Everything is always good. I love a business that stays consistent. The cups are also a huge favorite of mine.

My red bean smoothie came in a glass bottle with pandas on it. I think that's all I really need in life. The decor inside Roasting Water is also super adorable-- lots of strings of lights and shelves lined with the cutest mugs I've ever seen. However, only a small selection of the mugs are on sale; the rest are just teasing you. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but service is really slow (because it's awesome and super busy?). I was sad that they didn't have taro, but the red bean was very tasty, and I liked that they have other add-in options other than boba-- I opted for chia seeds. And now I have a cute glass for cut flowers. Yay! read more

Not bad. But also not very good. It mainly sugar and syrup in the drink. You cannot adjust the sweetness nor ask. It not the work but also just OK. For what the employee says it just premadr bath of drink prepared and pour per order. My family brought me tea from here. I have to say, the tea itself was good, but the rest, not so much. There just too much going on in this drink. It's not only some new Asian hipster drink, you have something like 5 different bobas, different pudding, different extras and what not. It can also go in this super special bottle or the equally special glass bottle. Either way, too many options I think. Service was... could be better. With so many options, it's not so surprising that the cashiers get so short tempered. On behalf of my family who went there because my friends recommended the drinks, we dislike the service. Being told one thing, saying another, getting misdirected, then shown attitude because you're stressed out is poor customer service. Please get trained better. Yelling back because you were yelled at doesn't solve problems. Maybe simplifying the menu and adding seasonal extras would work out better in the long run. read more

This place was awesome. Tasty drinks, yummy complimentary sandwiches, chill atmosphere, just overall great vibes all around. Went with a girlfriend of mine around lunch time and had a wonderful time. I ordered #Swag--cool name, interesting drink. Making it my mission to try everything on their menu at least once. The ham and cheese sandwich was the perfect size and sooo good. So in total, my entire lunch meal only cost $3.50. Great bargain! Will def be bringing my business here often. On a side note, they did run out of boba early noon. Finally came here after having my eye on it for a couple of weeks and I'm glad I stopped by. The location is a hidden gem in Westminster, after having a bowl of pho at my favorite pho joint ( Pho Thang Long ) I was thirsty for something to drink and feeling adventurous. If it weren't for the appealing name and free mini sandwich/ or cookie I probably wouldn't have given this place a chance since there's numerous drink spots within the vicinity. I ordered the RW Coffee and it was love at lust at first sip! I wanted to try the most popular drink here and I've been on the hunt to find a Starbucks Vanilla Frap dupe (the ones you can pick up at a gas station). The RW Coffee caught my eye before I even bought it and it was only $2.50! What a come up!!! I love come ups LOL So what I'm stoked on is basically there iced house brewed coffee with sea salt cream on top, The coffee is strong but the cream tones it down a couple notches, I recommend it for you coffee lovers with a sweet tooth. I was offered a free baguette/ or cookie to go along with my drink ( how cute is that yay) I ended up going with a turkey/cheese baguette, what I got was a mini croissant instead of the baguette, which is okay but not what I expected (confused) it was good but there was too much cheese, ill just ask for less next time not a big deal :P Definitely coming back here if I'm ever craving coffee, it's a nice place to come sit down and chat, they also have a tv going with Netflix if you want to be entertained while you sip your drinks. First time here and I ordered the milk tea with pudding because they were out of boba at 3pm on a Sunday... the cashier let me sample the pudding and I liked it so I did not lower the rating. The free cupcake was ok and considering it was free with my drink this place gets 4 stars. This place only has ten seats inside but I was able to find a seat and enjoy the EDM style music that was playing. This place has great drinks. I'm a fan of their sea salt jasmine tea. It's got a strong tea flavor and perfect hint of saltiness from the cream. Why did they stop the orange boba though ? I've decided to take a drive to Westminister to see what's the hype about this little tea cafe. When I first parked my car, I saw the huge line coming out of the store. I've decided to wait because i thought it wouldn't take that long. I was wrong. I had to wait about 30mins in line and another 20 mins to get my drink. I ordered the green milk tea and it was mediocre. My 3 other friends ordered red dawn, sunburst, and this lemonade (i forgot the name of the drink). Upon seeing all the cute bottles with cork caps I was enticed to make the 30min drive down to garden grove with my bæ to get some yummy tea in some hipstery packaging. So upon getting there the decor is insanely adorable, there's menu's at the door to look at and a couch to sit on. Although the store is really tiny and there is limited seating when I went it wasn't too busy and I found it extremely cozy. I got the white peach tea and personally thought it was too sweet and not cold enough, on top of that my drink came in a standard clear plastic cup ): BOO YOU!! Anyways, I probably won't be back unless in nearby since there's closer boba places I can go to, and although this place was yummy, it isn't something memorable or worth a 30min drive. Quaint little coffee house that seats about 8 people. That doesn't stop people from coming though. Being a huge coffee addict, I can now finally say I found a place I love. They have a variety of drinks but my go to drink is always the RW coffee. It comes in this adorable bottle with a cork in it, all for $3. The coffee has sea salt in it which balances out the sugary cream, perfect for me since I generally do not like overly sweetened coffee or drinks. Whether you're a coffee, smoothie or tea drinker, this place has it all. If you're into cutesy decor, another reason to come here. So kawaii! read more

Nice little hole in the wall boba shop. I wouldn't have minded getting my oolong milk tea in a plastic cup, but apparently the glass one is free. Slightly awkward to drink out of a long glass cup with a straw that's shorter if you ask me. The oolong milk tea was above average and boba balls were quite good! One of the better ones out there for sure. Chewy, silky and not too sweet. It's not honey boba if anyone is wondering. Now, why do boba shops use crushed ice?! Compared to the garden grove location, it's cramped, but music choice is better. Got the same thing as last time to compare. The pitaya and the heavenly kiss. The pitaya was given to us with honey on the outside of the bottle, very sticky, and the boba was floating at the top of the bottle as if they forgot to add till the end (very little boba too). As for the heavenly kiss, it's a lot sweeter than the one at garden grove, and the smoothie was mostly melted when I got it, and the pompom were stuck in a gigantic ball at the bottom of my drink, impossible to suck up with a straw. For the cashier, it seemed like she was really out of it, super distracted. I had to repeat my order 3 times (one time she got one of the drinks wrong, other time she got the toppings wrong). I gave the other location 5 stars, which shows how disappointed I am in this location. I'd probably rather make the further drive just to get better service and drinks prepared. read more

This did not live up to the hype tbh. Coming from San Diego, I wanted to try this boba place since it has 4 stars & good reviews. But nothing came out right. The line was out of the door when I arrived, so I thought to myself "Damn, Im in for a good treat" I order the #Swag. They were out of pom poms and half of their fruit list. Instead of pom poms, I replaced it w lychee jelly & got mangoes & pineapples. I was so excited to get my drink. So I got my drink & it was so pretty! The drink looked so unique and the jars are SO PRETTY. Okay, so I took a sip & wow it was soooo bland. I couldn't taste anything except green tea. The fruits were also sour like what?! & funny thing. THEY DIDNT EVEN ADD MY LYCHEE JELLY. I took like two sips and stopped. After my nap during our trip back home, I took a few more sips to hopefully have a change in mind. But nopeeee. I don't understand how this place has 4 stars. My brother got this peach raspberry smoothie & it was way too sweet. I regret choosing this place over Almond Haus. Everything in there is cute!! If I could, I'd buy every single mug there. I ordered the Red Dawn and it was delicious. It's a blood orange and blueberry fruit tea. I opted for the green tea instead of herbal. Honestly, in my mind, I didn't care if the tea was going to be tasty or not because I just wanted the bottle. Turns out, the tea was delicious! A little bit bitter with the combination of blood orange and tea but , refreshing. Super reasonably priced since you get to take the bottle home. A little word of advice though, as for easy ice. I ended up with 3/4 of the bottle filled with ice. Also, grab a couple of napkins, it'll get really cold in your hands! read more

Ever since their business grew and started using the glass bottles i have noticed a big difference in their service and quality of drink. Unfortunately in a bad way. Services are way too slow at both locations. Average waiting time for my order are 15 minutes. If the quality of the drink like they used to be, i wont mind. I ordered the nutty banana today and that drink now just tastes like super sweet peanut butter drink. I cant taste the banana like i used to no more. Color is different. Unlike the other Roasting Waters, this one still has the signature bottles! It's worth it to just go for the glass bottles, even if the drinks aren't the best. But wait, they're pretty good! I ordered the Sea Salt Jasmine Tea. When mixed, the flavors were quite good: the jasmine tea stood out and perfectly complimented the sea salt cream that sat above. read more

Super small, but they offer amazing drinks! I was surprised that at 3pm on a Saturday that there was a huge line out the door. The line goes by kind of slow, but your wait time for the drinks isn't as long. I tried the LOL (lots of lychee) fruit tee, Strawberry lemonade and the Jack and Jill which is a smoothie of jack fruit and lychee. My hands down favorite of the three was the Jack and Jill smoothie. What is amazing about this place is that all the drinks are under $5 AND they come in a super cute glass "jar" that you get to keep. I have no idea how they are able to make money by selling their drinks in these jars. What is also super cute about this place are the various mugs they have displayed inside. There is very limited seating so it is more of a order and go kind of place. I will definitely be coming back again to try more of their smoothies. read more

This was my first time at Roasting Water and I definitely became a fan. Roasting Water differentiates itself with the typical boba chains by having a variety of drinks. The drinks doesn't taste artificial.. I had a smoothie and there were real fruit chunks inside. I'm also really glad that their jars are reusable and they're really cute too. I got the one with the blue coi fishes. I'm wondering when they switch designs?? I kinda wish that if you were to reuse your jar you can get a discount or something since it'd be more eco-friendly. Their prices aren't too bad considering that you get to keep the jar. This location is pretty small and it can get pretty crowded if there is a line, but the line goes by fairly quickly. I also really liked the decorations they had around the store (which were mugs, glasses, jars of different kinds) it was different from anything I'd seen before. read more

This place is located in a small corner, so don't blink or you'll miss it like i have for the past few years lol. I was craving oolong milk tea, and decided to stop by since it was on my way home and yelp said it was cheap. The oolong milk tea was average, tastes like any other oolong milk tea from any other boba shop, but I like that they give a generous serving of boba. What I really like about this place is that each drink comes in a cute bottle that you can take home and reuse (I'm a sucker for reusable containers). For about $5, I'd say it's a very reasonable price for decent milk tea boba and the reusable bottle. read more
