Old Town Pour House in Naperville is one of mine and my boyfriend's favorite places and it never disappoints. We went for a date night and it was honestly such an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is one of my favorite parts. It is lively and has a great energy, but it is not overwhelming or too crazy, which makes it perfect for a date night. You can actually talk, relax, and enjoy your time together, which is exactly what we were looking for. We ordered a mix of things and everything was so good. The BBQ platter with ribs, pulled chicken, mac and cheese, fries, and toast was packed with flavor and perfect for sharing. The chicken dish with mashed potatoes and greens was also amazing and really well done. We also got dessert and it was the perfect sweet ending to the night. The service was great the entire time. Our server was especially attentive and funny, which made the experience even better and added such a fun, personal touch to the night. Overall this is such a great spot and definitely one we will keep coming back to. If you are looking for a place that has a fun atmosphere but still feels comfortable for a date night, I would absolutely recommend checking this place out. read more

3.6 average rating doesn't seem right. Old Town Pour House is 1000000% 5 stars. From start to finish, everything was great. This elevated sports bar easily seats 100+ comfortably (inside). They also have an outdoor patio for when the weather is nice. The staff member let us know they have a few other locations, Oak Brook, Chicago, and their sister company City Works in Schaumburg. Service throughout was good and timed out well. Within 2 minutes of placing a drink order, they were brought over to our table. Food took about 10-15 mins to be prepared and brought over. Our group was in and out within an hour and 30 mins. I tried the Nashville chicken wrap which comes with a side. I went with the side salad with citrus vinaigrette. The salad was light and refreshing. Great way to get some veggies in! The wrap was delicious, crispy and toasted perfectly. All the ingredients paired well together and I enjoyed all the textures of it. I had ZERO left overs. read more

If you are so fortunate to have hospitality savant Michael as your server, then the odds are forever in your favor. The beer list is so extensive that I joked I wasn't sure what to pick - Michael expertly guided me towards two porters, a standard milk stout and a reach with the peanut butter stout, returning with samples of both. Shocked at how good the pb stout was, given that I am not a fan of a certain purple monkey dishwasher variety, I was thrilled with the Saugatuck PB stout and 10/10 recommend since it is a regional beer. I was in the mood for spicy and small plates and thought I'd sample both a flatbread and the Kung Pao cauliflower. Michael gave me a short intervention on the spice levels and I chose the nuclear option. I think I would have done it all over again - so good. But you can cut the heat with an Asiago sauce which was great for dipping the flatbread in. We ended up chatting about all of the Chicagoland theatre options and of course that called for a side of dessert pretzel churros. We came here tonight to celebrate old friendships. We met here at 4:00 and got a great booth in the bar area. Our waiter Tyler H. was fantastic! He told us not to worry cause it was taking us a long, long time to even look at our menus. He said it wasn't at all busy. We were there for 2 1/2 hrs and Tyler was just great the whole time. We started with drinks and appetizers then went to our entrees. I realized yesterday was our one friend's birthday so I went and asked Tyler if they did any obnoxious singing or anything? They didn't but he said they would bring out some snickers dessert shots out to us. We could sing or do whatever we wanted?? So he brought those out with a candle in the one. Came here for a birthday dinner with my mom. Obviously a good place if you like to try different beers on tap, but I ordered the Strawberry Basil margarita. It was served in a rocks glass and very strong (more like a martini). I didn't even finish the whole thing. We ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer and it was part of a "happy hour" half off promotion. I ordered the spicy shrimp tacos and they were quite delicious. I was full after 2 of them so the portion sizes are generous. We ended with a peanut butter pie dessert. All the food was tasty, the service was good. Went to this location with a reservation at 7:30pm on a Wednesday night. I would recommend a reservation as when we walked in, it was pretty busy. They do also have a large bar with plenty of seats. They also share a parking lot with mutiple other locations. Our waitress was extremely helpful and friendly. She allowed us time to look through both the drink and food menus while she brought waters over. The location has tvs all over and light music playing. The fish tacos were cooked perfectly and had a little kick from the slaw that is on it. The brisket mac and cheese was a great size and the fried onion strings in the top was a great touch. 5 Stars Stumbled into this pub‑centric gem and ended up finding not just a bartender, but a server/therapist/tour guide all rolled into one--Andy is absolutely amazing. The whole crew here knows their stuff. These guys know smoke. These guys know kegs. No joke--they're out here breaking legs (in the best way). The smokehouse wings? My favorite. The ribs? Somehow my even more favorite. Everything coming out of the kitchen is legit, flavorful, and worth every penny. By far the best service I've ever had. We went there with our company for a happy hour and we had like 20+ of us and we had Kim as our server. Honestly, she was amazing. 10/10. No one ever needed or wanted for a drink, she was fun, conversational, I mean I've never seen service like that. This will be our company's go to spot for any of our events. Ambiance was great too. Came here for lunch on a weekday and it was busy but got seated right away and drinks order in the system and on the table pretty fast. There's a bar section with plenty of high top tables and a restaurant sections with regular tables. We order the spicy shrimp, fried pickles and queso dip to start. The fried pickles and spicy shrimp was definitely my favorite. Spicy shrimp has a nice flavor and not overly spicy. The fried pickles batter nicely paired with the salty-sourness of the pickles. Had not been to this location. Previous experience is the one in Oak Brook, which at the time was very loud at dinner service. Did not enjoy that ambiance. Went here for a lunch on a Tuesday and was highly satisfied. They have a nice small lunch menu where you can get a sandwich, flatbread, and other handhelds plus a bowl of soup, chili, wedge salad and some other choices. All "lunch sized" servings, which is perfect. I had margharita flatbread and cup of their chili. Four pieces of the flatbread, served with halved cherry tomatoes, mozz pearls, and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. The chili I can't remember, however it was nice and beefy, no beans. And of course the beer - whoa lots to choose from and most of it is local. Great location, attentive service. read more

Literally 15 seconds after I received my salad, my hot food came out...the fish and chips. I mentioned to Kathleen, the other bartender, that I didn't have time to eat my salad and she responded while walking by with no eye contact...,"Oh No!!!" And she kept walking, The fish and chips were rubbery, yet soggy all together. The only thing good here is the french fries which make me thirsty for the beer. Afraid to try the coleslaw! Kathleen was nice enough to take the salad off my bill without me even asking, when I asked for the check. Maybe they are just really busy. Good beer! Food could be better. The place was a surprise in terms of service, food, and beer selection. The lunch time provides with excellent specials and no wonder there were several tables busy. The lunch specials are great in price and size. All the food is cooked from scratch as we were told and you can tell that it takes some time to get it on the table. The beer selection was pretty good for every palate and that was one of the main reasons for choosing this place. Lots of beer choices. The apps and food were good. We were there for awhile and our friends were a little behind schedule but we ordered drinks and apps and later dinner. Friends came and also ordered drinks and food. Place was probably 40% full. (That's being generous) at 5:00 we were told the table was reserved for 6:00 and we would have to move. WTF??? Ten minutes later our server came to and said the same things even though we were still ordering drinks. Been to 1000s of restaurants and never had that said. 3 tables next to us could have been used so it was quite rude I thought. Definitely won't be back as service was mediocre at best. Kim and the gang were awesome!!! My friends and I were in town for a big convention in romeoville. We were shocked at how fast they were able to get us seated especially with a group of 12 that ended up coming at different times . We really appreciated the service and tasty food! The Nashville chicken nachos was probably the favorite meal of the table. I ordered the duck nachos which were good but not as flavorful as the chicken was. The chicken pasta had a nice flavor too and big portion size. We got a salad to go and the snickers pie was very rich enough for the table to each get a bite in.
