at the moment of signing. We agreed and moved forward. " when we left we noticed the audio wasn't working. ( no dig deal we called Moises he said to take the truck back that they would fix it.) okay, so we did. 2 weeks pass by and the trucks Engine light turns on. We were shocked so we again call Moises. He asked for us to once again take the truck so we did. They said they checked and " replaced the battery" and other "parts ". I asked what exactly was wrong and what was replaced no one could really give me an answer. They were just like trucks fixed. That was that. I drove back and for 4 weeks we were " okay" with the truck but it felt VERY weird at times. Last week my boyfriend was going to work and the truck started stalling so bad it wouldn't move anymore. THE TRANSMISSION GAVE UP. I called the dealership and The Asian lady (that usually gives you the papers to sign) answered the phone I was explaining what was going on and she was EXTREMELY RUDE. all these other reviews stating she is rude ITS NOT A LIE. She was giving the attitude and advices me to call the warrant ( the one they force on you) . So I did. The truck did have a warranty for transmission only coveres $2500. Price for transmission replacement was $4000. I called Carzone back and I spoke to " STEVE" the other manager. I was explaining everything to him what had been going on from Day 1 and he was as expected VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. To the point that he started yelling at me and called me Stupid. He said I was interrupting him when all I was doing is calling to see what was going on and why we were having all these issues with a truck they said was in good condition. Do NOT do business with this dealership. They are deceptive and rude. My experience with Moises was terrible. He was the initial salesman I met with. He pawned me off to other staff members who were not familiar with with me or the details of the vehicle I ended up purchasing. Moises was not professional, he would not return calls or text messages in a timely manner. When I spoke to him personally and told him how dissatisfied I was with the whole experience, I asked to speak to the floor manager Martin who allegedly was not in at the time of my call. I left a message with Moises for Martin to call me. Moises never relayed the message as days later I called Martin and he had no idea that I was waiting for a call back from him. I wish I would have taken my business elsewhere, this dealership and it's staff are not honorable or deserving of good people and their hard work. Keep in mind I had maintained the car myself did oil changes as should did spark plugs n coils with the fuel injectors when I got it basically a full tune up and took a dump. They gave me a 2 year warranty on the drivetrain (Alpha warranty services) but when I called them to warranty the engine they could not because they would've needed me to call and let them know every time I serviced the vehicle which they the dealership salesman or whoever did not make that clear to me so now I'm stuck with a high payment for a car that don't work. read more
