Used to be a great shop, but quality has plummeted over the past year. They never call you back with updates. You get stuck in a loop of "hopefully today" promises that always turn into tomorrow. They even called me to pick up my car once, but when I showed up 3 hours later, there was something else broken and couldn't give it to me. To make matters worse, they have left grease all over the steering wheel and driver seat after simple oil change. After years of loyalty, I'm done. I got new tires at this location and had a terrible experience. Fast forward about 20 days and I got a flat tire. I took it too tire-choice and they didn't even look at my tire for three days. They refused to find the manufacturer warranty on the tire and insisted I buy a new tire from them as they said it wasn't repairable. I took the tire to Delaware Automotive and they repaired the tire within and hour. Tire-choice is unprofessional, unfriendly, and practically thieves whether it's intention or just due to ignorance. read more

I had a leak in my tires. When another place was booked, on 11/2/24 I went to Tire Choice at 1105 Columbus Pike in Delaware, Ohio. Even though I did not have an appointment, they fixed my car in no time while I waited. When I was ready to fork over some money, they informed me that there would be no charge whatsoever. If I could give this 0 I absolutely would. Seriously. They wanted to scam me out of almost $1,000 to supposedly "fix" my wheel bearings. My front end where the tires are was shaking and I figured it might be the bearings, key word MIGHT, so I took it to them since they're a walk away from where I work. Dude was rude from the start. "Are you sure it's the wheel bearings?" I told him it MIGHT BE and that's why I wanted him to look at it. Nothin but rude stares. He called me back later that day and was super rude about it being the bearings. Quoted me $930 something, plus tax it would've been close to $1,000. Which I don't have. Something didn't seem right, so I took it to my mechanic for a second opinion. There was NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with my car. It was ice packed up in the suspension and the wheel wells! Honesty goes a long way with mechanics, and these people didn't get very far. You regretfully telling me I'm right when I was wrong isn't professional. At all. I left my car sit for two nights, as I needed to wait for a tow. Manager calls me a couple days in and says, "When are you getting your car?" In the rudest tone possible. Professional much? You can't scam every woman that walks through your doors. Do better. read more

Last few times I've been to this shop have been awful considering the fact I was lied to and then had a service done incorrectly and then when I asked to correct it was given attitude from the the tech that made the mistake AND the new assistant manager. When Stephen Deitch was the assistant manager, this place was always my first choice to come and get something looked at or fixed. I was always taken care of and made sure things were all in working order. After Stephen left this store I went in and got new rear tires put on my car. While my vehicle was in the shop and up in the air I asked the new assistant manager if they could take a look at my brakes because they felt like they getting pretty close to needing new pads. He walked in and I saw him look, he came back and told me they were almost metal to metal. Afterwards I go and order new brake pads and take time out of my own workday to do my pads. When I take the old pads off they are not even close to being past the wear line, I still went ahead and changed them and installed my new pads. I had been lied to, right to my face! This was infuriating. Anyways I went back a little while after to get my wheels balanced, maybe last time they were just having a bad day after all we all have them. I took my car in and waited about an hour to have them bring me back my keys. Once they come back with my keys they told me all my other wheels were still balanced except for one due to a bend that they found (which I was not informed of in the process of the balance). They told me they added extra weights and then swapped my front passenger wheel with the bend, with my rear passenger wheel, (when they did this I was also not informed or asked if I wanted them to do this). My car has a staggered wheel setup which means that my rear wheels are more beefy than my front wheels, so a rotation cannot be done especially if your tires are directional, I thought that they would've at least paid enough attention to my wheels or tires or my vehicle so that they would've noticed this. Instead they just proceeded to try and get me in and out of the shop as fast as they could. After I told them that they could not do this with my car and my wheels are staggered, they technician who performed the balance gave me attitude and snatched my keys back from me to go correct her mistake. While I was again waiting for them to fix their mistake I asked the assistant manager how bad the bend in my rim was and he replied with "I don't I didn't do the balance". He then walked back into the shop and didn't speak to me until my car was ready to leave. I was extremely disappointed and annoyed with everything about this visit. I used to feel welcomed into this shop and confident that I'd be taken care of, but I will 110% not be visiting this shop again. read more

The techs are very knowledgeable and friendly. They take the time to explain things in detail and easily to understand. I got my power steering flushed which I didn't really think mattered that much but they showed me the condition of the fluid and it was awful. Also during my service they explained to me that the best tires in regards to condition and thread depth should be on the rear of the vehicle in order to help recover from hydro-plane situation better. I always thought best tires should be on the front of vehicle but I did some digging after and found many sites that state what they explained. The services I had done took a little longer than anticipated but I am glad they took the time to thoroughly make sure everything was done right. read more

Manager tried to scam me. Told me I needed a new muffler, catalytic converter and exhaust pipes which normally costs $1600 in parts (this number appears to be completely made up) but offered to make me a deal and install everything that day for only $900 Labor included. Took the car to a mechanic buddy who informed me that I'm simply missing three small nuts and a gasket so the actual repair will cost less than five dollars plus a case of beer for my friend. Also the manager was smoking cigarettes inside the shop and acted very unprofessionally. I work hard for my money and I don't appreciate people trying to cheat me read more

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Took my car to get a repair. When I got it back, the car sounded awful and the part was not even properly reattached to the car. Took the car back in to them and they said they need to do another major repair. Three untrained people were able to tell immediately that the car sounded off as soon as I picked up from them. Don't know if was a lack of attention to detail or if they caused the damage leading to the second repair. Afterward, I went to another shop in town and they charged me half of what Monro was going to charge for the second repair. read more

We have got a rattling exhaust heat shield which makes big unpleasant noise on a Saturday afternoon (several hours ago). Determined to have this fixed today, we searched several locations around Delaware and only got a quote for 35 bucks. It is not bad but we have to wait until Monday. Very fortunately however, we drove to this location at last in the hope of having a quick fix. They just helped us fix the dangling part with a cable tie and didn't charge us a penny!!! This is a huge favor! Even though the problem is very minor, we really appreciate the help and the guys saved our weekend! A waste of 4 hours. After being told I would get an estimate in 2 hours I called in after 2 1/2 hours to be told my car had not been looked at but was next. An hour and a half later still no call, went back and car was still in the same place I left it. Had I been told from the beginning they were too busy to get to it I could have made other arrangements. I will never go back there. read more

TRIED TO RIP ME OFF. Wish I had checked reviews before wasting my Saturday. I wanted to save the time and energy of replacing the manufacturer pads on my Toyota Matrix myself. The Toyota pads (came with car) had not worn down completely and they tried to tell me that rotors ware down quicker than pads and all four rotors needed to be replaced. I asked to see the rotors 3 out of 4 showed hardly any ware and the fourth minor. They also tried to convince me that the calipers were sticking, which they were not. In final they wanted $1600.00 when all I needed was pads. Took vehicle else where and paid $350, included pads, replacing rear bearings on one side and adjusting the emergency brake. (emergency brakes did not work when I got it back from Monroe.) Will never go back, and suggest you never go here either. read more

My wife took her pathfinder in to get the oil changed and tires rotated a couple weeks ago. They did not rotate her tires and when she said that she wanted them rotated, one of the workers told her that the tires were still at 8 32nds and didn't need to be rotated. It doesn't matter what your tread depth is, you rotate tires to prevent uneven wear no matter if the tires are at 11 32nds or 5 32nds. They also tried to up sell her a bunch of stuff that was not needed for her vehicle. I'm a tech for Honda and she knows as well what is needed and what is not. It's shops like this that give us real techs a bad name. read more

What can I say. I was dealing with the manager. Matt was his name. I was told a quote of $680 to replace my stolen catalytic converter. I got my car towed there, an adjuster came out and then cut me a check for the repair. I called in and gave the senior tech the go ahead to commence working on what we have agreed. This is all Monday. I call in multiple times throughout the week to check up on the status of the repair, I am told by the manager that things are on schedule and we are looking like we will be able to be right at the quoted price. A week passes. It is now the following Monday. I call In to check on the repair and the manager tells me that they are going to be able to start the work now because insurance gave them the go ahead.... my insurance company assured me they did not call in because they already cut me a check. The manager flat out lied to me. To top it all off, the manger calls me and says. "Actually, the fix is going to be around $1300" after a week of them having my car and giving me the run around. Any business that is willing to flat out lie to their customers is a business that should no longer be open. We are escalating this as far up as we can. And I will ensure this never happens to another customer. read more

First vehicle there this morning and they still didn't look at it until after noon. This is after I did an online appointment. I told them it was either the fuel pump or fuel filter. When I call back 4 hours later to find out what's going on they hadn't looked at it yet. When I call back 4 hours after that the manager says it's not getting any fuel. There's some news... When I wanted to know if it would be fixed today, the manager said he was hoping it would be. All day to replace a fuel pump! When I picked up the van I asked what else they saw that I might have to worry about soon. He said they only fix the current problem, not look for anything else. They don't do shakedowns! So when it quits again tomorrow as I'm driving down the road, and it's something they would have spotted, I COULD have known ahead of time and had it fixed before I'm stranded again, maybe with an accident, probably with another tow and at least one more day of work lost. This was BY FAR the worst auto service center I've ever dealt with! read more
