    CHEESE CURDS
    Karl A.

We swung in for a drink and good conversation. The staff was super fun and had us rolling laughing. We got some drinks and some cheese curds. The curds were cooked well and had a nice sauce. The drinks were cold and wet! It was a great evening for us. Great drinks, great service!

Great service from bartender Kathleen and great atmosphere! A HUGE bar, so there's ample seating! Steak salad was great! Even though it's more of a brewery, they have a full bar and were able to make me an Irish Coffee!

    MEATLOAF SLIDERS and cesar salad

Great atmosphere, food, lunch specials and service! I had the meatloaf sliders and Cesar salad. Plus pictured is 2 PULLED PORK SLIDERS and tortilla soup.

PROS - Casual vibe w/ample seating - Knowledgeable staff - Fast arrival of food after ordering CONS: - Lackluster veggie entree options - Loud ambiance TIP: - If ordering a salad, ask for extra vegetables other than lettuce. The kung pao cauliflower appetizer was great!

Super vegetarian friendly menu - hard to choose!

If you are so fortunate to have hospitality savant Michael as your server, then the odds are forever in your favor. The beer list is so extensive that I joked I wasn't sure what to pick - Michael expertly guided me towards two porters, a standard milk stout and a reach with the peanut butter stout, returning with samples of both. Shocked at how good the pb stout was, given that I am not a fan of a certain purple monkey dishwasher variety, I was thrilled with the Saugatuck PB stout and 10/10 recommend since it is a regional beer. I was in the mood for spicy and small plates and thought I'd sample both a flatbread and the Kung Pao cauliflower. Michael gave me a short intervention on the spice levels and I chose the nuclear option. I think I would have done it all over again - so good. But you can cut the heat with an Asiago sauce which was great for dipping the flatbread in. We ended up chatting about all of the Chicagoland theatre options and of course that called for a side of dessert pretzel churros. I know Old Town has found its next rising star in theatre or restaurants and hope you have as good of an experience as I did.

We came here tonight to celebrate old friendships. We met here at 4:00 and got a great booth in the bar area. Our waiter Tyler H. was fantastic! He told us not to worry cause it was taking us a long, long time to even look at our menus. He said it wasn't at all busy. We were there for 2 1/2 hrs and Tyler was just great the whole time. We started with drinks and appetizers then went to our entrees. I realized yesterday was our one friend's birthday so I went and asked Tyler if they did any obnoxious singing or anything? They didn't but he said they would bring out some snickers dessert shots out to us. We could sing or do whatever we wanted?? So he brought those out with a candle in the one. Our friend was totally surprised. A great night, great food and drinks. A nice surprise for our friend.. I'd definitely recommend this place!

I was in town for business and was here for dinner. I really like the place. The food was exceptional. We ordered several different appetizers to try. I ended up ordering steak salad for my main entree. The restaurant is a little nicer than a typical casual bar dining place. They also had outdoor seating area and full bar inside. TV screen for sports viewing. Our waitress was attentive. This location was nice and convenient to our hotel which is just a walk across the street.

    Spicy shrimp tacos

Came here for a birthday dinner with my mom. Obviously a good place if you like to try different beers on tap, but I ordered the Strawberry Basil margarita. It was served in a rocks glass and very strong (more like a martini). I didn't even finish the whole thing. We ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer and it was part of a "happy hour" half off promotion. I ordered the spicy shrimp tacos and they were quite delicious. I was full after 2 of them so the portion sizes are generous. We ended with a peanut butter pie dessert. All the food was tasty, the service was good. The ambiance is more like a sports bar atmosphere, but I would come back to try more items!

Instantly loved the vibe--inviting, cozy, and lively without being overwhelming. Great place to meet up with friends! Perfect location for good conversation or to simply catch the game on one of their abundance of tvs! The food and drinks hit the spot. No complaints regarding their strawberry basil martinis, ahi tuna salad, or their chocolate chip cookie paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Our server was incredibly attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations! Old Town Pour House is officially on our must-return list. Highly recommend!l

Fish tacos & brisket mac and cheese

Went to this location with a reservation at 7:30pm on a Wednesday night. I would recommend a reservation as when we walked in, it was pretty busy. They do also have a large bar with plenty of seats. They also share a parking lot with mutiple other locations. Our waitress was extremely helpful and friendly. She allowed us time to look through both the drink and food menus while she brought waters over. The location has tvs all over and light music playing. The fish tacos were cooked perfectly and had a little kick from the slaw that is on it. The brisket mac and cheese was a great size and the fried onion strings in the top was a great touch. Everything came out hot and fast. Highly recommend.

    Fried chicken sandwich

Lovely service and ambiance. Definitely would recommend the cheese curds! Beer selection is great. Would recommend the burger, the chicken sandwich is ok. Would come back and get something else next time!

My two meat combo with chicken wings and a hot link.

After my last posting. Grace M., the business manager was very nice and concerned. They gave me a $25 gift card to any of their restaurants. She didn't have to do that. Not many places would. Very cool and thank you Grace.

Service was good and their burgers are pretty good. If you are staying at the Marriott hotel like I was I recommend walking over for dinner.

Large beer selection and good bar food. Service could be better, but the food did come out rather quickly once ordered.

The tater tot fondue was probably not the best item to-go, since the cheese hardened a little, but it still tasted pretty good. I also ordered a salad, to balance out the tater tots. The salad was huge! But everything tasted fresh and it had a good mix of lettuce, croutons, tomatoes and cucumber.

We've been there a few times before but this time it missed the mark for several reasons. I ordered the Cod Fish & Chips last time and they were very good with a good crunch and a generous serving, what I didn't like was their breading it was very bland with hardly any taste. Also, they didn't even have tartar sauce it was kind of like a Cajun type aioli. The waitress said that they didn't have regular tartar sauce, I thought that was odd serving fish and chips without tartar sauce. It didn't justify the $24.00 price tag. The coffee was very strong, I like coffee a little strong but this was over the top. We had the nicest server named Gloria always willing to help with the menu and refills of Mango Iced Teas. My sisters ordered the Bourbon Blue Cheese Burger and they both said they were very good. I think we are going to go to a different restaurant next time even though we went their several times before. Sorry Rock Bottom!

The food is very good. My wife usually gets the tenderloin rare with a few sides, while I tend to go with the Ditka's Salad -- I know, we have it backwards. The Aperol Spritz is excellent, and the vodka martini, shaken tableside, is a great touch. The service may be the high point: thoroughly attentive, professional, and polished. It is pricey, but good steaks are expensive almost everywhere these days. I'd put Ditka's somewhere between Morton's and Wildfire -- upscale and well-run, but still comfortable and approachable.
