Horrible customer service and lack of communication! I'll spend my money elsewhere. After haggling for a few hours struck a deal...I was happy but was feeling a little bitter sweet cause they didn't have my bike that I purchased. I was patient to a point...after being promised I would receive my bike a certain day, it never happened...the day after didn't happen again...after being BS'd a third time I just showed up and said if they wanted to salvage the deal they would give me a bike that was on the showroom floor which was an upgrade or give me my deposit back! Their answer was "Check or Credit card refund"...I went the next day to Santa Clarita Harley and rode off with my new bike within an hour...and they actually had a nicer color!!!! read more

Not a reputable dealer for me, emaild them regarding a 2020 Low Rider advertised on the internet for $12,988. Melissa responded from the sales department, said the bike was still available and told her I would pay cash and have it shipped to WA state. She responded, this is a managers special and requires the buyer to come into the showroom and provide a "wet signature" (?). Mind you, this was not disclosed in the internet ad. I told her my wife was in CA on business and would come by and provide the wet signature the next day. Melissa said that would be fine and would get back to me by the end of the day. A day later, no word from Riverside Harley Davidson. Bait and switch, you decide, but my belief is they use this supposed manager special to lure in buyers and then sell them a more expensive bike. I went in to look at potential motorcycles and after a while I saw a nice used road glide and was planning on trading in a 2016 road glide special. They offered 7k and valued their 2019 road glide at 30k. I tried to understand how they valued their bike so high and all they could say was "it has a lot of upgrades " it only had lucky Dave's heavy hitter t bars which are about $500 and a lucky Dave's seat. Everything else was stock. I left that day and a week went by. I went to Los Angeles Anaheim of Fullerton Harley Davidson and they offered me bluebook value and I left with a 2021 Electra glide special under 20k. If your on the market for a new bike I would shop around because there seems to be inconsistencies depending on ownership. I drove over 40 miles to find out that they don't finance a non-harley that they are selling. I even called them before going and asked about financing terms and not once was it mentioned that they only finance Harley Davidson bikes. On top of everything, they wanted $8k out the door for a $6k advertised bike. The sales manager was like let me show you some Harleys and make you an offer you can't refuse. I felt they used me just to get me in the door but luckily I used my better judgment and shut them down. I even took the family as they called and emailed me inviting to breakfast with Santa at the dealership and no Santa or breakfast around. What a waste of time, what a shame, and what a disgrace of a business. Advice to management, state online and over the phone that you do not finance the used bikes you are selling that are not Harley Davidson. Don't advertise an event you aren't having. Quit it with the hidden fees, its very misleading. Had you been honest with me and fair with your fees, I would have seeked a loan from my bank and bought the bike. Now you lost a potential customer and you disgraced a brand I used to think highly of. read more

For not having any experience with riding motorcycles, going to the academy was a bit intimidating at first. Once the class was introduced to our instructors (Brian and Dan) all apprehensions went away. The relaxed instructions and professional instructions on the practical applications is n the motorcycle itself was extremely fun. My fellow classmates that had experience in Motorsports already also admitted that they learned a lot during the class. For 2 years I have been looking to buy a Low Rider S and it finally happened!!!! My wife convinced me to take the hour-and-a-half drive into Riverside Harley Davidson on Friday after and it was the best decision I could've made. Soon as we stepped out of the car we were met by Anthony Dekle and he immediately took out the pen and paper and started to take notes. After walking through the lot and the showroom we found out the one I was looking for was sold. But not to worry, Anthony and Chris (Stretch) were on it. They spent hours talking with lenders and got me dialed on the brand new 2022 Low Rider S, Once they brought us into finance we met Kenny. Kenny made sure we knew exactly what was on the documents and it was great about accommodating us bringing the down payment on two different days. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!!! Today when we were planning to bring it home I was fighting to get insurance for a reasonable number, I called Anthony and he immediately had a solution and put us in contact with his guy who got me taken care of, and put my new saddle man seat that I picked up from Bryan in parts on while I was getting my final paperwork wrapped up. In a few weeks, I will be back to see Bryan to get my bars done too after having a phone call with him on Sunday and speaking to him further today. Is there anything your dealership can't do??? Super disappointed! My husband ordered a part a few days short of 6mos. for his older Harley. It's been on back order since the first month. Each time we had to contact Harley regarding the part. Never have we received a courtesy call. The part is over $300.00. Every time we call they always say the same thing. It's on back order for another month. I understand the part is difficult to find. We have done some research. We would just like some communication and for goodness sake a courtesy call, perhaps a letter in the mail? Dropped bike off Friday morning 9am right when doors opened. First one in building. 1k service and detail which are free. I paid for VIP too. Get called Saturday at 4pm telling me they won't finish today with detail. Do I want to pickup today and we will do a complimentary wash and reschedule detail. Again I dropped off Friday morning. It's now Saturday afternoon. Reason was they got slammed. I guess slammed means paid customers. Not happy. The sales and reps inside are great and very helpful just don't beleive when they say your priority when your VIP (unless your paying that day) Service and detail if free will be put in the back of the line. read more

I must say even though I bought my Harley at Biggs HD Mary at Riverside has never failed to invite me or my family to any events at her store she has checked in on us like we are personal family!!! This has been beyond customer service!!! I did not get this type of attention when I bought a new car 3 years ago after the deal was done on car it was bye thanks!! I have been to this dealership twice now and both times I have left without purchasing a motorcycle. The first time was after discussing payment/ money down with the sales person and coming to an agreement before it jumping up $300.00 in the finance department. The second time was when I picked out the new 2024 road glide and had to wait 3hrs for the finance department to get my approval (which was already done online the day prior). After sitting around for what felt like forever, I told the sales person I was leaving because I did not want to sit around all day on a Saturday afternoon. I made it outside before I was stopped by the sales manager who told me he was going to contact the bank personally. So I gave them another 30 mins before I again left and drove away. I was called 10 minutes later by the sales manager who had a full temper tantrum for me refusing to turn around and go back to the dealership to buy an over priced motorcycle after spending hours there prior. When I told him I was heading home and would have to follow up with him another day he hung up on me. It shows the unprofessional behavior they tried to hid in person. I was completely shocked by this childish behavior and even more due to them saying they support veterans and them turning around treating a disabled veteran this way. If you have any self respect and want to purchase a Harley Davidson, go to another dealership. Nothing is worse than feeling you are being ripped off by a business. read more

I'm very frustrated with Harley of riverside. My sister and I signed up for a riding class back in October but due to the rise of covid-19 we reschedule for January and still didn't feel comfortable taking the class due to the rates in the area. We tried to talk to Brian Habegger, who is In charge of the classes and after repeated attempts to get ahold of him for a refund, I finally got through to his phone. I had been placed on hold many times for more than 10 minutes. My sister tried talking to him also about a refund and he was very rude to her as well. He told me "I am in charge of who gets refunds" and we weren't going to get one. He was very rude and was talking down to me like some man with power over our money. It made me very uncomfortable and now He's saying that Harley is going to hold our money until we want to take the class. I don't even feel comfortable now being anywhere near this man. I don't need someone ruining an experience that I was really excited about doing. I feel like if we aren't comfortable during a pandemic that has been all over the place we shouldn't be penalized for it. I went through Harley because it's a trusted name but that guy actually ruined it for me and I'm pretty bummed about it. My friend's recommended this dealership because they go there a lot but sadly it was very disappointing. I will not be getting a bike from there that's for sure. read more

I don't ride street bikes, and am unlikely ever to buy one, but I feel compelled to write about Riverside Harley Davidson and how much I appreciate the staff there because of an unexpected emergency my family experienced. My nephew has been working at Riverside Harley for a few months, and he loves it there. He often told us how good it was to work for them because he felt like part of a family, the "Harley Family." I've been around a long time, and lots of companies talk about being a "family." Like many of you, I've learned how cheap such talk can be. The emergency: Yesterday Gunther was involved in a traffic collision and badly injured his left ankle and leg, requiring surgery that same afternoon. Thankfully, no one else was hurt. Now, anyone who's been in a crash, never mind going to a hospital because of it, has felt the pain, fear, and sense of being shaken inside--no matter how much of a bravado act is put on. Meanwhile, the rest of us, relieved his injuries were treatable, worried about his job with Harley. That same day, to our (Gunther's family) amazement, Harley Riverside sent four members to help. Three of them, manager Mike Gunnell, Dave Schroder, and Mark Smith went directly to the hospital, joining Gunther's dad, grandmother, and mother. The other manager, Hogan, went to the crash site to take care of towing Gunther's bike. Manager Mike Gunnell wound up staying until quite late in the night, until Gunther was out of surgery and back in his room. I've been a paramedic and firefighter for many years, and transported thousands of patients to countless hospitals, and have rarely seen this sort of support by so many people, especially from one's place of work, and this all touched me greatly. It also tells me that when Harley Davidson of Riverside says they're family, they mean it, and frankly, nothing makes a more loyal and happy employee than that. After all, the sense of family is not something you can pay for or stock: It is, or it isn't there. If I should ever decide to buy a Harley, even if I have to drive hours to get there, Harley Davidson Riverside has earned my loyalty. Kudos to you all! You're so very much appreciated. Looked at their website and found a decent priced used bike. The sales guy I worked with was different that the fella I spoke to on the phone. Whatever, no big deal I thought. Long story short, got talked out of the used bike I wanted and was convinced/directed/pushed et. al. into a new stripped down version of what I wanted. Got all the way into finance and was asked if I was excited...I was shocked at my reply....I said no...never once, during the time waiting for him, was I excited about the bike I chose (was strongly influenced to buy) and I left. The sales kid was a bit pushy and tried to hard to say anything and everything to get me to buy a bike. Just an overall uncomfortable experiece.
