April spent hours with me in the store reviewing on the design of our bathrooms and made recommendations on materials that would last in the long run while giving us very competitive prices!! When we ran into issues with our contractors, April was very responsive and helped us along the way until the issues were resolved. We ended up getting a lot of things from U-Save including Toto toilets, bathtubs, faucets, shower heads, windows, Porcelenosa tiles, bathroom vanities, even bathroom accessories such as towel rings, toilet paper holder, etc. Overall a truly personalized experience that it's not easy to find anymore in this industry. They are cheap, so if you need cheap but not well made, go for it. I bought a vanity elsewhere. The staff are really pleasant and we are happy with our interactions. Remember, CASH OR CHECK only. We had to run to the BOA on Mission to pay for our toiliets.

Have to come here and downgrade my rating after the recent experience…read more I remodeled both the master bathroom and the guest bathroom, when I made the purchases, I made it for both and some items were not available during pick up. I was told that they would let me know once they have new inventory. This went on for 2 months and I got no calls. So I had to call them and found out that they did have incoming inventory but the sales person never made the call. Then when I went to pick up, the delivery department insisting an item was picked up while the order was circled from last time indicating it was not picked up. We had to go back, searched high and low with our contractors and confirmed that we never had the item. Then we went through the hassle of emailing and calling them to finally have their agreement to pick up the item. When I thought this is all done, the contractor discovered that a part was missing from the box and I had to call them again. Interestingly they don't seemed surprised. For more than the third time, I went to pick up that missing part and they had a standard form to sign. Probably means this happens a lot? So my advice is that pick up right away after you place the order, if they don't have the items available, cancel them immediately. Also, check every box at pick up to make sure what you have are good, but it can be hard if you don't know what to look for. So now to go over the whole journey and talk about the value of the shop, I'm not sure it's that top notch. Perhaps just focus on what you can buy immediately, pick up, check and leave will be the best value. If you can't get it right away there, leave and find somewhere else.

From the design phase all the way to the final inspection, the entire process was smooth and easy. Tony and his crew did an excellent job and paid close attention to every detail during construction. They were able to make a normally very stressful process almost stress-free, so much so that all I had to do was say "yes or no" when it came to key decisions. The Construction & More team took lead in the painful parts of dealing with permitting, PG&E, and subcontractors. They also got us in contact with their preferred vendors to help us with discounts on appliances, finishes and other materials we needed to purchase out of pocket. Overall, I found the Construction & More team extremely professional, transparent, organized, communicative and punctual when it came to the end-to-end process. They truly helped guide us through the process so we didn't have any surprises and helped us navigate any hiccups that came up. Normally, construction companies get a bad rap of being dishonest and trying to add in hidden fees and such, but Construction & More is a truly forthcoming and hardworking group of contractors who have your best interest at heart when it comes to your project no matter how big or small. For the process itself, we began with a consultation at our home to walk through the work we wanted the Construction & More team to do. For us, it was a full renovation which included removing a kitchen wall to create an open concept kitchen & living room, adding a mud room, expanding the master bedroom, moving the front and garage doors, as well as moving the ceilings to create a more open space. After the consultation was completed, we met with Avi & Joseph at their office to discuss an estimate and timeline for the work we needed done about (6-months time, pending no delays). Avi & Joseph respected our budget and were upfront and honest of how to stay within the budget and what were non-negotiables that we needed to get done. They really helped us understand what work was critical and what were nice to have to make our living space better. Once we agreed on the work, they promptly sent over a contract for signature, created a whatsapp group for real time communication, and next steps. Overall this initial process took about a week after negotiations and contract reviews. Once construction began, the team coordinated all the work. They made sure that all moving parts were well executed while setting a realistic timeline for the work to be done. All the subcontractors and tradesmen were effectively scheduled, where there wasn't a single day where there was no work being done. I felt that the team ensured that the construction was moving swiftly and the crew was respectful of our space. The crew made sure that our home was properly locked up and cleaned up after each day's work. Additionally, all the detailed finishing work was measured and completed with precision, where all the tiles placed were measured with a laser. As a bonus, the crew was also super respectful to our neighbors which is an extra plus! If you're considering a renovation of any size, but especially a full home renovation, I could not rave more about Construction & More. The staff are all very experienced and know how to guide you through the process- they use modern computer programs to draw up your dream kitchen to exact measurements before you purchase. They are also very understanding people (I must have changed my order 50 times before shipment and they still dealt with me so patiently). If you are shopping for a home remodel (I did a complete gut of a full kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms) all for under $9k which is amazing to me.
