The games are newer, and so is the cold air inside the casino. The food is about the same quality as at any Golden Corral. The prices at Willows especially since they remodeled are ridiculously high. When they have seafood night, you pay $55 per couple and they divvy the crab legs out like their afraid you're going to get to full. The crab is always cold and I like my food hot, I didn't eat any crab the last two times we went for that reason. Plus the casino keeps the air conditioning so low that any hot food you do dish onto your plate its getting cold before you even sit your plate on the table. No longer a fan! Very nice casino. Ate at the Willow Buffet before it closed so some items were missing. Good food and friendly staff. Had a good selection of slots and tables. The bar was reasonably priced and the staff, very friendly and quick. Plenty of Beverage stations. Will definitely visit again for to try the Restaurant on-site. read more

Ive gone here once or twice a month for years but in the last year or so I have won nothing and lost literally thousands. They won't even give me any points on my card which admittedly I seldom use but sometimes I do and still, nothing. The machines are so tight and bonuses on some games pay nothing. Totally love this casino... it lets you win alittle! We can go in there with $100 and play for a few hours.. win some, loose some, but atleast you can play while and enjoy yourself ..... the buffet at Willows is excellent, any night you go. I would totally recommend trying them out! Like most casinos owned by the Chickasaw Nation you are going to lose your money. They have quit paying out on the machines like they used to. Unless you have $100 to put in a machine and play a machine with 5 lines and a bet of .25cents or above, you won't hit anything big. Wild spins are depressing and this casino has way to many penny machines. If you are just there to put in a $20 and play for a few minutes then it is good. Other than that, if you want to win then you better put in at least a hundred and bet the .50cent or 1.00 bet which equals $2.50 and $5.00 per spin otherwise you will just lose your money. Husband and I were in OKC for the Memorial Marathon. Saw a promo for 20 points gets $20 matchplay. Every other casino in the state that means spend $20, get $20. NOT HERE. After spending $56.00 I had FOUR points on my card. Player's club just shrugged and said we are not like other casino's... got that. They said different machines award points differently and I must have been playing progressives. They apparently don't award very many points. I said, no actually just playing penny slots. My husband played $105. and got seven points. At this time we decided to leave. Dear Riverwind: Full disclosure nets a happier, returning customer. Spell it out. I am most assuredly a fan of Riverwind Casino! We take the extra time to drive past Winstar and up to exit 106 just to go to Riverwind. They always treat you better at the customer service desk, hotel front desk and even the buffet room. I can only guess that the reason that is relates to the fact that they are not yet a "mega" casino and are maintaining that more intimate mindset. If you can stand the extra 2 hour drive from the Texas border then it is worth it. Give them a try and see what experience you can have. read more

My favorite casino in OKLAHOMA! By far, it's my go to whenever I visit family in Oklahoma. I came 6 times in one week and made money every night. My mom won the jackpot over at the Quickhits slot games! $2000!!! I myself won various amounts during the week from $8-$650 nightly during my time. I really like the atmosphere and it feels really safe compared to other casinos. I see security patrolling the parking lots and the casino constantly and it made me feel very safe. I appreciated that very much as my brother and I work in law enforcement in California. My mom had a negative experience regarding a theft two years ago while she was playing but security tracked down the thief and got my moms money back. The staff from the custodians to the "white collar" employees were amazing. I never got to thank the custodian working 07/02/17 a bigger white man with thick metal glasses telling me about the different services the hotel offered like free wifi and the free beverages. I asked custodians for your name to commend you to your supervisors. I never got the chance! I hope they see this review! I will definitely be back. read more

Wife & I usually go down on a Fri or Sat night to listen to the bands and party in the River Lounge toward the front of the casino. Been there about 7 times and each time the band "ROCKED"! No cocktail waitresses you have to go to the bar to get a drink but the bartenders (all of them) work their butt's off to serve customers (and they are ALL friendly)--never had to wait for a drink more than 3 to 4 minutes even when the place was packed shoulder to shoulder. Have seen bands there and the genre is everything from country, R&B, rock to disco depending on the band. You can go to their website and click entertainment calendar and see who is going to play. Bands aren't so loud they blow your head off like some places. Drinks are a reasonalbe price $4.00 for a Cantina (6 point beer, all the Buds and Coors are 3.2) or get a bloody mary, bourbon and coke for the same price. Only 2 negatives I have are when the place gets packed and the smokers fire up, the second hand smoke is a little stiff. Found out if you set on the far south side the smoke removal system draws it away from you. Second negative if you do sit in the south side of the bar when it gets packed people tend to congregate between the front tables and the bandstand and it's hard to see the band. This has only happened twice, I've gone up and asked them to please sit down or move and both times they did and no one got PO'ed. These two reasons are why I onlly give it 4 stars instead of 5. Great place to go on a Fri or Sat night and not have to spend $200.00 for an evening out. Crowd is everywhere from 21 to about 33 (majority) and a few older folks 50-60 but everyone mixes well--never seen any fights or MMA cage matches, nice crowd (a lot of OU students frequent it since it's about 4 miles away from the university). Just visited the Riverwind and needless to say was not impressed. Had the sound turned off on all the Royal Wheel machines. I asked customer service on 3 different occasions for a tech to turn them back on, but never received any help. I won't go back! to the Casino! The Willow Buffet -- COLD - Don't expect to burn your mouth on the food. Had prime rib -- cold and tougher than a wet leather boot. Green Bean, California Blend, you name it were cold. Desert -- Hot Chocolate Cake wouldn't even melt ice cream. and you pay 18.00 for this! The only good thing that I have to say about the whole experience it the Hotel -- the bed is wonderful it is like it just cradles you. However the vanity is made for the tall people not the short ones. read more

My husband and I drive just about 2 hours to stay Friday through Sunday at least once a month there. We really enjoy the slots and hotel. Just keep in mind, it is a casino, don't play if you are to afraid to loss or you are a sore loser. On that note, the players cards do NOT work most the time in the machines or it takes so long trying to get it to work, that you just say the heck with it!! As for the hotel the check-in for the hotel is VERY INCONVENIENT!! You have to check in at the casino and then cross over to the hotel to basically recheck in! It makes NO since!! Its the only casino that does it that way that I'm aware of. A real pain! We have ate at the Willow and the Chips-N-Ales both are pretty good places, just a little pricey for what you get. I'm not a big foodie person, however the Friday night special at Chips-N-Ales, the Surf and Turf special for $18.00 each is a REAL joke!! Way over priced, I thought it was a sampler plate or appetizer!! Anyhow the chicken, cod & shrimp trio for $15. Is excellent. Every casino has its flaws! This is the worst casino I have ever been in. Staff are very rude. Promotions are misleading and food and beverage prices are outrageous. We have nicknamed it never win. Went in for promotion, was early and was never permitted to participate, even when manager told us we could participate if we came back at a specific time. We came back at specified time according to manager but again was turned away. Even asked to speak to that manger but was told he was too busy! What a crock of hooey and what a bait and switch tactic! Will not recommend this crooked and underhanded establishment to anyone! Never win is a horrible place to go! read more

the worst place the management is corrupt. 3 days ago I was playing in this machine and had $120 in there this woman comes and puts her card in the machine I was playing on . I asked her what she was doing . she said she is checking the light. I said what light. . but she disappeared.. then i started loosing the machine went dead. Today I again was playing in this one machine and had $85. this boy comes and puts his card in the machine and I do not know what signal he sent I started to loose again.I had heard that the employees go around with Ipad and report people who have a little bit of money in their machines and people loose but was not sure. but now I know. Went there last night and did VERY well!! $$$$ The only thing I did not like is that unlike other casinos I've been to, there were no cocktail waitresses coming by the slots to ask to see if you wanted more drinks. That meant me leaving the slot that I was enjoying and others were waiting for to go and get a drink. Other than that, loved the service I did receive (cutie in the bar/grill place in there..forgot the name...great drinks!) and how even though it was full of people, there were enough slots to play. Went tonight with some friends. My husband goes to Riverwind often. I was playing several machines. I went to get on a machine & seen a card was inside it still, I asked the lady on the next machine if anyone was sitting there & she said no. I pulled the card out placed it on the machine & put my card in the machine with my ticket. I played for a few minutes & cashed out & went on to the next machine.1 hour later I'm approached by 2 security guards & a manager telling me that someone had their card in the machine & $10 inside the machine & that they needed my DL & that I'm not in any trouble as long as I give them the $10 back. First I'm thinking is this a joke?? $10 ?? Really ?? I cashed my ticket out on the machine I was playing at & then handed it to them. I asked how they know it was $10 & they had reviewed the surveillance. It's a shame that for $10 you will be losing my business as well as my husbands business. I called him & he immediately called & cancelled his hotel stay that was scheduled for Monday. I was so embarrassed!!! The place was busy! I'm shocked they would not just comp someone the money that would leave money in a machine & walk away! For the price of a room $200 a night they are very small. No Fridge. We were told we were not allowed to walk the halls in our bare feet. Ate at the buffet. Won't do that again Most of the food was stone cold. The prime rib was the worst, besides being cold was so tuff you could hardly cut it, The machines are in desperate need of repair. Most of the card readers don't work. Was sitting at a machine that said please call attendant. When he got there all he did to fix the problem was bang and shake the machine. Every time this happened I did the same thing to make it work. he place needs a lot better ventilation for the cig smoke. Most of theother hotels in the area are half the price and a lot bigger rooms. Wouldn't stay there again even if the room was free. read more

BEWARE when using ATM machine at Riverwind Casino. I withdrew 200.00 from account and checked my acct the next morning. Discovered that 400.00 had been deducted from my bank account! I contacted Riverwind Casino supervisor I was transferred 2 times and disconnected and was told there was nothing they could do. They said I would have to contact the ATM company. Since this is a holiday weekend they are closed until Tuesday. Riverwind didn't even bother to ask which ATM it was so this wouldn't happen to anyone else. PISSED!! read more

We had several couples getting together for birthdays. The person planning the event booked multiple rooms for us. We got player's cards, checked into the hotel where they got our names and credit cards, had birthday dinner at Chips and Ales then spent the evening and a lot of $ in the casino. The hotel desk person said to go to guest services to see about getting our room comped. The casino said we couldn't because our name is not in the hotel's computer since our friend booked it. The hotel said they couldn't correct the name. They know we paid for the room. They can see the points on our player's cards. Seems like common sense to us. Both the casino and hotel said "Next time..." Do you really think there will be a next time when we paid over $200.00 for a room when we could have just driven home to Edmond for free? We stopped in after attending a wedding in Kansas. We drove around for several minutes trying to find a parking place and decided to use valet parking. We were really surprised to find out it was "free." We went in got a bite to eat then gambled at the machines. We had a nice visit -- we thought. I tipped the person $5 who brought me my car. After I got onto the highway I looked down at my gas tank and it was on a quarter of a tank, little below. We had filled up on the road at next to last service in Kansas and had at least 3/4 of a tank or better. We have a GPS so I looked up the casinos phone number and called security. They wanted me to come back and fill out paper work. Texas and other states beware! Check your tank before using valet parking and let them see your gage before they take your car. I can afford to lose the $35 or so it cost to fill up but I do not like their policy. You can neither file a complaint by mail or email. You have to do it in person. That was my first and last visit. read more

The casino is big and nice. But, their Players club card rewards is absolutely a JOKE! They used to be fair with their rewards, now after gambling over 3,000 all I got on my card was 4 dollars and 43 cents. Don't get the card, the rewards are little or nothing. They have definitely changed it. Very, very cheap now. And by the way, stay out of their race book (horse race betting), they have 2 woman working in the betting windows that make many, many mistakes. They are too busy gabbing and carrying on back and forth with each other, to pay attention in punching the correct bets on the tickets. My husband placed a $100. bet on a 17/1 shot (to win), and my husband noticed that she punched place (pl), which is very small letters when he went up to collect (small letters, hard to see). When the horse won, he went to the window to collect his winnings of $1,880. - she tried to pay him $580. My husband refused to take this cause he knew it was wrong, she proceeded to say it was a place bet and this was when he discovered her mistake. My husband said no way, and demanded to see a supervisor. He never, ever bets to place or show, doesn't believe in betting anything but win on individual horses. He had several witnesses, who signed statements that he had bet this horse to win. He was taken for $1,300. They say that the General Manager will call us, we will see. Instead of gabbing, they need to pay attention to punching in the correct info. on their customers bets. It's the customers money being gambled, not theirs so these woman could care less about making mistakes. I gave 2 stars only because I enjoy the rest of the casino and enjoy their slot machines. The manager needs to manage the race book, since he has a bunch of brainless women working up there. I hope things will change there, and I sure hope that the General Manager calls us soon or we won't be back. The tellers should have to read back what's on the ticket before they hand it to the customer to double check their work. Having played since the casino opened I among others believe that the machines have been tightened up severely as of late. Recently even getting a fun pay for play experience has become increasingly difficult due to the amount of dead spins and overall machine pay outs. Nobody expects to hit a jackpot every visit but visiting multiple times a month only to watch your credits reduce(gambling considered) at an alarming rate and the reduction of even hearing of "big wins" or jackpot hits paired with the horrible customer service lack of fair compensations and the minimal $5 free play. I along with others are beginning to save for trips to Non-Chickasaw gaming casinos. Hopefully somewhere someone is listening and can loosen the grip Chickasaw has on the machines making losing money at least fun on a pay to play level again and hopefully getting some smiles and better attitudes on their employees improving customer service. Compensation department needs revamped or something considering it seems completely absent . The Rewards department could use some attention also so that repeat visitors throughout the month are rewarded similarly to the one visit high spender. Hopefully I'll hear good things in the near future about Chickasaw gaming casinos,if not it's a shame that something that was once a fun time to waste money has become just a waste of money. read more

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel in October 2011 and were treated like Queens and many staff members asked how everything was even if the bed was comfortable? We stayed again this past weekend (Dec. 2011) to see Sara Evans and wow what a difference in just two months! We never slept all night for loud banging of doors in the middle of the night up and down the halls and the parking lot same thing with banging doors all night long not to mention something the hotel sprayed up and down the halls smelled like cinnamon and was a total irritant to the throat and nose. When we got to our room to go to sleep we realized there was cold air coming in around the "window heating unit". I ended up stuffing a towel all around it to keep out the cold air. At this point we felt we were in a motel not hotel. Then we were woke up bright and early at 7 am (when we could have slept in) by the alarm the maid forgot to turn off when she cleaned the room. Then to jump in the shower and realize we had NO hot water - cold showers for both of us! Needless to say we were eager to depart this hotel quickly! Upon checking out, not one staff member asked how our stay was, not even the lady checking us out. All I was asked upon leaving was "ready to check out?" Of course my answer was Yes! I guess it was for the best because if she had asked me how everything was, I would not have been able to lie. For $160.00/nite we won't be staying here again - I think their "new" wore off. You gotta be kidding me. I go in on Friday, and in the middle of eating I had a random lady that worked there say I was going over. I'm assuming the waitress we had said something and said they needed tables. There were over 10 available tables, all covered in a complete mess. They were lazy, and the waitress just wanted a new customer for money. I was disgusted by that experience. The waitress waited until after that random person came up to me before clearing several dirty plates that sat there for the longest time. I payed money to have a good experience, and it was ruined by money hungry assholes that do not give a crap about a customers experience at all. I was very paranoid after that person talked to me and just left because they say I went over and needed tables. It was such a lie because of all the available filthy tables they left sitting there like that. Putrid beyond words. It takes up to 15 minutes before good crab legs are brought out which takes up time and I don't eat like I'm in the olympics. They rush you and they shouldn't. PEOPLE DON'T PAY TO BE ASKED TO LEAVE. My rating is mainly for "fairness". This casino is the pirate on land. Boyfriend and I stop by for second times to play baccarat. We play on Tuesday morning from 1am-6am. We both play separately & we have up & down with our cards. We tips the dealer once a while as well as the waitress when we ask for water etc. Roughly at 5-6am the cards were dealt..( there are 5 players at the table (including myself & I) ...) and exposed as player win of 7 over 5 with a draw card. ;)... Three of us bet players, ( bf & I plus another lady.) ...yay we win, we all thought so but. Oh wait we didn't win!!!!!!!!! @!@!@.. Because the machine blink on 'red' meaning banker suppose to win ....ummmm????? You deal out the cards and you expose the hands and you draw the cards and machine said no its not right?? The floor supervisor made a phone call after call and he asks the dealer to change the card to look like what's on the screen before another higher supervisor come in... What a joke.. The other supervisor just said I look at the video surveillance and this is so and so the dealer did... And he took all the suppose o be winning bet.... Machine/ dealer fault? We don't know but money bet was count as a lost.... Be your own judge if you want to be in a casino that if they mess up they still take your money. ( others told us, one week ago same thing happen but the different was the cards reveal as the players lost not winning and the machine light was on opposite and floor still count the hand as according to the card being reveal.. And the players lost their money.. Even if the machine says they win!!! ;).... ). But they did offer us comp for the steak house or buffet??!?!? We ask for an hotel instead but sorry cant do...
