My brakes were fine, just a bad sensor, which I can deal with. They also found that Oxford Automotive didn't install my spark plugs correctly. I do have a small oil leak, but, the tech said that I may not need to replace the gasket and cylinder for another 6-12 months. The tech removed the spark plugs, cleaned them up and reinstalled them properly. These guys are definitely professional, courteous and not overpriced. Kudos to Brad and the tech, who I will call Curly, because I forgot his name. Thank you for restoring my faith in garages. I'm going with Delaware Automotive Services from here on out. I was out the door, paying less for the oil change than what my husband paid at Walmart for his Ford. BTW, the young man who worked on my car is very experienced in BMW's. After explaining the situation over the phone, Jim said he was able to get me in right away, so I could get back on the road ASAP. Communication was great until I discovered that the TPS monitors were not reset in my after market…read morerims. I know gas is high BUT it's ridiculous to purpose a return fee because the TPS weren't attended to during the initial appointment. Everything is different, so when I made contact a day after installation to inquire about the TPS being reset because the light on my dashboard tells me that the pressure is not registering . I realized that you had assumed that the TPS would reset themselves, well Dan they didn't and never have. Lastly, I was angry when he mentioned that lights on the dash board won't hurt the car and that other people drive with lights on theirs. I don't care what other people tolerate, that's not my cup of tea. I keep my vehicle how I want it PERIOD. Light free dash! Would you mention that to a Dublin or Upper Arlington customer? I didn't even make it to the point of having them put new tires on my BMW. I ordered some tires from tire rack, and it chose precision as my shop. Per tracking info my tires were to arrive on a Wednesday. To get ahead of the curve of a busy schedule, I called to schedule an appointment for that day. They told me they wanted to wait until the tires arrived to schedule. Lo and behold, they showed just as tracking info stated, and could not get me in until the day after or Friday. They called me to schedule the appointment when the tires arrived and quoted 3 or more hours to mount and balance tires because they are "low profile tires". Upon telling them I would just pick up my tires and take it to another shop, they said "well they are your tires" and hung up on me. They are not customer friendly, and try to overcharge to make a quick buck. If you need a good tire shop located in Delaware, go to RNR tire on Sandusky st. They are fair priced, an absolute pleasure to work with and only seem to hire good knowledgeable technicians. RNR has my business for life, stay AWAY from Precision Alignment.
