They absolutely crushed my order, and I'm all in on this concept and the execution. You can choose one of a few specials, or build your own. I loved the challenge of building my own. I stayed away from some of the surprisingly available high end items like butter poached lobster, New York Strip and grilled Brats. Instead, I tried to construct more of a classic Mac with some fun add-ins. My Small Mac (which was still big enough to feed two people) consisted of orecchiette pasta, House Five Cheese Sauce, Diced Ham, Garlic Spinach, Garlic Croutons, a Fontina/Gruyere add-on and a Ritz Cracker Topping. After they assemble it, they cook it in a small oven to brown the top and marry the ingredients. I was very impressed. There was a creamy component from the cheese sauce, but also a stretchy component from actual cheese. It was flavorful, but not too salty. Great texture. I'm a noted Ritz Cracker fan and the topping was glorious. But darn if the MVP wasn't the garlic spinach. I know. Sounds crazy. It just gave it a nice jolt of color, and contrasting flavor and texture. People are going to love this place. So. So. Good. How you building your Mac? Five Stars

Service was friendly and professional, and our meals arrived at just the right pace for anyone trying to make curtain time. The only thing missing was a quick mid-meal check-in. As for the food, everything tasted good, but I couldn't shake the feeling that the value wasn't quite there. I ordered the Chicken Limon ($27). The flavors were excellent, but the portion was surprisingly small: two small pieces of chicken, vegetables, capers, and a very modest serving of whipped potatoes. My companion's Eggplant Pomodoro ($23) was also tasty, but felt incomplete. A small side of penne would have gone a long way. Dessert followed the same pattern. The entrees arrived after a short wait given how busy they were. The burger was ordered medium but was more rare than medium to the point the burger tasted mushy in your mouth. Fries, although they had the appearance of being crispy really weren't. On the plus side the burger was seasoned well. This is the first time I've been served a Caesar salad that was room temperature. It was okay but not a lot of flavor. Dress g seemed pretty bland. Asked for additional Parmesan cheese which normally is grated at the table but instead I was given a shaker with generic cheese that I would have expected from a pizza parlor not for this level restaurant. Portion size didn't appear too much larger than the side salad size from what I saw being brought to other tables. Given we had limited time we didn't have time to have our meals made over. We've been here before and I know they can do better than they did and because of that we will come back again but it was a disappointing night. Room is comfortable but very noisy making it difficult to hold a normal conversation without raising your voice to keep up with everyone else. Server did a good job given the workload she had. We noticed that she also needed to provide direction to the food runners as well as trying to perform her normal duties. We did finally ask about the disability access. There is one parking space at the rear of the restaurant which is where the access ramp is which leads to a side door into the restaurant.
