The BBQ platter with ribs, pulled chicken, mac and cheese, fries, and toast was packed with flavor and perfect for sharing. The chicken dish with mashed potatoes and greens was also amazing and really well done. We also got dessert and it was the perfect sweet ending to the night. The service was great the entire time. Our server was especially attentive and funny, which made the experience even better and added such a fun, personal touch to the night. Overall this is such a great spot and definitely one we will keep coming back to. My husband got the Spanish G&T which the rotating gin was an African gin with orange notes. The drink overall was refreshing for summer. For food, we shared the Papas Fritas which was seasoned fries with a salsa sauce and celery cream sauce. I surprisingly liked the sauces a lot and the portion was a perfect light snack for four. It's the noise...oh, the noise. There were a few tables with large parties, so it was pretty loud. Even leaning in closely, it was hard for my friend and me to hear each other talk. And the screaming kids were something else, emitting ear-piercing screams that get your attention, for all the wrong reasons. I didn't see any staff ask the large parties to keep it down or ask the parents to manage their children, which I guess I can understand. Large parties = more revenue than a two-top. But we did not - could not - linger after we ate our meals, or order coffee, dessert, and/or an after-dinner drink, because it was just too loud in there.

I love the candlesticks they have lit at the tables. There's a a view of the kitchen as well. To eat as an appetizer, they gave us complimentary bread and butter and we ordered the sundried tomato oil to go along with it (a must). Their bread is so soft and fresh. We also got the bone marrow (forgot to get a photo), and it was some of the best we've had!! For our entrees, we got the two pasta dishes. They called them "small plates" but it was the perfect amount of food for us with our appetizers. I had the spicy carrot rigatoni pasta and it was super fresh.
