So me and my husband scheduled two viewings for today, using the website rently, that riverside property management uses to show their available properties. Arriving to the first one, when we "check in" online, it said to call Ana. So we did. Of course no one in the office is available. Call their emergency line and then they tell us that they only show THAT property Monday through Friday. So obviously annoyed, we move on the the next property. THE SAME THING HAPPENED. We drove an hour to view these properties that we had appointments for and we're leaving unable to view a single thing. THANKS riverside property management. IF a company you hire to show your properties doesn't have the correct black out dates, what the hell are you guys actually doing? Wasting peoples time! We do business with Riverside Property Management and this company cares about their clients. There are many property managers that do not give priority to their tenants, especially after hours. We were helping them with a water damage in one of their units and they were very worried about the well being of the tenants. They stayed up late in the evening to make sure everything was handled properly. Brandi was communicating with the plumbers to get the toilets working asap. In my career I've dealt with a lot of property management companies and I haven't found any that put the customer (property owner)first EXCEPT for Misty Boehmer and Riverside Property Management. She is the only one I would trust for my rentals AND when I get clients needing to find a rental, I always give them her number. I know she will treat my referrals right. I also know first hand that her company stays educated on the lastest legalities for landlords and tenants and I can't tell you how quickly those laws are changing and if you don't find someone up to date it will cost you at some point. Terrible Terrible Terrible people...They "Claim" I abandoned the apartment. I did not! I co/signed for the apt and they knew this...When the Tenant left I did not know about it. These people had ALL of my contact information. I heard nothing from them, until I was sent to collections. I paid the $750.00 fee. Two months later I heard from the Sheriff!!!.. I owed another $997.00 !!!! Why was I not contacted? Why was I not told of these extra fees at that time? These people are crooks and lied about how this went down...Beware!! read more

We had a horrible experience with this company 'managing' our rental property. Summary: They never visited the premises during the course of the lease; the property was heavily damaged. They apologized and provided excuses aplenty but nothing productive. The lack of accurate and thorough documentation of the initial inspection (blamed on employees they no longer have) made compensation for much of the damage impossible and they were unwilling to make an effort to collect. When problems were identified at the 11th hour (since they were absent throughout the tenancy) they resorted to personal name calling and minimizing of the issues. Don't wish this experience on anyone else so I figured it was worth the time to highlight. Per the response they provided to my review: the house was not for sale and is leased again. The 'visits' were not to the interior of the property since we were told the tenant did not make themselves available to allow entry to your former employee, and the gardener quote was from someone that never even saw the property or the damage (which you confirmed). Not quite a disagreement but a solid case of misrepresentation of the facts. Over and onward. read more

I rent out a house, and taxes keep going up. Liberals voted in a new bond so now I have to pay more. I haven't raised my tenants' rent in 9 years but costs of everything has gone up in this state. I called to see if they can just help me raise rent without upsetting my tenants. We like them but Business is Business. Some lady named Misty told me two options, and I went with an addendum. She wrote the letter for me and it sounded professional and nice. It's been 3 months already and the tenant is still paying the higher amount. I'm grateful because I just learned some democrat in assembly is now trying to pass a sewer tax too. She said if I ever want to sell, she can help me do that too. I may just leave CA one day. Anyway, yah she helped me and I felt like she charged fair price for that letter but the advice part was free. read more

A nightmare is an understatement. When we first moved in the sink would over flow because the garbage disposal didn't work. One of the toilets was cracked and leaking along with a cold shower. We would put work orders in and got weeks without hearing anything. We thought we had the wrong number because no one would answer or call us back for such extended periods of time. After finally getting a response a random sketchy looking person would knock on our door unannounced to fix these problems. It seems that riverside property management would ignore us. Specifically Desiree Bacio. The last month of our lease we went without a microwave because the one in the home broke. We could have went and bought a microwave ourselves but that is not our job as renters. If you are thinking about hiring Riverside property management I would highly advise against it. Literally any other company would be better then this one. Worst property management experience I've had. We tried being professional and gave them many chances but time and time again we were ignored and simple requests took weeks to complete. read more

Very unprofessional! I spoke with the agent on Monday, made an appointment to see a house on the following Wednesday. I explained that my husband has a long commute home, and we would do our best to be at the house by 3pm. She (agent) informed me she could be there til 3:30 for us. My husband rushed home and we made it to the property by 2:45, no sign of the agent. Waited til 3, then i called to see where the agent was. She informed me that she did not show up because i did not call to confirm the appointment. I had just spoken with her two days ago!!! There was no need to confirm!! Very unprofessional! And you just lost some potentially good renters!! Less than one star. read more

Very unprofessional and rude! I made an arrangement to view a property and met Brandi there. She was rushed and kept looking at her watch, was on the phone the whole time and had a cold condescending attitude. We applied for the property anyway, and then she didn't call me back and went on vacation. When I called her back again, she was very rude, accused me of lying on my application and basically hung up on me. When I told Misty, the owner how I had been treated, she just said "I'm sorry" nothing else. How rude!!! read more
