    Spicy mustard gyro

This is one of my favorite places typically. My girlfriend and I had a busy night with kid sports and was pumped to pick up one of my favorites. I ordered two gyros one chicken, one lamb, both with spicy mustard, as I can't eat tzatziki. When I walked in 20 minutes later they were still working on my order, but asked me again to be sure what I ordered. I again said one chicken and one lamb gyro with spicy mustard. The worker said mustard on the side? I said no mustard on both please. When I got home and open my wrapping of sandwich I found a slathered gyro with more tzatziki sauce then I've ever seen. Unfortunately I had to throw the whole things in the trash! I go to these local places for the experience and consistency, but unfortunately this will be the last time at this local spot. Make sure you check your order before leaving. $15 dollars down the drain, You can see the pictures for yourself...

    What the heck is this?????

The food is absolutely horrible!!!! My dogs wouldn't even eat this!! Who orders a gyro w just meat (lamb), tzatziki sauce and nothing else and get a jumbled up mess of ground lamb, tomatoes, onions and yes!!!! HAIR!!!!. I'm very upset. I just wanted a regular gyro!!!! Is that too much to ask??? Who in the world puts soggy fries on a gyro???? I didn't ask for this!!! What kind of establishment is this???? We paid over $100 for crap!!! Whatever you do, stay away!!! They make your gyro the way they want to make it!!! What's the use in ordering what you want????

A great place around Nashua, NH to grab dinner. They have their own parking at the back of the building. Staffs were friendly and helpful with our order. We ordered a gyro and rice bowl with bifteki. Foods were amazing and tasty, we would definitely come back to grab dinner.

The lamb Gyro here was amazing. Meat was delicious and juicy. Everything was cooked perfectly and the tzatziki was insane. Looking forward to my next visit. I'd highly recommend doing takeout.

Was never one for gyros but this turned me around. Stopped in after a hike and was probably one of the best meals I've had. Everything was warm and the fries were just the right texture.

Lamb gyro with a perfect to Golden Belgian brew.

The sandwiches were delicious! The sauces were very tasty, especially the hot mustard and tzatziki sauces.

Sorry not the best. French fries in the sandwich got super soggy, chicken was not good, falafel was eh. Good baklava though.

Got two lamb gyros for $35!! Way over priced. Lamb was SUPER dry. Fries were soggy. Feta was mush. So disappointing. Will not return.

I had an…read moreawful experience here and cannot see myself coming back, especially for the prices they charge. Perhaps we caught them on an off day, but it was bad. There was only one other table when we arrived. We ordered and waited about 10 minutes. Lentil soup was brought out. It was okay. 10 minutes later, we received our grape leaves... that cost $14.99. We were given four pieces (see photo). That's pretty outrageous. But okay, noted- we'll make sure not to order that next time. Another 10 minutes later, my partner received his falafel wrap. It just wasn't that good. It was pressed so there's no crispy falafel, just squished texture. It also wasn't flavorful at all. I'm waiting for my dish (grilled fish), and by the time my partner finishes the wrap, I see the waitress bringing out grilled fish... which she promptly gives to a table that just sat down. Another table starts to walk out because it's taking so long, but the owner stops them. I let the owner know that I'm ready to leave because my partner is done with dinner and I'm done waiting. She assures me that my fish will be out within 5 minutes. Eventually it comes out, but at this point I'm been waiting for about an hour, everything was brought out so slowly, and the food just wasn't that good. Well the fish and rice was fantastic - great flavor for both. Devoured the whole thing. We also ordered baklava, and again.. disappointing. Too much syrup and soaked to the point of being gummy. This was about $80 for everything. Although the fish was good, I can't handle the bad service and disappointing food.

And honestly, the best way to describe their food is....charmingly prosaic. I don't mean that as an insult by any means. Matter of fact, this is the kind of simple food one would order in on a Friday night after a tough day of work or something. In a way, NHOP is like the "Fast and Furious" of local pizza franchises. As long as you turn your brain off for a couple hours and stop thinking about it too hard, it's fine for what it is and actually....quite enjoyable. Anyways, the pizza immediately reminded me of the kind I used to have at the late, great Derry Restaurant (R.I.P.) back in the day as a kid - crust n' all. But the one item that really steals the show IMHO is the chicken tender appetizer. I dunno what these guys do to their tenders. But there's something about the way they season their breading which is just...*mwah* - chef's kiss! Eh....in terms of straightforward short-order take-away, that is. Pro life tip: they pair well with Chick-Fil-A sauce or....ANY sauce, really. As I mentioned earlier, we usually order to-go from here. Hence, why I haven't ever checked into this place until a recent visit with wifey (she didn't feel like driving). It was then when I finally got a chance to scope out the interior of this place. It's small, quaint, and simple; much like the cuisine. Not much worth mentioning, if we're being honest. My only complaint about this place is the sauce they use for their pizza. It's sweet....if you're into that sort of thing. It doesn't bother me (much). But I'd be lying if I said I didn't wish they'd at least consider taking another approach. Pizza should be savory - not a subtle fusion of confusion. So basically, this is our other default spot after we get sick of all the other usual suspects. Nothing world changing, but pretty good. I'm giving Nashua House of Pizza 4 sweetish-savory slices of pizza out of 5.
