Great spot for breakfast with seriously good value. The $6 breakfast burritos are a standout fresh, filling, and way better than you'd expect for the price. There are plenty of solid breakfast options across the menu. Overall, great food, great prices, and definitely a place I'd recommend checking out.

I was craving for eggs benedict and my hubby told me this place has it. He got to eat dinner here one evening and he loved it, so he wanted me to try. We ordered classic ham eggs benedict and breakfast burrito to share. The Benedict came with rosemary potatoes which were so yummy. I love the rosemary smell with potatoes. However, I ended up liking the burrito more than the eggs benedict. This is a Mexican restaurant, so Mexican food is their specialty I guess. The burrito had a really tasty tortilla. The place is clean. Employees are friendly. The food is big portions. We got a complimentary chip basket while waiting for our food. There is a salsa bar that we can grab salsa as we like. I will come back for other dishes

$6 breakfast burritos?! $6?! Yes you read that right. And they are GOOD with a side of chips. What a treat I was able to provide Henry Mayo nurses from here. Affordable and tasty, this is what I aim for.

1st time and I am hooked! Decent portion size for the price here in Santa Clarita Valley. Chicken Piccata - 10 out of 10! Angus Asada or Carne Asada Plate - 8 out of 10 Chicken Piccata: Juicy chicken breast with creamy sauce with capers with mash potatoes and mixed veggies. Realistically, I can't come here every week... I'll go broke. This Chicken Piccata has inspired me to learn how to cook this dish the exact same way. Angus Asada or Carne Asada Plate: Carne asada grilled and cut in strips mixed with sautéed onions. Fluffy spanish rice. Instead of beans I asked for a side of salad. Overall, it was good. I like my meat on the medium rare but it was a bit over cooked. Perhaps offer to tell them how you want it cooked. Service: 10 out of 10 Ambience: 4 out of 10 Could use some upgrading. Overall: I'm hooked on the food, which is a huge triumph here in SCV, overlooks the Ambience piece.

My boyfriend and I are on a mission to try every single restaurant, diner and eateries in Santa Clarita. By far, this place makes the top list. We couldn't find parking in the front. There is extra parking in the back. We walked in, was welcomed and found a booth. There is a lot of seating and booths are comfortable. We ordered the California omelette, chilaquiles and the Almond crusted French toast. Everything was DELICIOUS. The presentation of food was amazing, made it seem I was eating at a high scale restaurant in the city. Service was amazing. The waitress always checked on us and asked if we needed anything. I give 10 stars if I could. A definite must try in Santa Clarita.

I've been a fan of the Sun Valley RJM for years. We happened to be in the area, and decided to check out the Santa Clarita branch. The food is still excellent. My favorite are the barbacoa tacos and tuna tacos. Their shrimp salad and tuna salad are also fabulous. I'm also a fan of the pastas. Really, you can't go wrong with whatever you order. Rosie and her family is always warm and welcoming. The only bummer is it can get hot inside.

Amazing food and service. Handmade tortillas. Salsa bar with delicious salsas. Really decent prices with huge portions and fresh ingredients. - Chilaquiles: 5+/5. Great flavor while still having a bit of a crunch to the tortilla chips. Paid +$3.25 to have carne asada and it was a very generous portion - Breakfast chipotle quesadilla: 5/5 great flavor. Even better with the salsa from the salsa bar - California Omelette: 4/5. Great portion and flavor. Rosemary potato had a lil too much rosemary for my partner's dad's taste - Coconut/pineapple crispy pancake: 4.5/5. To make it crispy and keep the pineapple from getting soggy edges of the pancake were a lil drier but rest of pancake was delicious. Lots of fresh berries with it Also ordered Spanish latte which was delicious and served in a huge cup. Service was A+ - very attentive. Meal was about $65 after coffee and extra toast. Would definitely come again.

This place is soooo good!!! What a gem!!! I wish i had known about them sooner! I got the chilaquiles and it was soooo good!!! Love love love!!

When was the last time you cleaned your plate at a resturant? The food was/is amazing. As soon as we came in we were seated and it just kept getting better and better. The resturant is nice, quiet. clean, 5 stars from me all around. This is an amazing spot you should check out!

I am part of a local Pokemon group. We decided to come here for breakfast. We originally were going to go to the weigh station but we're it was closing soon so we decided to come in here. So happy that we all did because they have the most delicious breakfast and the greatest food. The service was great and attentive always making sure we had what we needed. They have a great salsa bar and complimentary black beans to go with it in a little Bean Cooker right next to the salsa bar. The dishes that are served are very presentable, they look great and of course the most important thing they are very tasty. Not only are the dishes tasty but the food actually tastes fresh and the ingredients are fresh as well. They also have a vegetarian option and the prices are absolutely great.!

First time trying this place in downtown Newhall. We ordered Asada breakfast burritos, very good! You can tell if a burrito is going to be good by the tortilla, these are authentic as it gets. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone. The owners were very kind, great service.

    Shrimp pasta

Great food! Prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly and attentive. We discovered it because we saw their sign through the back door parking lot. Easily could have missed it by driving through Main Street, as it doesn't appear to have a large sign outside the building. Go check it out and support local businesses!

They are a bit out of our way, and while good, nothing there was so spectacular that I would make a special trip for it, but it was good. They are located in a strip mall location, very non-descript, and the build out is basic but clean. My daughter had described it as a "hole in the wall, but good food" restaurant. That's pretty accurate. We were greeted immediately and in a very friendly manner as soon as we entered. It seemed slow for a Friday night, but we were on the early side. We were seated at a table and brought water, chips and salsa right away. The salsa is thin and spicy, and had a good tasted to it. My wife ordered a Cadillac margarita, and I ordered a regular. The drinks were a generous pour, and they didn't scrimp on the tequila. The Grand Marnier was brought in a shot glass. Both my wife and I enjoyed our drinks. My chile relleno combo was very good, some of the biggest freakin' chiles I've seen. They tasted great and were served piping hot with rice and beans. We were visited several times by ownership. The service was top rate and very friendly. So...not enough for me to return, but that's only because of distance from our house. We have our usual place 3 minutes away, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be a first choice for you.

I only saw a bar tender who doubled as a server, and one busman in the front of house. I don't know how many were in the back, but this explains why the wait was so very long. Once seated, it was another 15 minutes to get our orders in. Once the food arrived, it was served hot as expected. My friend's chicken chipotle was delicious but my birria wasn't great. There wasn't much of it, and what was there was largely tasteless. I was given two tortillas which wasn't enough. Their salsa was outstanding though! I wanted more of that and practically drank it. Unfortunately, given my experiences, I won't go back. Management needs to hire some employees so the wait won't be so long.

We didn't get around to try any food during our visit. Unfortunately, the patio experience was ruined by a rat that stayed directly behind our table against the railing for almost our entire visit. We had to be the ones to ask to switch tables to get away from it, and while the staff apologized, no effort was made to compensate for the disruption. Many others noticed the pest and either left or tried to get the staff to handle it. What made it frustrating is that I've sat on the patio at Gus's literally four feet away dozens of times and have never seen a single pest. The pest presence here isn't just "being outdoors"--it's a clear management and sanitation issue that needs to be addressed. Decent spot for cheap drinks, but I wouldn't sit on the patio again until they get this under control and train staff on better customer recovery.

(It did look like they had heaters outside though - not too sure if they were turned on). We were seated around 7:40 and we had two waiters. We asked what the margarita flavors of the day were, and they had hibiscus, jicama cucumber, and a jalapeño pineapple. I opted for the jalapeño pineapple, while my partner got the Sabor. For appetizers we ordered the trio dip and taquitos. For entrees, we ordered the al pastor street tacos, and Enchiladas Sabor. For dessert we ordered the nutella filled churros. I believe our bill was around $135. Pros: everything came out so quickly! Drinks were LARGE. Timing of the food: Drinks were out in five minutes, appetizers in ten mins of ordering, and entrees in fifteen minutes of ordering. The service was also great. Our waiter came in and checked on us, but wasn't overbearing. The quality of the food was also great. I kept saying everything felt very elevated and a great place to go for a nice dinner. I did not do any research before coming here. This was a place that my partner chose, so the two comments that I made (which I later found out was also commonly noted on Yelp) was that the Chips & Salsa were not free, and that my enchiladas did not come with rice and beans. Typically, when I go out for Mexican food, there are certain things I look forward to, so I was a little thrown off that they weren't provided here. The trio dip was a great option because it did have a bean dip as well as salsa, but it was just a bummer that it was an extra charge. Overall: great service, quality of food, very efficient, and plenty of parking.
