I got a statement on 7/27/2026 stating I had a $30 balance on the account because of interest charged. When I inquired with the credit card company, I was told it was on "promotional balances" and that the tires I bought must not be considered a promotional balance. What a scam! I paid the $30 and closed my account. I will never deal with Discount Tire again because of this. That's just shady. It's really a shame because I like the tires and the service was good, but I won't get fooled again.

Gave Lakeside Tire a call at 4.45 PM one day, the next the tires were in and installed on 2 wheels an hour after dropping them off and they squeezed them in between jobs. Saved me so much time and trouble driving all the way up to Roanoke from Westlake. Great service and a great price. To me honesty is the most important aspect but when it comes with excellent less expensive service that is pretty hard or impossible to beat.

The woman came over and said I needed to use a different register. I asked her if I needed to re-scan everything I had already scanned. She said yes. I walked out. Today I drove almost 2 hours (4 hours round trip) to go to Costco to get the same items I was planning on buying yesterday. About a month ago I got there at exactly 8 AM to shop (not $700 that time). As I was leaving the guy ahead of me at the check-out probably did have $700 worth of merchandise. The woman at the door seemed to be checking EVERY item in his cart against his register slip. I went around and headed for the door. She yelled at me that I needed to stop and have my cart checked. A second employee also yelled the same thing. I turned and told them both that I wasn't an employee of theirs and that if they didn't trust me then they needed to hire more people on the registers. Absolutely the worst shopping experiences of my 77 years. I can only hope Costco opens a store closer to home.

When he called me, I asked him if that price covered all four brakes, rotors, and alignment, and he said yes. I wouldn't have agreed for just the rear brakes and rotors for the price we discussed. I recommend getting the work and agreed price in writing before moving forward.
