I love the outdoor patio. Great place to watch sports or hang out after a Cubs game or concert. Delicious drinks! Beer, wine, margaritas, and other cocktails and shots. Excellent food menu too. The truffle fries are thick and delicious, sprinkled with Parmesan, and served with a side of homemade aioli. The vanilla bourbon burger is really juicy and fabulous. The Caesar salad is very tasty, as well as the taco salad. The blackened chicken Sammy is seasoned well and the pretzel bun is so good. The veggie taco plate is yummy too. Small little hometown bar with some decent food. My mom got the burger which looked cooked to perfection. I got the chicken tender bites which tasted good but could've used a tad bit more seasoning. The ranch however was delicious and the fries were crispy and perfectly salted. I wish I would've got the mashed potato bites because the table next to us did and they looked phenomenal - if I am ever back in the wrigley field area I will have to come back for those alone. the customer service was okay - the server was nice enough but since there looked to be only two of them and the place was busy they were running around like chickens with their head cut off. Just seeking good food and drinks in a quieter atmosphere ( skirt, not into overly loud music, even if it's something I like. We sat outside in a sidewalk tabled area. Aria was our server, and she was great: attentive and friendly. Hubby got a drink which he enjoyed and mixed well, and we shared a bbq chicken quesadilla. It was excellent, really tasty albeit a bit messy for a quesadilla but nothing that napkins couldn't handle. It had a bit of a kick with the jalapeño pieces, but I tamed it with the cilantro (?) green sauce and white crema. It really was excellent. That was it, no more room. Rest of the staff was great too. I live up the street from Roadhouse and never had the chance to stop by until my friends and I did a self-guided holiday pub crawl through Wrigley this weekend. I was nervous about how some bars treat pub crawlers but the bartender here was great!! He welcomed us and joked around and served us immediately. We had a group of 10 and they not only served us within minutes of arriving, but we also got a table out by the (virtual) fire. It's currently called Jingle Junkie and is decked out in holiday decor, including a big red Santa chair that is great for photos. I know a lot of the bigger places down the street get hype for their holiday pop ups so I wanted to shoutout this spot as well! read more

This place is amazing! I was in town with my boyfriend for a Gopher game and we were hoping to find a place to watch the Vikings before heading home. Man am I glad I found this place! Everyone was SO WELCOMING and the service was phenomenal. They made us feel right at home. Not to mention the food - holy moly. Just an awesome place and a great experience. The atmosphere had us feeling like we were back in MN! Highly recommend for Vikings fans (or anyone really). We will definitely be back the next time we're in Chicago! read more

I always have a great time when I stop by Roadhouse 66 in Wrigley! Staff is always super nice and it's always great getting to hang with Arthur when he's behind the bar. The bar is just far enough away from Wrigley that after a Cubs game it takes a little while for folks to find there way over here and for it to get super crowded. Went to the Cubs game and stopped here for a quick lunch and drinks before the 1pm game. This was a great choice. There were plenty of tables available on a game day, and Caress, our server, was very sweet and quick to get us our drinks and food. We had nachos loaded with lots of cheese and meat, very tasty. We also had their mini burger they had a little kick to them with fries. Lastly, we ordered chicken wings that were amazing. I had a tropical drink that was a bit sweet but good. My wife and friends stuck to beer We had food left over, so I asked Caress to pack it for a homeless family I noticed on the way to the restaurant. What a fun bar in Wrigleyville! It's right by the Cubs stadium. I came here on a Wednesday evening with bunch of PotterHeads among my friends for a Harry Potter Trivia. We ordered some food and drinks. I got rose and my friends ordered beers. They have good selection of draft beers. The entire bar was filled with fellow Potterheads. The place was fully packed. Still the service was amazing. We ordered sweet potato fries, guac and chips. It was pretty good. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. They did a great job at hosting HP trivia; one of the best I've attended in a while. Overall vibe is quite fun, authentic, raw but welcoming and screams Chi city. Definitely coming back! read more

Friend wanted a birthday celebration at a sports bar whwre he could watch football but with superior food. I think we found it here! We reserved space for a party of 15. All seating was hi tops which I don't love but it was comfortable enough. Nice big TVs. This place is probably nuts in Cubs season, but it was nice and low key in January. The food was great. I had the cauliflower "wings" with Asian sesame sauce instead of Buffalo. Very hefty and satisfying portion. Had the Cubano with Mac and cheese. But I could have stopped at the cauliflower, honestly. The Cubano was pretty spicy. I didn't eat much of it since I filled up on cauliflower and loaded nachos -- these two are definitely a must-order! The Mac and cheese was pretty good, I like the rotini noodles they use. Nice and buttery too. I'd go back with a sports bar loving friend. Despite it not being my own personal jam. read more

I wrote it at the beginning of COVID when everything was crazy and a group of us were trying establish a new team bar (Skol Vikings!) and negotiate all that garbage. And now, none of that is true or relevant anymore. So here is a new updated review. The food - some of the best in the area. They focus on house-smoked meat dishes but have tons of options. 5 stars. The drinks - full bar and everything is available. Good beer selection and a nice selection of unique and seasonal cocktails as well. The service - the staff is super nice and work their asses off. Matt and Drew, the two owners are super nice and great guys. These folks will take care of you. And yes, Roadhouse is the home of the Cook County Vikings Club. BEST bar food in Wrigley!!!! I have come here multiple times with my boyfriend for Vikings games. They are a Vikings bar! I've had multiple good items and they are always delicious. The bad part of this place is the DJ that insists on singing into a microphone on every song and feels the need to use profanity for no reason. Not offensive, just not entertaining in the least. I've been patronizing RH 66 since before the OG location (across from El Jardin) burned down....so I'm a little embarrassed to just NOW be writing a review. But the two locations and food couldn't be any different. The old location was fun as a late-twenty/early thirty something as it had a party atmosphere, divey interior space, and almost everything from the deep fryer menu. The "new" Roadhouse is a lot nicer inside and the menu is a notch above standard bar food and features some awesome smoked meats. Speaking of meats, the smoked wings are AWESOME! I typically prefer fried standard buffalo wings but these are in a league of their own. They are highly seasoned or rubbed, smoked and then flash fried. Plus they come un-sauced (is that a word?) but are served with two dipping sauces in tow. They are most excellent with or without the sauces, but I personally LOVE the sauces. Lastly Roadhouse is a great community supporter. They have supported various non profits, sports leagues, and lately during COVID have been serving up meals for front-line & essential workers. We are from Minnesota and I was in town for a Pampered Chef conference in Rosemont. We decided to get tickets to a Cubs game. I won't review that. But we left early so as to not get stuck in the throngs of fans finding a place to eat and drown their sorrows. We found this place and it was emptier and quieter than most of the places we passed so we went in For a drink and decided we should eat. The server was quick and friendly and brought us waters right away. Each of us got a cider that we are familiar with and tried to order the birria tacos. No go. Sold out. Ok. Review the menu again. Decided on Smoked Italian beef with sweet peppers and au jus and a side of Mac & cheese. We tried the Mac and it was good. Being adventurous my husband dipped his Mac into the au jus. Holy cannoli! TRY IT! That being said I tried the sandwich filling without the bread, immediately dunked into the au jus and it was so delicious! We got full because we kind of ate too fast. Took everything that was leftover with us and we kept eating it periodically through the rest of the night. I will 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting good food. The Cubs game let out and it did get extremely busy. Not a chair to be found. Luckily we were done and let some people snag our table before we left. They had a big group and a tiny table. Wow what a day! I was visiting Chicago this week for work and missed my flight back home... Usually I would be cursing the gods at this point but I thought "what the heck, Cardinals-Cubs? Why not?" Seeing as I've never been to Wriggly Field, I made it happen! ... And, boy, I'm so glad I did! Wriggly Field was certainly an experience.. the Beer bats... The Nachos.... The energy was just simply unmatched, (and I've been to 19 stadiums...*) It was freezing out in the bleachers and even though I wanted to see my Birds pull it off in person I had to seek shelter. I stumbled a little further from the stadium to get out of the ruckus and fell right in the lap of Roadhouse 66.... It could've been -20° and the atmosphere and vibes could've warmed the bones of anybody who walked through that door. I don't know if it was maybe too many Old Styles (Don't tell my wife!!!) or if everyone at this place was genuinely just the nicest people in this town. The music was fantastic, the crowd was fun, and man....what a Whiskey Selection!!! However, what set this place apart was the hospitality! Even though it was my first time here, the bartenders Lilly and Paulo, made it seem like I had been here a thousand times! I managed a few bars in Dallas and San Antonio and know how difficult it is to find such a cohesive team.... This place has it figured out. Their charm, attentiveness, and jokes made me feel like I was back home drinking beers in my neighbor's garage. Lilly gave me great recommendations on drinks, and even went out of her way to give me a list of other things to do while I'm stuck here for another day! I left and checked out a few other places nearby but I found myself coming back a little bit later, like a moth to a bug zapper... Except that bug zapper was malort.... Thanks Paulo. Haha. My only regret is that I can only give this place 5 stars. I Just wanted to let anyone know who sees this that you will not find a better place in Chicago to knock down a couple brews before or after a cubs game and you need to check this out and meet Lilly and Paulo yourselves ... And if they happen to see this, i just wanted to say thank you both for turning a miserable day turn into one I will never forget! read more

Ive been on the search for the best wings since I came out the womb and let me tell you... I finally found them. After years and hundreds of disappointments i came upon the smoked wings at roadhouse and I've never been more happy. They are crispy, flavorful, and paired with amazing sauces that will rock your world. Service is great (thanks Vanessa!) and true to the wrigley culture like I like it. I can't wait to come here and eat the wings all the time. I don't even know if I can continue on with the rest of the menu because the wings are so good I want to eat them until I can't eat anymore. read more

We found this place by happenstance while wondering Wrigleyville looking for something that could accommodate our group of 7. We were able to get two tables somewhat close to each other to split up our group and stay within the current COVID mandate. The tables were well spaced out and all employees were wearing masks. The food was very good and priced just right. I believe we paid $90 for three adult meals, four children's meals, and an appetizer. Their fries and Mac are to die for! Our cheese curds were the best I've ever had and I'm a Wisco girl. I was so impressed by the quality and price of the food as well as the fantastic service. I think this will be my new 'regular' spot when I visit CHI. P.S. Make sure to pay for street parking or you will be paying the city $50. Whoops. read more
