I saw some good reviews for this location, so I drove by on a Saturday right before they closed and chatted with the owner, Brian. He hopped in the car and drove 1 yard, immediately told me what he thought it was, and warned me to avoid driving the rest of the weekend as grinding the wheel in extreme heat was risky. He said to come back first thing Monday morning to get it lifted up and properly examined. Came back Monday and the team figured out I needed to replace the caliper and brakes. Price was fair and they said they could do it same day within 3 hours, so I let them work on it and had them do an oil change as well. I'm very grateful for Brian and his team, taking the time to explain what was actually needed and why, and not overselling me on additional services. He couldn't give us an estimate without seeing the car, but having decades of experience, he couldn't imagine charging thousands for rodent damage.
