My Wife & I enjoy dining at egg works out in Summerlin parkway. We're basically regulars & we always ask for Tabi, she is extremely knowledgeable about the menu, even on substituting things that my wife & I are craving for. Tabi is super amazing with her lovely smile & customer service, Almost remembering what we like when we order our breakfast. Today we saw the train conductor exchanging the train that circles around the restaurant, giving it its awesome interaction with looking around the room. It's really nice to see the different designs the train has during different seasons. I asked Tabi of her reaction when taking the first bite of the seasoned potatoes, & what particular movies goes with that feeling of enjoying the first bite.? Tabi answered " The Flintstons. YABBA-DABBA-DOO!" My movie was "Elf, when Will Ferrell, first got to the City of New York, He was enjoying the gum that was on the railings, JOYFUL EXPRESSIONs!" Liking the exterior and ready to go inside. Really like the interior and all that of the farm like murals and artwork. We were seated quickly and our server promptly took our drink orders. Note, you may want to plan ahead and look at the menu on the website for a preview. This thing is massive! And it is all available for order. Even like the burgers or sandwiches. Whatever looks good. My French dip was nicely loaded with roast beef on good bread with a nice salty aus just. The Cajun French fries were VERY salty. Now my wife ordered the skillet special for the day. They brought my plate out and apologized to my wife. Said her plate would be right out. They caught it in the kitchen that they had messed up on her eggs and were going to redo them. Nice catch . Visited today and sat on the patio. Our server was Rial. Service was quick, but we felt somewhat rushed to place our order and finish our meal. I ordered an iced tea, and the cup had a visible crack in it and was leaking. When I asked for a replacement, Rial initially said she would bring just a new cup. I wasn't comfortable drinking the tea at all because of possible microplastics and preferred a fresh drink. While she did accommodate, the interaction felt a bit dismissive and she seemed annoyed. I think this could be a learning opportunity for her and the rest of staff. For food, we ordered the steak and eggs and a cheesesteak. Unfortunately, the cheesesteak was a disappointment compared to previous visits. They used to offer a chicken cheesesteak that I really enjoyed, but I guess it's been removed. The new sliced beef lacked flavor. It wasn't something we would order again. The steak and eggs were flavorful, though. Also, the new Diablo Cajun fries were excellent. The patio is a nice space and is dog-friendly, although dogs are not permitted on laps so keep that in mind. I wish they had fans on the patio for the summer months because it was getting a bit uncomfortable towards the end. Overall, the experience was average. Yum yum yum! We came here for the Cincinnati chili li li...we first had it in Orlando a few years ago and this is the only joint that I know of that serves it up. Eggs Works is all over town, I first ate there at their Enterprise location in my younger days (not long ago..) and have never been disappointed, also at their flam/ft apache spot. They have a newspaper menu, that's fine the chooch can color on it and do what she pleases, oh wait they give you kids crayons if you have a little one...cool! Service was exceptional and speed was efficient. The chili was great, not dry at all and plenty of food. Price was very reasonable and left with all limbs still attached to my body. Today while volunteering for the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program, I had a couple of hours to wait for my patient, so I joined a friend for breakfast at EggWorks in Summerlin. This is a smaller location compared to other EggWorks restaurants, but the experience was top-notch. You can feel it's a place for locals, great ambiance. The staff greeted us at the entrance and we were seated right away. Our server, Tabitha, was friendly and attentive from the start. I ordered coffee with their caramel macchiato creamer, honestly, one of my favorite things about this place! For my meal, I got the classic: two fried eggs with seasoned potatoes and crispy bacon. Instead of the toast, I went for the banana bread muffin, which is delicious. The timing was perfect - we finished breakfast just in time for me to pick up my patient. Holy crap! They have Cincinnati chili and it is legit! Freaking incredible! We got the "5 way" which is spaghetti, chili (not traditional chili but better), cheese, onions, kidney beans and crackers. I'm so happy to have finally found it in Vegas! The staff were super friendly. We had our one year old with us and they made sure to bring her some food out fast so she didn't go crazy. Delicious breakfast/brunch here. The menu is huge and extensive and I had trouble deciding because everything looked so yummy. I ended up with the Key Largo crepe with eggs, bacon, turkey, and guacamole in a crepe. It was served with sour cream and salsa and was so big that I took half of it home for breakfast the next day. The banana nut muffins were incredible. I think they are made with molasses because they had that distinct flavor. My husband got a breakfast skillet that he said was delicious. He especially liked the seasoning on the potatoes. I wish they had Diet Coke instead of Coke Zero but no biggie. Absolutely awful! First, their version of a cappuccino is just weird with whipped cream on top? And tasted weird like watered down hot chocolate. My husband's food came out first, he had the corned beef hash, again weird, what is that it was mixed with something almost like refined beans it was absolutely gross. They messed something up and my western omelette came out super late, not only did it come out late it wasn't even cooked. The server said he thought i said a 'wet' omelette, i mean is that even a thing wtf. If you were not sure then ask bc i did not say wet i said western omelette. First time here based on yelp reviews. Huge menu with lots of interesting choices. They have a value menu $13 or less and a 55 and over section. We opted to share the chili rellenos omelette. Glad we shared this 4 egg omelette. Was huge! Cane with their diced potatoes that are not spicy but has a chili flavor. Also go the banana muffin. Waitress said that new customers get a free muffin so we each got one plus our meal. Endless coffee came with a big carafe for easy serving yourself. This fabulous amazing cafe is in my neighborhood and I can't believe I have been living right down the street and had not been here. It's a quaint place and during our early Sunday morning visit on Sunday 7/13 it was quiet. We had a wonderful server Samara who was friendly and efficient. Food arrived hot and quick. Samara refilled our coffees and was very great about timing and not making us feel rushed. The menu is HUGE!!! Eggs any way you could possibly think of and some other things with a Mexican twist that I'd like to check out next time. They have some unique items like Cincy chili and egg crepes. There is also a great selection of seasoning and hot sauce for sale. It's got a country theme which we found amusing and an electric train that goes around the ceiling. Decided to try this location out for breakfast on a Friday morning. I was amazed by the plethora of options on the menu. We ordered the Mexican omelette with Spanish rice and biscuits and gravy, half order of strawberry cream cheese stuffed French toast, the classic breakfast. The wait wasn't too long for the food. Once the food came out, the portions were really big. The Mexican omelette was nicely seasoned with the chorizo, peppers, salsa filled with so much flavor. I'm glad I added the Spanish rice which balanced out the flavors of the omelette. I highly recommend this option. The biscuit and gravy is was on point as well, with very soft biscuit and adequate consistency of the gravy. Lastly, the strawberry cream cheese stuffed French toast consisted for of soft toast and sliced strawberries throughout with the cream filling. It wasn't too sweet at all and did not require any syrup. Overall, this breakfast spot is definitely the place to consider for breakfast restaurants around vegas with plenty of locations throughout. Terrible service. We arrived at the top of the hour and ordered our food shortly after. After waiting 35 minutes for our food, the waitress said sorry for the wait, we are down 3 cooks today. Okay no problem. So after waiting another 20 minutes, all the guests around us who arrived after us got their food. That was the last straw so we left. Waiting an hour for food is unacceptable. We've had delays at other egg works and have been offered something like a banana muffin to hold us over. The restaurant was packed when we arrived and by the time we left, the restaurant was 1/3 full. So not sure if there's any truth to the down 3 cooks excuse. read more

I have no stars to review for food this trip to egg works....and that's because I never received my order. This review is based on the service or lack thereof. And why is that? Because the manager decided to cancel my online order "because the kitchen was backed up". Meanwhile they were still seating walk-ins? So their order(s) were clearly more important than mine? I understand it was mother's day and it was busy. I showed up to the restaurant expecting to probably have to wait around a bit longer than usual because of the day...had zero issues with doing so. The two most frustrating parts are A. My order was cancelled as I walked through the door heading to the back to the pick up area, 21 mins after I ordered B. No empathy or sympathy from the manager....just gave me the matter of the fact "we're busy and behind"...only apologized as I made my turn to leave. It would have been better if the order was cancelled right away and would have saved me the time and effort of making my way here. In the meantime, as I am writing this, the site itself is still allowing for online orders to be placed and I am watching more walk-ins make their way in with no one being turned away? I really guess my order really wasn't as important as theirs. P.s. The food is normally solid here and the service is always good & friendly, this isn't a knock on them at all....but the way my situation was handled was piss poor. I often stop in for a couple of them to bring home. The staff is welcoming and attentive to guests. It can get busy on weekends but the wait isn't too long as they offer plenty of seating to include a diner style counter and a dog friendly patio area. We went to Egg Works as soon as they opened, sat immediately and Lisa, our server, took our order for drinks, coffee and water, brought back the carafe, only seemed half full as we only got to cups each out of it. The little train was running other than that not much ambiance. Lisa was the highlight as she came back twice which hadn't happened on any of my visits. Okay, so the food was not good, I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs. Yesterday's or last weeks biscuits were hard, not fresh at all, the gravy softened them a little bit still not that much, eggs were scrambled but nothing came out hot including the other order. My spinach and strawberry salad was amazing with what seemed like 2 cups of strawberries perfectly positioned and the chicken was moist and perfectly cooked and seasoned.
