I ordered the Azteca chicken burrito and asked for it extra crispy--highly recommend doing this! The tortilla gets perfectly toasted and it really enhances the flavor. Food was tasty, and the server was friendly. Price for the burrito felt a bit high (I'd expect around $9-$10), but it's okay. Loved the self-serve salsa station (the salsa was excellent!) and the restaurant was very clean. Overall, a nice experience.

This is the overwhelming 3 asada tacos i ordered, there's 2 now because i ate one

If the owner of this business is Mexican, shame on you, if the owner of this business is white they either need a Mexican to give them advice or sell this business to a Mexican because this place sucks, the service is good and the food isn't horrible but what I ordered is not what they gave me, to them 3 Asada tacos are tacos with big tortillas, red cabbage, regular cabbage, tomatoes, cheese and cilantro, when it should have been simply A small soft taco, with cilantro, some diced onions and asada, and then add the mild or whatever sauce they have on top. I'm not even done, they don't make Michelada cervasas and when I asked for lime they literally gave me lemon, best part of my whole meal was the glass coke they had which is as authentic as it gets Now I have this plate full of extra ingredients, I can't even eat it with out a bunch of it falling all over the place, plus the meat was bland not enjoyable, the only way this business will succeed with higher star ratings is if the owner changes the menu and puts actual authentic Mexican food

This restaurant offers a variety of Mexican food with an American twist, from tacos topped with lettuce, cabbage, pico, cheese OR simply onion & Cilantro (Mexican style) up top burritos or bowls AND even nachos. Attached are some photos of bowls that could be also a burrito. Good ambiance and even better service.

Our 19th hole was here this past Tuesday. Located at the Bon Air shopping center. Plenty of parking spaces. Hubby & I were thinking taco salads. We took a look at the menu board and saw burritos or bowls. A bowl versus a wrapped burrito? That was a new concept to us. A bowl is everything in a burrito but without the flour tortilla. Animal style. That was appealing to us. We both ordered bowls to go. While we waited for our order, I got two salsa sides - green chile and diced tomatoes and onions. There's a handwritten note above the salsa cart that says two is the limit. One great feature of the shopping center - so much outdoor dining. We sat outside and ate our burrito minus tortilla. All the insides placed nicely in a takeout disposable flat carton. I ate mine by section whereas hubby mixed all his ingredients together. He had no leftovers as usual; however I took 1/2 home for dinner later. Somewhat pricey for what we got; but with ongoing inflation.....

Chicken picante burrito is so good! Idk why this place has 2.5 stars. Definitely a 4 star spot. Black beans cooked perfectly. Red salsa tasted great and really spicy (you've been warned). Only knock is that the burrito is small for the price, but maybe that's just the price of business in a high-end shopping center/high end neighborhood. Just off the freeway, so I'll most likely be back again!

This place had bad reviews but it makes the perfect burrito. The tortilla is toasted and all the contents were great. We ordered chicken picante burrito, Santa Fe chicken burrito and kids bean and cheese burrito. Price was average for Marin so I'm not sure why people are complaining about that. The only places cheaper are in unsafe parts of town like San Rafael and they are dirty. This place is in a cute clean complex of Greenbrae with plenty of parking.

Azteca Chicken Bowl is amazing!

Azteca Chicken Bowl is so good! I highly recommend it. Actually, everything at Roadrunner is delicious. I have tried over a dozen items. The food is fresh and very flavorful, portions are large, prices are decent, and the people who work there are friendly. Great salsa! I decided to leave a comment because I'm surprised by its low rating or so few stars. This place is amazing. It's way better than Burritoville. Google rating is 3.9. There are only chain restaurants in Bel Air. In my opinion, this place is the best in the neighborhood

Always been bad but I keep forgetting and go back every 5 years , why won't this place just go out of business already. Stupid rich Marin people keep this bad Mexican Restuarant open. My wife had the fish tacos yesterday and was sick all night , food poisoning??????????? My burrito sucked as usual , what the hell how hard can it be after 20 plus years to make a decent burrito,I am not picky when I am hungry but this place is awful. Peas in my surf and turf what the hell , I'm slightly allergic wasn't expecting that ,otherwise tasteless weird rice no flavor burrito

Service is surprisingly fast considering how busy they get for weekend brunch. Waiters come around often and are very efficient. REALLY wish they had more veg options, as there are currently only two things (a tofu scramble, and avocado toast). The tofu scramble has fresh veggies, but very little seasoning, so it's quite bland. The avocado toast is literally avocado on toast, no fun garnishes or seasonings. We would def come here more often if we had more options, and maybe more exciting flavors.

As the picture shows, mixed greens, corn, tomatoes, cotija cheese, black beans, cilantro, and avocado in a big bowl, topped with about a 6 ounce chicken breast. The salad looked like a lot of food but it was light and fresh. It had all the ingredients I love. Service was quality. All the waiters were attentive and the busy kitchen kept up with the orders. But it is quite a trek to get here unless you do live near Ross, CA. L O C A T I O N It is located in a quaint little "downtown" area with some shops. The parking situation is street parking but they do have lengthy parking times and plenty of time for you to enjoy an afternoon tea without having to repark. I N S I D E They have two areas of their cafe and a spacious area in the back where today they had a large group/party. We sat in the other area to the left of the entrance. It does have a separate entrance. The interior is cute! Very cottage core. In the main entrance, past the cashier area is the restroom. There's only one folks. That's a shame cause if you're having a bunch of tea, you can only imagine at some point, you'll be needing to use the restroom and if there are multiple groups there, you can only hope it's free when you need it. They do have everything in there though that you need. Just wish there was more than one as I was needing to brush my teeth while I was in there and it does take a bit of time. M E N U They have a preset Afternoon Tea but if you're unable to handle a lot of snacks and sandwiches, you can always order a la carte. Since we were going to be there for a while, we all decided to get it. Sizeable portion and we all ended up taking some of the "dessert" tray home. You also got a full pot of tea for each Afternoon Tea. So we chose a variety of teas and what's great is that they do refills which I appreciate! I loved the scones and crumpet with clotted cream and jam and butter. Scones always make me feel warm. The sandwiches were small but you know it's tea time so it has to be cute and delicate. The Ross location only has street parking, but generally I have not found issues with finding a parking spot. Pros: The staff is overall very friendly and the afternoon tea service has been some of the most affordable out of all the high tea services I've had so far. The savory pastries are delightful. I enjoyed the sausage roll, the tea sandwiches, and their buttery roll pastry. I also love the blueberry scone and crumpet, which goes perfectly well with the lemon curd, clotted cream, and jam. The staff goes into detail on what is served in the high tea service and also gives thorough recommendations on which teas are compatible with cream. I have had their tea service twice during Christmas holidays and they prepare fun little gifts for you! Cons: I personally had a good experience, so I can't say that there were any cons I faced. Overall: Crown & Crumpet Café has always been a tea shop I've been drawn to for their bright colors, décor, and its affordable tea service. I have been to their Christmas pop-up in 2021 at the Marin Art and Garden Center, their San Francisco location in 2024, and twice at the Ross location. Crown & Crumpet Café is the perfect place to have parties and dress up (especially in lolita fashion!). It's sad to see their shop locations have closed, but I am happy to see that they are not entirely gone, and I look forward to their pop-up events. I would like to buy more pastries à la carte!

My "Soft Scramble" was a pile of astonishment. It was so unrefined that it was an insult the the ingredients. There was nothing soft about the eggs, they were overcooked. The only thing soft on the plate was the watery run-off from the vegetables they heaped into the eggs: Too many chewy mushrooms and HUGE. Too many cherry tomatoes. I had to dig to find the eggs. The leeks were strips of inedible ribbon. The toast? I think it had been toasted yesterday and left on the top of their oven overnight and then reused today. I had to get up from the table and ask for butter to make it edible and still I worried whether I was going to break a crown. The pickled vegetables? Again, HUGE, hard and barely pickled. I will refrain from criticizing the service because they are all unaware of the nightmare in which they are working. Bless their hearts. I was so sad and annoyed. People think they can buy a restaurant with recipes and wholesale accounts and staff and just run it, "business as usual" but they are wrong. I went in and asked if they had sold the restaurant and was told, "yes." I imagine some tech-bro's wife or some hedgefund community doodler wanted a pet project with zero idea about food or food quality or how to treat and retain employees because what happened to MHBB is astonishing. It's rude and insulting to anyone who opened this restaurant and put in their best to keep the name and claim to be catering to the same people. But then again, this is par for the course or, from my vantage point, everything wrong with what's happened in Marin in a nutshell. Faux authenticity. Zero care. This is now all about the money. I will never bother with it again.

She told me that she had read my review and asked what it is I would like to discuss, as if we were about to enter into negotiation, rather than simply admitting fault and reimbursing me for their mistake as any other high-end and low-end restaurant would do in this situation. The manager told me that I should have spoken up last night and have asked for the steak to be reheated. Lol! She then said that it was me who should've caught the mistake on the bill, and that I shouldn't have posted my review. She also said that I should've called the restaurant when I noticed the bill which would've be impossible because I noticed it at midnight. She put the blame on me when I did nothing wrong in this scenario. She tried to make me feel bad about posting the review and made me feel as if it was I was the one that mishandled the entire situation, rather than accepting full responsibility. Eventually, I stood up for myself during the phone call and put the blame back on the restaurant, at which point she realized that maybe she and the restaurant staff that night did do something wrong. Spoiler alert! When that revelation crossed her mind, she offered to partially reimburse me for the cheaper steak that I originally ordered. The steak that they brought out afterwards... I still had to pay for it. Everything so far is clearly being handled correctly. I said that I would like everything reimbursed from that meal and after ten minutes of talking on the phone, she offered to reimburse me for the more expensive steak and the tip from that night, which should have been done in the first place without any of this. As if the situation couldn't get any juicier, she informed me that the kitchen staff have ongoing issues with temperature control on the steaks. Since they want to be petty, I'll be petty too. I saw many servers bagging the crudities that they bring out with their avocado hummus with their bare hands. The avocado hummus station is in the middle of the entire restaurant mind you. This is a bad look for the only dish that seems to be keeping this place afloat.
