I rushed to the Urgent Care Center after work and thankfully the Team happily honored the Service Hours listed on their Business Page and still let me at 8pm. There were a lot of patients in the Urgent Care Center at the closing hour but the Receptionists still modeled an abundance of high caring, kind and attentively energizing Professionalism. I always enjoy relaxing in the waiting room where there are fun kids Movies playing and a cool AC to help me unwind and decompress. The TV Screen in the waiting room gave me clear expectations of my estimated waiting time and place in line which also helped ease my anxiety and uncertainty! Mildred called me in within the time frame listed and did a wonderful job thoroughly recording my vitals for the Provider. I appreciated Mildred's fun and flavorful personalized badge holders which added extra Sports Nerd pizzazz into the Atmosphere, and I was so delighted to see Dr. Igbinosun as my Provider! Dr. Igbinosun has assisted me before and is very quick, stern, and caring when it comes to providing helpful feedback and guidance on how to heal efficiently. Dr. Igbinosun listened attentively to my requests for topical ointment over cream and also prescribed me antibiotics to help the bacterial infection from spreading. My skin rash has healed so much since my visit and I appreciate the Norco Urgent Care Team for serving me with positive and peacefully structured Professionalism as always! Thank you to the Receptionist Barbie too for giving me fun suggestions on where to get deliciously packed individually portioned Bistro Salads in town to aid my progressive journey to better self care!

I checked in for an appointment 10 minutes earlier and my estimated wait time was 27-42 minutes even though I had an appointment. They send you a text message before your assigned appointment explains that if you are 10 minutes late your appointment will be canceled. But when you arrive they want your payment upfront. Should waive payment if they are over 10 minutes from your assigned appointment. However, their monitor is very inaccurate and misleading as it informs you in real-time what approximate wait time is. The problem is that is was way off. I was not called into the office until 1 hour and 18 minutes. Then it took another 19 minutes for the physician to see me in the exam room. Dr was friendly and I diagnosed and exited the room after 2 minutes after being seen. A couple observations were made from this experience. 1. You are better off getting a better wait time but reporting in person and returning. 2. Just go to ER. I did not see the benefit for making an online appointment. Total waste of time! This is so sad because the VA contracts with this establishment and after this experience I am writing to the VA to inform that they should not renew and future contracts if this is how they treat veterans! I literally could have waited less by driving to the VA hospital ER and getting a better treatment.

Writing another review because something has got to change at Kaiser…read more I went to the ER last Thursday not because I wanted to, but because my fiancée and family strongly encouraged me to get evaluated due to ongoing shortness of breath, chest tightness, and potential complications related to findings on my heart imaging. While my symptoms have been extremely debilitating, I honestly expected the ER would offer little help. I first went to urgent care, hoping they could assist, but because my heart rate was elevated, they sent me to the ER. Dr. Romero Kupai came in and reassured me that nothing urgent was happening, which I appreciated. However, when I brought up the concerns found on my echocardiogram earlier that day, he seemed to minimize them as though they were not worth concern. He also stated that one of the blood tests my cardiologist had ordered was unnecessary because if I had that particular infection, I would be "very sick." He then said he would still order it anyway, in a way that felt dismissive--as if he were doing me a favor by completing testing my specialist had already deemed appropriate. (After i left the ER i did further research through credible medical sources, and found that he was entirely incorrect, that the infection I was being tested for can be subacute - symptoms can indeed be minimal or hidden) I am EXTREMELY glad that i still chose to get the testing done, despite him making it sound like it would be pointless. When he later explained there was nothing further the ER could do after ruling out immediately life-threatening issues, I understood that. What was frustrating, however, was when I asked what could be done in the meantime to help manage my symptoms while waiting for specialist follow-up, he had no guidance beyond telling me to return if symptoms worsened. The most upsetting part of the visit was overhearing him speaking about me outside the room to staff. I heard comments along the lines of patients getting "one bad test result" and assuming "that must be it," followed by something to the effect of trying to be gentle because he "can't tell them it's all in their head." Hearing a physician discuss me this way while I was actively seeking help was deeply discouraging and unprofessional. Being told by my cardiologist that there may be a mass on my heart is a legitimate reason to be concerned--especially when experiencing chest pain and shortness of breath. Those symptoms are not "in my head," and neither are abnormal imaging findings. He also responded to my report of sharp chest pain by saying it was not concerning, and stated, "I actually like hearing when patients have sharp pain." I understand he may have been trying to explain that certain pain patterns are less associated with emergencies, but the phrasing was insensitive and unsettling in the moment. I understand the ER's role is to rule out emergencies, not solve chronic issues. But patients still deserve respect, thoughtful communication, and not to be spoken about within earshot in a mocking or dismissive manner. Kaiser needs to do better in ensuring patients--especially those scared and symptomatic--are treated with professionalism and dignity.

Instead, I was met by a doctor (a tall woman who refused to provide her name) who was aggressive and unprofessional. My concerns were not taken seriously, and I was not properly evaluated or treated. Instead of addressing my symptoms, she repeatedly attempted to push unrelated services, which made the visit feel more like a sales pitch than a medical appointment. Refusing to appropriately evaluate and treat a patient presenting with clear symptoms comes in way below the standard of care and raises serious concerns about patient safety and professional conduct. I left without receiving the care I needed for what should have been a straightforward issue. Patients deserve to be heard, respected, and properly treated this experience failed on all three. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Medical Board of California so this incident is documented and reviewed.

My mom was initially placed in a three-bed room with a very loud patient, making it difficult for her to rest. Krystal went out of her way to find a quieter room that happened to be available and arranged for my mom to be moved so she could have a more restful night. My mom was extremely appreciative, and so was I. The entire staff on the unit was wonderful, but Crystal truly went above and beyond. Her compassion, attentiveness, and willingness to advocate for her patient made a difficult situation much more comfortable. I would also like to recognize the echo technician who cared for my mom. She had initially requested a female technician, but his kindness, professionalism, and respectful demeanor immediately put her at ease. He earned her trust right away, and she felt completely comfortable in his care. His professionalism and compassionate approach made a lasting impression on both of us. I would also like to recognize Jackie , CNA ( I believe that's her name) . She has a very boisterous personality that immediately brightened the atmosphere on the unit. She balanced professionalism with a lighthearted approach that helped put patients and families at ease. Her energy, dedication, and ability to bring smiles to those around her did not go unnoticed, and I truly appreciated her efforts. Nursing is not an easy profession, and Crystal's dedication, kindness, and professionalism did not go unnoticed. The exceptional care provided by Crystal, the echo technician, Rena, and the rest of the staff reflects the very best of patient-centered care. I propose an enhancement of privacy; now, all conversations are audible, since we are situated in an open waiting area where others can overhear personal reasons for seeing the doctor, resulting in a complete lack of privacy. I could discern the rationale and concerns of each individual; yet, that location is located at the entryway, compromising privacy since it exposes one's affairs to public knowledge. The check-in process for payment is efficient, and the staff is kind while recording your insurance information. Overall, everyone is polite and professional. I appreciate the kindness of the staff; every individual, including the security guard who records your name, was pleasant and amiable. The emergency room is clean, the bathrooms are well-maintained, and the whole service is commendable. The chairs are comfortable, thankfully not made of harsh plastic, which enhances the experience. Thank you. To the Manager: Please establish a more secluded area for the check-in process, as it now occurs in a public space where anyone may overhear your detailed conversations with the nurse. Exceptional emergency room, outstanding nurses, staff, and PA Daniel. Scott exhibited a high level of professionalism and contributed to my improved well-being.
