He was very understanding of the level of detail that went into the style of kitchen that we were trying to achieve. Despite having to make several revisions to the configurations along the way, he was still very understanding and patient through it all and ultimately was able to accurately portray our vision of the end result by matching my design 1 for 1. He's also very knowledgeable in his expertise as he offered his opinions on my design and was quick to point out any flaws with it. He was also very thoughtful in a sense that he tried to correct my kitchen design to make it as safe as possible knowing that we have a little baby around the house. The quality of the cabinets is top notch superb. No damage during the receiving process. The fitment was outstanding. Our contractor was able to install everything with ease. Everything came out to be a perfect tight fit with no gap or sagging issues. We were very happy to have settled with the European style cabinets as they are a lot more customizable and easily modifiable to fit one's needs. Not to mention they also look much more aesthetically pleasing to the eyes especially with the walnut laminate panels. The sleek flat-faced look really adds to the simplicity and complements the rest of the kitchen theme of keeping it as minimalistic and modern as possible.

I will come back again to help my family with another cabinet order in the future. Thanks, Cindy. Lisa L.

After visiting this store, we were very impressed and satisfied with both the products and service. Their closet organizer systems offer great value, and the designer was experienced, knowledgeable, and very helpful throughout the process. We simply provided the dimensions and shared our expectations for each of our four closets, and they created designs that matched our needs perfectly. We are very happy with both the final designs and the quality of the products. Highly recommended!

We had measurements and some ideas of what we wanted. Once contracted, their in-house installation team later came out of verify our measuring skills. We agreed upon the price for both cabinets and the installation, we set a date. Keypoints: They had all material in stock. They offered to start demo work the next day. We were not ready, we took a week to clear and pack up kitchen. The whole process took 7 days, not weeks as other contractors quoted us. The installation team was the hardest working I ever seen. They cleaned everything up and disposed of all demo materials. I starting quoting the kitchen project 3 years ago and the pricing and project time were very expensive and told it could months to complete . You can do this project on your own. Hire yourself, be the project manager yourself. Ask for better pricing like you are a contractor , and hire KZ Kitchens for both product and the installation. But go in prepared too. They didn't do the lights in the picture. The was Delton Electric in San Jose.

East Star in Fremont is always very busy on weekends, and for good reason. Prices are reasonable…read moreand big selection of premier brands for faucet/shower/bathroom (Hansgrohe, Toto, Grohe, etc). They also carry quality, "good-enough" budget options (for items like kitchen sink) and occasionally some very interesting wall tile designs. We got countertop slabs here - lots of selection, price was cheaper, and the main surface looked good. However, pattern continuity from main surface to the narrow side edge gets distorted with some batches, especially with patterns emphasizing stripes/veins. So pay attention to the side edge of their standard quartz slabs. We worked with Jaime, who is the best. We've probably been to East Star at least 20 times. Spacious parking lot, convenient location off 880, big bright showroom, and very reasonable prices.

Have to come here and downgrade my rating after the recent experience…read more I remodeled both the master bathroom and the guest bathroom, when I made the purchases, I made it for both and some items were not available during pick up. I was told that they would let me know once they have new inventory. This went on for 2 months and I got no calls. So I had to call them and found out that they did have incoming inventory but the sales person never made the call. Then when I went to pick up, the delivery department insisting an item was picked up while the order was circled from last time indicating it was not picked up. We had to go back, searched high and low with our contractors and confirmed that we never had the item. Then we went through the hassle of emailing and calling them to finally have their agreement to pick up the item. When I thought this is all done, the contractor discovered that a part was missing from the box and I had to call them again. Interestingly they don't seemed surprised. For more than the third time, I went to pick up that missing part and they had a standard form to sign. Probably means this happens a lot? So my advice is that pick up right away after you place the order, if they don't have the items available, cancel them immediately. Also, check every box at pick up to make sure what you have are good, but it can be hard if you don't know what to look for. So now to go over the whole journey and talk about the value of the shop, I'm not sure it's that top notch. Perhaps just focus on what you can buy immediately, pick up, check and leave will be the best value. If you can't get it right away there, leave and find somewhere else.

Beautiful Bathroom Remodel - Great Experience from Start to Finish…read more This was our first home remodeling project, so we really didn't know what to expect. From the design phase all the way to the final inspection, the entire process was smooth and easy. Tony and his crew did an excellent job and paid close attention to every detail during construction. I was also worried about the mess and dust that usually comes with remodeling, but they were very careful and cleaned everything at the end of each day, which we really appreciated. Thank you Joseph and Avi for coordinating everything so well. We absolutely love our new bathroom!

Construction & More recently completed a full home renovation for my home in Fremont. From…read morebeginning to end, our points of contact, Avi & Joseph have gone above and beyond for our project, walking us through the planning phases, permitting, design, construction and finishing work of the renovation. They were able to make a normally very stressful process almost stress-free, so much so that all I had to do was say "yes or no" when it came to key decisions. The Construction & More team took lead in the painful parts of dealing with permitting, PG&E, and subcontractors. They also got us in contact with their preferred vendors to help us with discounts on appliances, finishes and other materials we needed to purchase out of pocket. Overall, I found the Construction & More team extremely professional, transparent, organized, communicative and punctual when it came to the end-to-end process. They truly helped guide us through the process so we didn't have any surprises and helped us navigate any hiccups that came up. Normally, construction companies get a bad rap of being dishonest and trying to add in hidden fees and such, but Construction & More is a truly forthcoming and hardworking group of contractors who have your best interest at heart when it comes to your project no matter how big or small. For the process itself, we began with a consultation at our home to walk through the work we wanted the Construction & More team to do. For us, it was a full renovation which included removing a kitchen wall to create an open concept kitchen & living room, adding a mud room, expanding the master bedroom, moving the front and garage doors, as well as moving the ceilings to create a more open space. After the consultation was completed, we met with Avi & Joseph at their office to discuss an estimate and timeline for the work we needed done about (6-months time, pending no delays). Avi & Joseph respected our budget and were upfront and honest of how to stay within the budget and what were non-negotiables that we needed to get done. They really helped us understand what work was critical and what were nice to have to make our living space better. Once we agreed on the work, they promptly sent over a contract for signature, created a whatsapp group for real time communication, and next steps. Overall this initial process took about a week after negotiations and contract reviews. Once construction began, the team coordinated all the work. They made sure that all moving parts were well executed while setting a realistic timeline for the work to be done. All the subcontractors and tradesmen were effectively scheduled, where there wasn't a single day where there was no work being done. I felt that the team ensured that the construction was moving swiftly and the crew was respectful of our space. The crew made sure that our home was properly locked up and cleaned up after each day's work. Additionally, all the detailed finishing work was measured and completed with precision, where all the tiles placed were measured with a laser. As a bonus, the crew was also super respectful to our neighbors which is an extra plus! If you're considering a renovation of any size, but especially a full home renovation, I could not rave more about Construction & More. Their expertise, professionalism, thoroughness and transparency really sets them apart from the competition. I'm extremely grateful and happy with the outcome of our renovation! Good work guys!!
