He took the time to explain what was actually going on, what my options were, and why certain things should or shouldn't be done. That isn't being rude or talking over customers. That's someone with experience making sure the job is done correctly and protecting both the customer and his business. Reading through some of the negative reviews, I noticed a pattern. Many complaints seem to come from people who either didn't read the fine print on promotions like Groupon or walked in without doing any research on what they actually wanted. If you're unsure, call the shop. I called Po multiple times before coming in, and he answered my questions every time. One thing I respect is that Po won't blindly do work just because a customer asks. If something doesn't make sense or could cause problems, he'll explain why. That's exactly the kind of shop I want working on my car. A good technician doesn't just say "yes" to everything. They educate you and make sure expectations are clear before the work begins. My experience was straightforward, honest, and professional from start to finish. He's a mobile mechanic; if you got an emergency or need flexibility on location, he's your guy. He comes out to you. 2. He has YOU buy the parts, so money saved not being upcharged by the dealer/shops. You tell him the issue, he tells you what you need to get (including links to Amazon, rockauto, etc), and agree on the labor price I recommend his services to anyone that wants the flexibility and to go with someone knowledgeable/honest. To be specific, my 2006 Ford Escape had a cracked windshield wiper fluid reservoir and a loose hand brake. I asked to bring in a generic replacement reservoir ordered from the internet and they happily obliged, noting that they only accept generic parts that don't affect driver safety. Good! Was quoted $80 to install the reservoir and $50 to adjust the hand brake, and that's exactly what they charged me when I brought the vehicle in 5 days later. Turns out they also inspected my brakes (all good) and rotated my tires at no charge. Bonus! The repairs were made in two hours and I'm very pleased with the results.
