The food and drinks were good! Service was amazing and the atmosphere was breathtaking! Came for my birthday.

Great location and service. Menu was thin. Drinks were weak. Food was good, not great. Both were overpriced.

The fried chicken wasn't the best. Will not recommend. Not enough seasoning. But there is good view of the city

The server came by with menus and told us there was a water station at the end of the bar. I ordered a strawberry mocktail which was a bit sour for my liking. They have many items marked on their menu with GF but I didn't see any GF reviews online so I asked how everything was prepped. The server confirmed all GF items have a separate prep area. I ordered the K&A salad which was delicious but a very big portion. Then my friend and I shared a GF cheese pizza. The crust was perfect! Def a great place to check out!

Both were horrible. After sitting, it took forever to get our drinks and food took forever to come out. My mom ordered a beet salad which they made with no beets, all the food was cold, staff couldn't tell if anything was gluten free once we got everything and we never got checked on after getting our food. We were supposed to get a discount for having run which the waitress "forgot" about which one applied, saved us over $80. We paid $400 for mediocre food, abhorrent service, and a waitress who had a bad attitude. Would never come back like what?

Pretty busy inside around the bar where they do tastings, lots of tables in the next room with a couple food windows and bars set up. Outside, bags games and other outdoor games with surrounding tables and a Daddy's Dogs stand. A coupe more outdoor rooms with bars and such. We found a room in the back that was fairly empty. Three sides open to queue up to for placing an order, the bartender was doing his best but had no concept of who got there when, so he kept waiting on people that had just walked up while others had been waiting their turn continued to wait. I ordered a seltzer type drink that was refreshing on the warmer than usual day. It was fun, sitting around and watching all that was going on.

This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.

There's a row of boots on the wall, which I think is for display only and a call out to the time when they actually sold boots here. This historic building itself feels like a shotgun (long and narrow) and apparently once served as a Civil War warehouse and later the Sho-Bud Steel Guitar Company. To prolong our stay, we ordered cheeseburgers and beer (fries and onion rings were extra) for brunch. I tried to interest folks in their $6 "Recession Special" - A grilled or fried bologna sandwich piled high, with a bag of potato chips, a Moon Pie, and a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) beer, but got no takers. We sat up on the balcony, which we had all to ourselves and with a nice view to the main floor below. Our waitresses were down home friendly, hard working, and good at what they were doing. We felt right at home and this was perhaps the most classic and authentic Nashville experience we had here. The band even wished my Happy Birthday. :)
