The decorations are cool but worn and that's probably the vibe. The space is very limited. I was expecting more seating. The only open spaces were the counters along the window and outside. The same people stayed in the shop for the same amount of hours I was there or even longer. They have indoor and outdoor seating, which is cool. I ordered a blended Ube-Bee Latte which looks seasonal. It was good but I couldn't taste any of the Ube and maybe because it was blended. It tasted like a cappuccino blast from Baskin Robbin's. Staff is friendly. They tidy up often. However, WiFi is very interesting. They do not offer it unless you ask for it. In order to log onto their WiFi, you need a slip of paper that contains a passcode. I read some reviews that the WiFi only lasts for 2 hours but I was logged in for maybe 2 hours and 15mins with no disruptions. Maybe I'd come here again if I want to study later in the evening but seems like this place can get busy and have limited seating. I still recommend stopping in! read more

When I used to live on this side of town, I would come here regularly to order their delicious iced coffees. It's been a while since I've been back, so I was really excited to try out their seasonal pumpkin drinks that they just posted on their social media. If you've never been here, this local spot has a trendy, yet eclectic vibe and a very laidback atmosphere. They offer wifi to their customers and they have a few indoor/outdoor tables for those who decide to dine in. My husband and I decided to order an iced Pumpkin Matcha and one of their iced Pumpkin White Chocolate Mochas. We ordered their medium size drinks and both of them had the perfect amount of crushed ice to drink ratio. The drinks tasted very good, but they were a tad bit on the sweeter side. The Pumpkin Matcha was definitely the better of the two, so I would probably order that one again if it was available. Why have I never been here? I know this place has been around for at least 10 years because I used to pass by the store every morning on my way to work. My kids had been here multiple times and while talking about places I haven't been, Madhouse was brought up. Since we were only a few miles away, we went! What a cute place! I love the art and decor. This used to be my favorite study spot. The food is great, the staff is always kind, and I've been coming here for years. However, the new policy of only allowing one WiFi pass per purchase is really inconvenient and disappointing. I already spent around $30 on a meal and a large drink, yet I was only given 2 hours of WiFi access. When I asked for another passcode so I could continue studying, I was told I would need to make another purchase. As someone who comes here specifically to spend hours studying, it feels unfair to have to keep spending more money just to stay connected after already making a substantial purchase. This has never been an issue before, which is why the change was so frustrating. I truly enjoy this place, but I hope management reconsiders this policy for loyal customers and students who regularly spend time and money here. read more

I haven't been to madhouse for a couple of years, at least not consistently like I was going before Covid. I stopped by yesterday for an iced chai with oat milk and a large lemonade. I swear, they put magic in these drinks. I have never had a chai anywhere else that tasted like theirs. And it's so creamy, it's almost like an iced milkshake, but not as thick. It's delicious. I wasn't sure what to expect for their lemonade or even if they carried lemonade, it didn't jump off at me from their menu at the drive-through, but it was amazing. I'm actually thinking about driving 20 minutes just to go back today. I also got an egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel and it was really good. It is a little bit slow at the drive-through, but they're actually making your sandwich, they're not just taking something out of the freezer and heating it up like at some chain coffee stores. I really liked mad house coffee, I have never been before but it was on my to-go list and i'm very glad I went. I ordered the pumpkin matcha. Omg it's like a piece of pie in a drink. I was hesitant I would not like the drink but surprisingly the pumpkin paired very well with the matcha. You also got a taste of cinnamon sugar in the drink, it definitely seasoned and prepared you for the beginning of fall. It's a very good drink for the colder weather & I can imagine it tasting that much more amazing as a hot beverage instead of iced! (Which I will be back for). I also tried their booty cake- cake pop! (blueberry flavored for the cake batter) I enjoyed a few bites but their chocolate was thick and overpowering so I didn't really taste their cake, all in all it's a cute aesthetic & not to mention they have tiny dicks for sell (chocolates). I love their atmosphere inside, it was not what I expected but it definitely caters to our youths revolution & how we're not afraid to speak our mind. They enjoy their art & perspective as they have a lot of pieces from recycled propaganda. (An amazing art landmark in the arts district!) Side note: it gets pretty packed inside so a lot of foot traffic on the weekends but if you come on a weekday it's not so bad, a lot of people are studying but they seem very welcoming and hosting about that! They also have hookah area and they don't only sell drinks and sweets, they have a small menu for breakfast and lunch and some dinner snacks! I also bought the Nutella tiramisu and strawberry white chocolate cookie. The tiramisu was really good but the cookie was hard as a rock. Drive thru service could use some work. A few months ago, I went through the drive thru for a drink. The worker had an AirPod in and was on the phone the whole time they were talking to me and seemed bothered that she had to perform her job duties. I stopped going to this shop after that up until this week when I was out and about in the area. I decided to try again and this time after taking my order in the drive thru, I sat at the window for about 5 minutes before anyone came and when they did the worker mumbled incoherently to me while taking payment and just went silent.
