First time trying The Flying Yolk today and damn, that was a great breakfast burrito. I got the Steak & Eggs Burrito exactly the way it comes and it was absolutely delicious. I was actually going to take a picture for this review, but once I started eating it, I completely forgot about the picture and didn't stop until it was gone. So here's a picture of the aftermath instead. Great steak, eggs, potatoes, cheese, everything worked together and the sauces were excellent too. Definitely one of the better breakfast burritos I've had in a long time. I'll absolutely be back. Five stars from me.
We've always passed by here especially since they are next to Makenna when we would visit before they came to the SFV. Finally decided to make a trip out here to try it!! Very busy but makes sense since we came during peak hours. Ordered from their ordering kiosk, got a sandwich and their loaded tots to enjoy at home. Somehow, surprisingly, their tots stayed extra crispy when we got home!! Not that we live far or anything but usually these get soggy real fast. The extra sauces on the side were needed, overall a great spot and definitely want to try their other menu items soon!! IG: @ammysalamii
Easy to find place located in a very nice community area beside a coffee place with numerous parking. To order, had to use a kiosk, but people in the counter were very helpful. I personally love their breakfast burrito and sauce. With the price (about $15), wish the burrito was a bit bigger. Overall, it's a solid 4/5 for me. Definitely will be back.
I had a good first impression here at The Flying Yolk in Valencia! We ordered on the self serve kiosk which was convenient. It was only about 10 minute wait for the food. It was very clean in the restaurant and there were lots of places to sit. It was a big menu, with lots of options, I decided on a classic breakfast burrito. I was a bit underwhelmed by the scrambled eggs themselves in my burrito because they didn't taste too special, given that the place specializes in eggs, but the burrito and sauces were super tasty and I loved the tots! Next time I'd like to try out a breakfast sandwich instead.
This place could be avoided, but is moderately enjoyable if you look past being overcharged for what you get. It has been expensive and busy since day 1, granted that is largely from the demand of the area. The Breakfast Burrito has a creamy aioli type sauce and is not a "salsa-centric" sort of BB, which is typically what I prefer. The flavor was okay nonetheless. The burrito wasn't very big either for $14.50+ tax, but it's SCV and you win some, you lose some. It still has its "own unique flavor," and I no doubt believe that it has many lovers. It was a strong MID burrito. My daughter had the Nutella croissant and she enjoyed it, or at least she ate the strawberries and some of half. Hard to say if it was fresh bread or "thawed." The "side of tots" is just potato tater tots from the supermarket. Not worth it. I think I will try this place 1 more time. We shall see. You've been warned.
I really wanted to love this place as I'm a sucker for breakfast food. However, the flavors were just average. We ordered a maple fried sandwich (no bacon, sub turkey sausage) and a Carolina reaper burrito (no bacon, sub avocado). Both items were edible but not out of this world. For example, the Carolina reaper burrito is marketed as being spicy. There was nothing spicy about it. And the maple bacon sandwich didn't wow me either. The tater tots were good though. They do have a sauce counter with a variety of options so that you can dress up your food to your liking. They have Louisiana hot sauce, Cholula, mild green salsa, and fly sauce. Ample dining area with indoor and outdoor options. Clean space. Large parking lot.
Came here with some friends and I loved the tater tots!! They were the perfect kind of crunchy and really well seasoned lol. The Flying Fried was also good! Like the bread was soft to bite into, and the bacon + tater tots inside added the perfect crunch. I'd definitely order it again. I also tried the Iced Maple Oat Latte, and it was good, but I think I'd want to try a different drink next time. Overall, we really enjoyed brunch :)
Fly me to the moon.. or in this case a frying pan to cook the perfect egg for the breakfast sandwich known as avocado morning. I got it on gluten free toasted bread, it was delicious! And the bread didn't fall apart which is five stars in my book. I met my girl friend here for brunch, she grabbed the Dani burger which has a beef patty with a fried egg! She said it was really good, just a little bit messy to eat. The inside has seating along the front and side, and a patio which we ate out on. A small menu but you can substitute on most items to create your own (in a sense). A self service kiosk or have the cashier ring you up. They have a few drink options and some sides as well as some sweet breakfast items too.
Came for brunch! It's a very chill spot with great outdoor seating. They even have games to entertain the kids. The seating area has umbrellas so you aren't sitting under the sun directly. We had chorizo breakfast tacos and waffles. The tacos definitely had a kick to them but it gave them a great flavor. I would recommend this place for a nice brunch.

So good. Also had the smore latte, also very good. It looks like a spot youd be more comfortable grabbing for to-go but it still has lots of seating inside and out. Menu isnt overwhelming but they hit all the right notes. What can I say, good breakfast. Not the diner feel though if thats what youre looking for.
Meh, another poor example of what Awesometown thinks is a great breakfast option. The prices and size of the food are really the only thing good about this spot. It's hard to find a place that gets you two breakfast items for $20 when so many places are charging $15-20 just for a breakfast burrito alone. I ordered online for pick-up and my food was ready right when I walked in. The breakfast sandwich had nice and crispy bacon but the bread was bland and dry, the hashbrowns just disappeared into the sandwich, and there really wasn't any seasoning. The breakfast burrito was hefty but poorly wrapped. The eggs were cooked well and the hashbrowns were crispy, but the bacon was chewy and fatty while the grilled onions seemed to be missing. The salsa was bland and watery and the "fly sauce" was all mayo and no heat or tang or any spice. Just a boring spot not worth another visit.
When you walk in, you can order on one of the wall tablets or at the register. I ordered the "Flying Fried" which comes with a fried egg (I substituted scrambled eggs), bacon, cheese, and tater tots. I recommend to get the "Fly Sauce" on the side. It was cheesy and delicious! I also ordered a side of tater tots which were a little too crispy for me and lacked the soft center. Overall, it's a good casual breakfast spot that also serves burritos and waffles.

Eli was absolutely amazing! From the moment we got there, he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He introduced himself, was incredibly friendly and attentive, helped clean the table for us and help us get all the sauces and napkins we needed! It's rare to have someone in the front of house who genuinely seems to care about making customers feel welcome, and Eli definitely did that. He was knowledgeable, personable, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell he takes pride in his job and actually enjoys helping people. Big shoutout to Eli -- employees like him are what make people want to come back. Flying Yolk is lucky to have him! read more

Stopped off at the Valencia location of The Flying Yolk with my girlfriend to try out one of their breakfast sandwiches. We ordered ahead online so after receiving a notification via text, we stopped by to pick up our breakfast sandwiches and decided to eat in one of their wonderfully shaded outdoor patio seats. I went with the Flying Fried ($8.95) sandwich. After telling the nice young man our names, he provided our orders with a smile and we went outside to enjoy. My sandwich looked pretty tasty. A combination of a fried egg, savory bacon & melted cheese with crushed tater tots & signature "Fly Sauce" to enjoy. The sandwich was hot, fairly good sized and appealing. The first bite was quite good. I really liked the sauce mixed in with the crispiness of the tater tots. The egg and bacon were good but the sauce and the tots really make the sandwich. The soft brioche bun is a great, delicious vehicle to enjoy your breakfast snack in. Overall, a pretty decent sandwich as a good price. They have a few other sandwiches and tasty sweet treats on the menu that are worth exploring on my next visit. read more

What a tasty breakfast sandwich! Ordered the Flying Fried and wow! Get a load of charred bacon, cheesy goodness, crispy tater tots, and a good ole scrambled egg. All on brioche bread--yum! So delicious with a refreshing orange juice! I can go without their house sauce as it's a bit too sweet for my taste so I would definitely order it on the side before committing to it! The food was amazing! The Steak N Bacon Street Wrap was so good, highly recommend 10/10. It also came with their signature fly sauce which was really good too. My girlfriend got their S'more's açaí bowl and loved it too. The service was good and the scenery of the place is a nice and casual. Definitely coming back next time we're in SCV. read more

I got the Breakfast burrito, which has scrambled eggs, bacon, grilled onions, cheese, tater tots, and sauce!!! Salsa on the side which was great to pair it with. I thought it was pretty delicious and wasn't dry. I definitely don't mind coming back here to bring my girlfriend next time. I also got one small acai bowl on the side and it was a perfect heavy breakfast to fill me up for the day. There were strawberry slices, blueberries, and granola ontop, pretty standard. I thought that everything tasted fresh. The inside of the cafe is modern with plentiful seating inside and out. We were able to find parking easily. The pricing was pretty reasonable, I thought the burrito was very heavy and a good size for the price. read more

Food: Great menu variety with a range of breakfast burritos, sandwiches, and waffles. Prices are very reasonable considering how big the portions are. I ordered the regular breakfast burrito and added jalapeños, with a side of tater tots that I asked to be cooked well done. The breakfast burrito was extremely flavorful and packed with tons of bacon, egg, cheese, and tots. I really appreciate that they don't skimp on portions here. The burrito is huge so much so that I ended up splitting it with my husband. I also really enjoyed the salsa it comes with, and I asked for a side of their hot Flying Yolk sauce, which was a game changer! The tater tots were super good and perfectly crispy. I highly recommend asking for them to be made well done; it really adds to the flavor. Just like the burrito, they were generous with the portion size. Overall, the food is a 10/10. I can't wait to try more of their menu items! Service is very friendly and the food comes out in a reasonable amount of time. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, with the indoor area having a cool, modern vibe. The store is also very clean and well kept. Finally Tried the Flying Yolk in Valencia. Staff is is friendly and welcoming . The store is cute and located in a great plaza. I ordered the Avocado toast and i couldn't be happier. The Toast was toasted to perfection it has tomato , avocado and egg. read more

The place is located in a shopping center and it is at the corner of the mall. Small but enough seating inside and out. The place isn't a regular restaurant, it's an order and sit or take away. There is a tablet located by the door where you order and wait to be called. For being this type, the food was pretty tasty! The waffle is crispy yet soft inside and the toppings are good! There is a drink machine where you can make your drink selection or just plain coffee.if you want something special, you need to order and they will make it for you! Stopped next door for coffee and decided to grab breakfast. YUM. I got the maple fried sandwich and added a patty. They messed my order up the first time but were SO quick to fix the problem. Definitely a great quick service spot with quality food. I'll be making the trip back! read more
Great place for breakfast/brunch if you're passing by Santa Clarita. Super affordable prices and quick and easy ordering through the app/online. I got the breakfast sandwich for $8.50. The sunny side egg was cooked perfectly with the extremely crispy bacon which I love! Their spicy mayo sauce on the breakfast sandwich is also super rich and decadent and pairs perfectly well with the sandwich. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area! read more

There is a shopping center around Valencia that serves some pretty good breakfast burrito and this is the spot to be. There is plenty of parking and the entrance is next to a coffee shop. The place is very spacious and feels like one of those diners. You can order on the kiosk or talk to the hostess in the front and the food is easily picked up at the counter. Pretty much everything self service. The breakfast burrito is definitely delicious and I definitely encourage everyone to try this out read more

Flying yolk is definitely a good breakfast place to go if you love eggs and you love sandwiches, bacon, cheese, and sauce flying yolk is your go to my favorite is always the flying fried but today I tried the flying maple fried and today they even had a buy one get one deal, which made it very efficient and helpful Customer service is very kind and honest it always offer you to help in any way. Environment is clean and service is great overall great experience. read more
