He said they don't even inspect the used bikes at all and if it blows up when I leave then it is what it is. He showed me bikes with prices of $18k + and payments that were about $500. He didn't even let me test ride one before trying to rush to the finance process. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM HERE. I brought my 2021 Pan American to the shop for warranty work on the clutch. The bike has less than 10k miles on it. They said they wouldn't cover the parts since clutches aren't covered. They're a "wear and tear" part. I paid for the repair. The clutch plates and replacement parts took a month to arrive. I called several days a week for many weeks asking for updates. They assured me the bike was being worked on. I finally got it back a month and half later. I rode 200 miles with the Pan Am when I got it back before the clutch went again. I took it back to the same dealership since that's obviously not "wear and tear" under the warranty. They took the bike back in August 22nd and said they'd fix it. I had to send my keys in by mail on September 10th. I called every other day asking for updates. Ambyr, Raymond and the service staff were very difficult to reach. And the automated system doesn't let you leave messages for service. I was promised they'd reach out once the parts were sent. That was almost a month ago. They made no more updates. I left the country for a wedding and hoped they'd have the bike fixed, or at least the parts in, when I got back. I called yesterday and no one was available at the service desk. I was told they'd call back by an operator. They didnt. I finally got through to someone when I called again today. The parts still haven't been sent. Riverside has held my bike for essentially 4 months with minimal effort to keep me informed or ensure timely repairs. read more

It didn't feel great to be called an "indecisive little boy" when I called back to speak to Veronica about canceling the VIP package. Although we can agree that I shouldn't have purchased it at all... so good burn I guess. Jokes aside though, making a purchase of such magnitude for a new bike should come with a better experience, and less name-calling, especially when it felt like I let Harley take my lunch money. I also had to call a total of 5 times between 10 am and 4:30 pm before I was finally able to get ahold of her. I've never felt strung along before until this. I understand the dealership is actually busy, but I don't think I would have been as frustrated if I'd simply received a text message or a reply to the email I sent. I'm not trying to return a pair of shoes here, it's a $3000 maintenance package that can only be used at RHD. I was trying to get ahead of the process and instead I ended up feeling like an indecisive little boy. And I know it was inconvenient to cancel it, but only to me. Before that, I was stuck waiting for the sales team to finish their cupcakes and birthday celebrations for Chris. Happy Birthday Chris! But again, I felt like a nerd waiting for them to come back with another number for me to mull over for the 3rd time. A number I believe they had figured the entire time. At least offer me a slice of cake ffs! By the time I left, the dealership was closing up and I think we all just felt worn out. My manual had to be shipped to me, which Brad handled swiftly, and my bike needed a tank of gas -- which I had to pay for! Small things sure, but again, I had just spent a shit load of money so little details meant a lot. Lastly, I was told at the mention of maintenance that I would void my warranty if I worked on MY bike. What happened to Harley being a "Freedom" machine? What happened to feeling liberated and empowered on a badass, rumbling Harley? I guess that's what we get in California? Also, I found out during the test ride that new Harleys come with a governor?! What did they do to us? What even is this world?! I don't know that I can recommend the Riverside Harley Davidson to others, but I also don't think I have to. They seem to be doing just fine. But it felt like the big dealership stopped caring for the customer as soon as I said their prices were too high, and especially after I left with the bike. All in all, Bradley and Mary were awesome. Talked to John over the phone and put in for my financing online He said " You're good to go " This was a big question I had due to the 3 hr drive to their location. I was looking at a 2014 Road Glide. My friend was also looking at a bike also. John told him "I will have the bike ready and waiting for you to take a test drive when you come down." Upon arriving to Riverside Harley after a 3 hour drive We found that NOTHING in the store was priced. ONLY new bikes NO used bikes were priced. The bikes we were supposed to look at were not there. We could not tell which bikes we were supposed to look at due to the fact that all the bikes were mixed together with no pricing. So our salesperson, Steve, took us over to the warehouse. The warehouse has 10 to 15 bikes in various disrepair, such as the first thing we were greeted with, a Road King with a towel sticking out the bottom of it and a puddle of oil the size of an apple pie. We found my friend's bike( with the preview certified sticker on it) only to find that the battery was dead and it was dirty. This should've clued us in on what we had gotten ourselves into, an unprepared, lying dealership who will do anything to get their customers to come down and buy something. After 30 minutes of waiting they were finally able to get the bike started with the pre-certified sticker on it and it had a knock? How does it have a knock if it's pre-certified I said to myself. Then we went on to the bike that I was interested in I kept inquiring about the price and they would dodge the question, I can't get a hold of this person or that So I can't give you a price they said. Finally they came over and told me to fill out some additional paperwork for financing when they came back with the price of the bike and the ridiculous finance offer that they were offering me. I'm taking to consideration that the bike I was interested in also had the certified card on it When I touched the stop light where the plate was located, it was ready to fall off, there were scratches on the bag, which the salesman licked his finger and said this will rub out it's just a contact mark. I knew the depth of the contact mark. I knew that it was not going to buff out. In the sun, I was able to see more things: the tired look at the bike, the badges missing the cracks in the saddlebags, the areas where you can tell that the bike had been tipped over on both sides. I asked them do you know the condition of the bike? Have you looked at the cosmetics of the bike? Is there any wiggle room in the price? They were asking $17999 for a tired used 2014. They came back with yes we can take $1000 off making the bike $16,000 to my dismay. As I continued on with the sale trying to get a better price, they came back with an increased down and monthly, after being pre-qualified before I left home I told them this is not what John and I had discussed over the phone. I was very specific on the price I wanted, the down payment I wanted and the monthly payment I wanted. They told me John had nothing to do with it His only job was to get people in and that they would talk to him about doing things like this but nevertheless it was what it was. Riverside Harley Davidson's salesman, phone recruiter and the financing department are terrible to deal with. I came down there with two other people: my friend and I planned on driving two Harley's home and a 3rd driver to bring the car the 3.5 hours home, we decided to leave. The salesman was not very helpful, he wouldn't tell my friend when the bike's knock would be looked at by service. He did not ask him if he wanted to call after it was looked at. He did not even give me the price of the bike that I was looking at. Honestly I don't even know if that's the bike I was looking at. He never bothered to look any deeper as I asked him specifically for the bike that I had saw online. Even or 3rd driver was trying to buy a pair of gloves and he could not find a price on those. So we left. I thought Harley Davidson dealerships have to be the worst places on earth to shop for anything. And who knows maybe it was just the color of our skin yes I will throw that out there. Experienced complication during transport process and upon arrival at Riverside found myself ever so grateful for the astuteness and professionalism of the technicians and their leadership for what effectively was a root cause analysis and assessment of the transport process failure. Friends, I just want to ride. We all make mistakes. All I'm saying is the proactive awareness and knowledge base of Veronica, Will, Jarod, Anthony, Richard in Service, Richard in Parts, the Notorious DMC, Kwasahan (I know I messed up the spelling, sorry), Mikey, Josh (both awesome!), Anthony, Jae, and so sorry if I can't remember to shout out a few more of you. I just wasn't able to take other than mental notes at the time. As I shared with some in person, the service wait time should be escalated as an opportunity for continuous improvement demanding immediate attention. Yet, it is also true that I was really needing some love and comfort after towing "Homey" in for routine services feeling like being at the dentist due a cleaning and having them accidentally sawing into your jawbone with no anesthesia! Holy crap does this place suck! 1. I took my bike in for service, I was told it would be done over the weekend, and when I went to pick it up, I was told to bring it back. When I did bring it back it took 2 weeks to replace a rubber fuel hose, and it was done as I showed up to pick up my bike. 2. I bought some bags from them for $800 (similar ones were selling online for $200-350), They broke within 3 days. I went to take it in for warranty (at the same time my bike was being left for 2 weeks), and I called 3 times over the 2 weeks to make sure that they look at it so it can be warrantied, they didn't. When I went to pick up the bike the broken one was still there and they said parts didn't deal with it, take it to service. Service said they don't deal with it, take it to parts. So I took the bags off the bike, dropped them off for a return, they refused saying it's not their policy to take back product, but they will warranty it. This was in April. It's now August, and they STILL have done nothing. I've call HD corporate customer service 3x now, and nobody can figure out what's happening with it. I've been told it's been ordered 6x now, 3 from parts tech, 2 from manager, 1 from corporate customer service rep, but still no proof of that happening. I want to return this bike because HD seems to not know what the F they're doing and can't do something as simple as order a stupid replacement part! Quality -0 Responsiveness -0 Responsibility -0 Care about their customers -0 Competent -0 I would give negative stars if I could, but that's not an option here. I won't be recommending HD to any friends or family, and I won't be purchasing my next bike from HD, I won't be buying any other parts or accessories from them, and I won't be taking my bike here for service. read more

Bought our 2nd Harley. A 2022 Heritage Classic Black Out Edition in 2022. The bike sold with a 6,000 dollar mark up. My spouse wanted the bike since my sportster 1200 was a 1 seater. So we could ride. Anyways high APR and 2 years later. Th Heritage is a good bike, but the Pan American 1250s is my new crush. For adventures. Went to make a trade, but due to the markup and High APR of heritage. We are upside down. They offered to buy it out right 6,500 or trade in at 18,000.00. The Pan American 22,999.00 OH plus another markup of 6,000. Putting it at 28,999.00. After 4hrs of running credit and they come back for a down payment Needed.!! NOT discuss APR or monthly payments. Sadly this chipped my shoulder considering I traded my sportster (paid for) during the purchase of Heritage. Stupid move on my part. Should've kept it. Now i walked out saying no to down payment. Since they only seem interested in markup. Not treating repeat customers with a desire to have them keep returning. Offering the MSRP without markup. They made a ton of cash off the first sale. They also ran both our credits even though my spouse makes enough for the purchase. Oddly being lied to stating the banks needed more income. Right!! Really curious? How is markup even legal when it actually does nothing to actually make the bike more valuable? Instead it puts more money in the dealerships pocket. While leaving the customer upside down as the bike / car drives off the lot. Not to happy with Riverside Harley Davidson and there sales team. Except for Luis from Boston. Saturday morning i grab checkbook and headed that way 1 hour away. When i got there they said indeed they had the bikes but one was going to auction and not for sale. The other was "wrecked"! Realize when I ask why there are no prices, your answer "because then we're stuck with that price,"cuts both ways. He stated that prices are posted only during red tag days. I seem to recall just the opposite. He indicated that Road Glides are $40k bikes and the used ones were maybe a couple of grand cheaper because they don't sell high mileage bikes. Also the line, "We're #1 for a reason." is not helpful. Folks, realize that as long as we put up with nonsense canned answers and shady looking practices they will continue. I got it back today with a dent in the rear fender, my phone mount was broken and a piece was missing from my front forks. The customer service at this shop is a fucking joke...that's putting it lightly. They don't give a shit about their customers!! Every time I've taken my bike or my wife's bike there we've got them back in worse condition than we dropped it off in. I had to make a huge scene today in front of other customers just to get them to repair or replace the stuff they fucked up. I live 5 minutes from their shop and I will never set foot in there again.
