I'm no stranger to Summerlin, with the occasional visit here and there, but I've never seen or heard of this place. This is a cute little hole in the wall coffee shop just off the 215 freeway at Town Center in Summerlin. They had their March menu on display in the very front, and my eye immediately caught their Lucky Charms Matcha Latte. I don't eat cereal at all, but I was interested in this drink and asked for the basics on it. This latte has made from scratch Irish cream syrup, your choice of milk, marshmallow cloud, and topped with Lucky Charms marshmallows, but without the crunchy cereal part. This drink tasted like and had the texture exactly like St. Patrick's Day. It was amazing! March is almost over, so catch this drink and all their other March drinks on hand when you still can. Their other March drink they have available is called Luck of the Irish Latte. It has similar ingredients to the Lucky Charms Matcha Latte, only it has espresso and no Lucky Charms marshmallows on top. If you're ever in Summerlin, come check out Better Days. Yes, they are a hidden gem, but they have great drinks, seasonal and year long.

The worn-in leather chairs feel like they're waiting just for you, and it's the kind of place that convinces me to slow down, savor my drink, and linger longer than I planned. Beyond coffee, they serve breakfast and lunch plates, plus sweet and savory pastries. The avocado toast with ricotta, strawberries, pumpkin seeds, and honey has incredible flavor and texture. Fun fact: owned by a few poker players, the most notable being Todd Brunson, son of Hall of Famer Doyle Brunson. I loved the circle booth style seating because it felt cozy, welcoming, and way more personal for group conversations. I also love supporting the fact that Mothership Coffee Roasters is women owned. The coffee was really tasty and the food selection honestly impressed me. They have fresh daily grab & go items like sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and even a beef empanada. I appreciated that they also offer Vegan options, including a gluten free Vegan chocolate chip cookie. All of the pastries looked delicious and the prices were actually really reasonable too. I also read that during the last hour before closing they sell the remaining pastries for $1, which I think is such a smart idea to help reduce food waste instead of throwing perfectly good food away.
