Food was so so we has a group of 5 2 of them ordered chicken tenders with fries both come out cold. We ordered 2 seafood platters. The devil's crab inside was cold. The fish and shrimp was so so nothing to write home about service kinda slow too many waitresses taken care of one table that were just bouncing around everywhere. First of all the staff is fantastic. Never an issue in the 5 or 6 years that we have been going since our local fish camp closed. It is worth the 50 minute drive from home.. The servings are huge and the meal is always hot ...and at a great price. The only complaint...is they changed the slaw and .. .OMG IT IS TERRIBLE!!!! and that is being nice No cabbage should have to endure being thrown into that mix !! Please bring back the good slaw even if you have to up the price a bit. Better to discontinue the slaw if you are going to serve that mess read more

Nothing special here folks. I took my mom here and we both left disappointed. She ordered green shrimp and they were small and breaded like popcorn shrimp which are not at all desirable and basically a waste of time. Both of our baked potatoes wouldn't melt butter, and the batter used to fry my oysters and scallops was far too salty and they were nearly inedible. We informed the waitress and she apologized although it wasn't her fault. There are much better seafood restaurants around for me to come back here. read more

I ordered the 2 item combo dinner - flounder and green shrimp. Food was cooked to perfection. The portions are so huge, all of plates were overflowing. I filled up on about a third of my dinner, boxed it up, and my son and I both ate a full meal from the leftovers today. Attentive waitress with an excellent attitude kept our glasses full and our hushpuppies coming. Only odd thing is the table size - they're comically small compared to the amount of food you get. The four of us had trouble making room at the table. Very clean dining room. Go early! We had the opportunity from our office to go to this location for lunch on September 30. We were seated immediately and our drink order was taken at that time. The waitress was very friendly, courteous and attentive. We placed our order and it appeared to be plenty of food as both of the girls at the office were able to take home some of their lunch, as portions were large, to maybe eat later. I normally just ate a salad. And I did get the salad bar, and I do have to say the salad bar does not have a large selection however it was adequate for lunch. I did have to ask for dressing as it was not at the salad bar but it was furnished immediately and their tea was excellent. We will be putting them on our list of possible places to go for lunch on Thursdays and Fridays as they have extended hours starting at 11:30 AM on those particular days. read more

This is the best fish camp hands down. We always get the 2 for $25 special and are never disappointed. Enough food for 2 people to eat twice and is always delicious. It's short an item every once in a while but when we inform them it corrected very quickly with twice the normal amount. Can't ask for more than that. read more

I order the Riverside platter. 1 piece of of catfish, 1 piece of flounder more like baby fish someone should have thrown back. 1 chicken strip and 3 shrimp. Wife has a 2 combo plate that was pitifully, The food had no taste way over fried. The tarter sauce was more like watered down mayonnaise. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Today, me, my hubby, and the in laws visited here for the 1st time. We usually eat at North star or long creek ... tonight, my father in law was adamant about going to North Star. But I'm not a huge fan , so I told him about Riverside, ( a fish camp I'd passed by the other day) We went. When we walked inside, there was a foyer waiting area, and cornhole boards to play while you wait. (We didnt need to wait tho.) We loved that idea! Went inside, and was greeted immediately, and sat down. The place was clean, and nice. So far so good! Then we got the menus and saw the prices... great prices! (I began to wonder if the food was going to be in a small amount) my in laws ordered the 2 for $22 special... it was HUGE. I ordered the chicken / Shrimp combo platter, it was HUGE as well. My 1st words were: WOW. (I'm a big girl with a bigger appetite) we all said WOW. Immediately I was very satisfied with the quantity!!! Then we all began to eat..... WOW!!!! Just ate lunch 8/24/2019. Table#8. About 1:30 Finally got a waitress. Worst waitress ever. Acted like she did not have a care in the world. No urgently what so ever. Took about 30 minutes to get fried chicken and perch. Had yesterday baked potatoes. Bones in the fillet of perch. Unsweetened Tea was horrible sooooo strong Sugar would not fix it. No refills. The last time we were in for take out they totally messed up an 80.00 order the cooks were cussing at the girls at the window and people were upset because the orders were wrong it took 2 trips to get ours almost right . I didn't eat mine because after having to run back and forth mine was cold and bad. So I called the manager the next week and told her how her staff was fussing out loud and how bad the service was and she offered to replace some of the meals I told her it was the two chicken strip meals that was what we wanted and she said something about a 2/4. Since I made it clear about it being chicken I didn't think anything else about it until tonight when we took a chance the girl who answered had no clue what I was talking about I explained that I was supposed to get 2 chicken plates care of Emily the owner since I repeated it several times I didn't think that they could get it wrong but they did they made a plate with fish and shrimp when I got home and called back I talked to the blond manager who assured me she would call me back after fixing 2 tables. It's been over an hour this food is cold and no good and I haven't heard from them I really didn't expect to really but it would have been nice. Terrible customer service and food. Ordered carry out today. Drove 15 min home and order was wrong. The ticket on the bag was correct but good inside was wrong. Called to inform them and took the good back. I was told that it is MY FAULT because I should have opened the boxes to. Heck then for accuracy. I was also told they aren't allowed to check the boxes for accuracy. Owner even Came out to confirm it was my fault I left with the wrong food. Won't be back and will spread the word read more

I order something on the menu and when the check came it was more expensive and we told the manager and she said that she could not change the price even know it said it was one price on the menu .
