Thank you for still being here when about a few weeks ago we were told Tira Tea would be closing. If you want delicious hot dirty Taro this is the place to come! THE BEST over all the other tea houses we've been to. Their other selected flavored teas are so yummy too, as you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. Wouldn't go any other place over Tira Tea. They are Top Notch for teas and coffees :D A++++

Picked up my cream puff next door and stumbled upon this coffee shop just nextdoor. I didn't bring enough cash to pay my cream puff so I had to use card payment, and they directed me to next door cafe, so they can process it. Their Dalgona Coffee is so good! I didn't adjust any sweetness and it just taste fantastic ! I'd come back to try other coffee they have. I was there pretty early like around 10 and they already opened since 8:30! There was only one person working when I went , and the place is quiet small, so not a lot of seats to hang out.

This place is such a hidden gem! This small coffee shop is definitely one of the most underrated spots nearby that I've tried. I got recommended the iced dirty taro latte by the worker there and it was absolutely delicious. Just the perfect amount balance of fresh espresso and taro. Super unique flavor combo when you hear it at first but, so well done. It took about 6-7 minutes to get my drink, but I didn't mind at all since there was only one person working and you can tell they were working hard. $8 after tax and tip felt totally worth it for something this good. If you're into trying something different and supporting a small coffee spot that deserves way more love and hype, this place is a must. 5 stars all the way.

Hmmm I give this place a 4.5, a few things would push this to a 5. I'll explain more. I've had this place on my try out list for awhile. I had a few hours to get work done before a badminton session so I went here and was delighted that it was pretty close by. It's connected to the bakery next door, heard it was owned by the same family. Before coming I already checked out some of their drinks. The employee working took her time to offer me some suggestions, but ultimately I went with the dirty taro latte and it didn't disappoint! I got regular size, extra ice. It was sweet like I like it, taro part of the drink had good flavor, coffee part was good but could be a stronger. I would come back and get that drink again or try other drinks. I like that the employees always reminded the customers if they don't like their drinks, they can be remade. I heard them saying that to several customers including myself. They do have fresh boba daily but don't serve it until 10am even though the store opens at 8 or 830am. That's when you know they really do serve fresh boba daily. Some improvements would be to offer some savory snacks like fries or something. The bakery next door had mostly sweet items or meat items, which I couldn't eat. Since I stayed a few hours I was definitely craving a salty snack. The place is also small and quiet, which is good for me to study, but they don't offer wifi. Luckily I have hotspot otherwise it would have been a bust trying to study here. Anywho, I will most likely return. It's a decent place for a quick grab and go!

its the customer service for me!! This is such a cute cozy place on the inside. Its right next to the Manmi Bread store, so it smells so fresh! We ended up getting 1 strawberry/banana smoothie, 1 vanilla latte, 1 caramel latte, both were made exceptionally well. It was very tasty and refreshing. We will be back to try other things on the menu. Prices are reasonable and totally worth your time. Don't forget to sign up for rewards!!

    1. The drink tasted deliciously refreshing! 2. The spot has cozy casual vibes! 3. There are few indoor seatings! 4. The staff were friendly and timely with my order! 5. Parking lot is medium-size, but it does not get crowded! Note: There is a single restroom for customers! Ask cashier for key! Photo: Korean Rice Punch

    Shik-hae and Dalgona coffee

After a late lunch, we ended the day with drinks in Garden Grove. We then headed off to Tira Tea House and chose the Shik-hae and the Dalgona coffee. My friend said that the Dalgona was made just right, and it was a good look out for the lady who was the barista because she recommended shaking it up a bit around to make sure that it was mixed better inside the cup. The Shik-hae (Korean rice punch) had the perfect level of sweetness, and I agree that it is refreshing. I would get it again, but I would also try out other drinks to see what they are like. While waiting and looking around inside, it seemed like a cozy spot. There were plenty of parking spots to choose from. Next door was Manmi Bakery, but sadly, a majority of the baked items were gone by the time we arrived. So, we would like to come another time when they have more of their items out in display.

I've been coming here for over a decade, so this review is way overdue. This is easily one of my favorite boba places of all time. The drinks are reliable and tasty and the service is one of the friendliest I've ever encountered. They really care about the quality of their drinks, and will always offer to remake them if the drinks are not satisfactory. My favorite three that I always come back to are dirty taro latte (I really recommend adding coffee jelly), rose milk tea, and green apple iced tea (I really like this with aloe vera). Their rose milk tea is very well-known and you can really tell why. Highly recommend this place! It is connected to a bakery next door that has bomb cream puffs (:

I've been dying to try their drinks after seeing their yelp reviews and it definitely did not disappoint! I ordered the Dirty Taro and it tasted amazing. I really liked how smooth it was and it was very light for me. The worker/owner was extremely nice and accommodating & even strikes up a conversation with me! In addition, the drink was around $5.50 which is really affordable considering the taste of it. Overall, it's an amazing place and I'm so glad I stopped by - will be coming back soon (:

Came here to get a dozen cream puffs for my son and coworkers, Thai tea with boba for my son and the iced dalgona for me. Manmi Bakery next door makes the cream puffs, which are pretty good. Located in a large shopping center there is plenty of parking. We came in at 4pm today (Wednesday) and there was only 1 person there. We placed our order and walked over into Manmi Bakery while waiting for the order and it was super awkward being stared at by 4 people behind the display counter when we walked in, so we quickly walked back to this boba shop, which was a lot more welcoming. My son says their boba isn't that great but he enjoyed their Thai tea. I thought the dalgona was pretty good and am glad we now have another place on our short list of good Thai tea/coffee shops. Not sure if I got charged extra for paying by card, so that's a negative but other than that and their boba the place isn't pretty tasty

    Vance N.

Tried the rose milk tea since it was one of their best sellers and it's easy to see why. Located in the plaza where Grams kbbq is and connected to Manmi bakery, there's lots of parking available. Reasonably priced and really good flavor I can't wait to try some of their other drinks.

    Magda N.

So happy this coffee/boba shop opened next to Manmi bakery. We can now have coffee instantly with the cream puff. Price is affordable and drink quality is pretty good. I was skeptical at first because there's so much variety of drinks and prices are pretty cheap, but they're actually pretty good. There is only 1 solo lady staff. So it can be a little slow if there are lots of orders. Located right next to Manmi bakery with a connecting door. They also share a bathroom. Place is pretty small. There is no seats inside.

Located next to AR market, it is a large interior with lots of lighting due to glass walls for half the store. I was a bit weary of da vien considering I couldn't sleep after trying their egg coffee at their bolsa location (I know Vietnamese coffee is famous for their caffeine that sneaks up on you due to the sweetness of their coffee (being Vietnamese myself) but not at this level). However, the manager or owner of the bolsa location did reach out to me to make it right after my critique. Going here is a night and day experience! Let me tell you of the tastiest coffee that rivals Starbucks... and I still got ample sleep! I got their marble drip coffee. I ordered mine with "50% sweetness and less caffeine." The moment it flowed through the straw and hit my tongue, it was the smoothest, creamiest most tasty coffee I ever had. Perfect amount of sweetness and a kick of caffeine, I was so amazed!! Their customer service here is nice and polite at the counter but that's pretty much it. They have a touch screen kiosk to also order on the side. When I came, there were 4 people ahead of me but the wait time wasn't that long thanks to the above things. I would definitely come here again. I would never guess to give a Vietnamese coffee establishment the highest rating on yelp considering my caffeine sensitivity but this is it!

Vibe: Summerfield is a staple in Garden Grove for friends to chat at or students to do some homework in.The place is very clean and has its really nice charm to it. There's plenty of natural lighting, despite being somewhat tucked away at the ground floor of a complex with other businesses in the same complex. The interior space and the two outdoor patios are really nice and roomy. Food & Drinks: I got a MIso Crunch Platter for ~$15, and the value for this was really great. The salad was very filling especially because it came with a lot of popcorn chicken, almonds, fried crisps, salad green mix, and a mildly spicy dressing. The combo also comes with a milk two of your choice (which I believe there were only two options, if I'm not mistaken). The Wintermelon Milk Tea at regular sweetness is really sweet in my opinion, so for folks that like their drinks to taste more of a beverage instead of a dessert I'd recommend starting at at 50% sweetness. I'd recommend bringing your own water since the store policy bars staff members from refilling customer-brought water containers (e.g., Hydroflasks and Owalas), and their water cup is really tiny and almost only the size of a standard shotglass. Work-Friendliness: Lots of outlets and very stable wi-fi! There's also tons of seating, both indoor and outdoor. The shop has music they play, but it's not too loud to the point that you can't focus, or put headphones on to listen to your own music. There's a lot of seating options for you to choose from. Getting There: The parking lot immediately next to it doesn't quite get busy, so driving there is an option. If it does get filled up, however, street parking is pretty easy since the shop is at a complex immediately neighboring suburbs. Public transit doesn't seem like it would be ideal. Service: Really kind staff and very patient. Going back to their water refill policy: Christine kept helping me out very patiently with water refills even though I kept coming back for what felt like the 50th time. Christine always assisted me with a smile on her face, which didn't make me feel like a burden at all. Big shout out to you diva

I disclosed up front I wanted the labubu topping, and they said a drink was required. No problem. I was going to get a drink anyways. Honestly I would have gotten more stuff in general if the service was better. I ordered the Cereal Flakes Milk Tea ($7) and added the Labubu Jelly ($2.50?). For their characters, I am told they all taste the same. It looks like they use molds, but a lot of the execution is sloppy and the colors get mixed over to different sections. I would pay more for a better executed character. Okay, I had all my stuff with me and talked about outlets because I was clearly enjoying my purchase for here... tell me why... this young man decided to package everything up in togo packaging and then he even put my labubu in a separate container, and there was no space for me to throw the topping on. THIS REALLY DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF MY VISIT. Also I gave them back all the togo materials cause I felt like that was wasteful. Anyways, I liked the drink. Don't think it tastes like a cereal drink... but oh well. The taste was good, but it needs a different name. The labubu jelly was overly gelatinous. I know it's a formula balance with the ingredients when using these molds so it comes out, and lasts, but I feel like this could be a little silkier. Enjoy the gimmick. I really didn't expect much coming here. Just for laughs and some photos. I would come back if my niece wants to check it out... but I hope their customer service improves during future visits.
