My view every morning

Been in love with place and everything Roberta Oaks does for years! The new location is so lovely. For nearly every birthday for friends and family, this is my go to spot. I've picked up two of 3 wedding anniversary gifts from here (would be 3/3 but we were out of state). The plan is to go back again tomorrow to finish my Chrissy (Australian for Christmas) shopping

Happen to be in town during first friday (a monthly event in chinatown area) in Honolulu and stumbled upon this hip little shop. An eclectic mixture of items were for sale. They had clothes, lotions, hats jewelry, a blow up swan for your pool, and some really cute retro looking art work. Some things were a little on the pricey side but still affordable. They were also making some delicious cocktails for $3 donation the night we went too.

Waited in line for our teenage princess who is obsessed with Stussy. The things we do for our kids…read more We got there pretty late, around 7pm. The line was long, but it wasn't that bad (approximately 20 minutes). Once we got in line, we were handed these tickets for entry. The store is cool and the staff is friendly, however the prices were outrageous. My kids bought a total of 4 items (2 shirts, a purse and shorts and the total came out to $300!!!) What in the world?? My daughter was happy she was able to grab one of the Stussy Honolulu shirts, but it was yellow. Anyway, I guess if you're a Stussy person and want the exclusive Stussy Honolulu shirt, this is the place! From what I hear, people line up at 6am to get the Stussy Honolulu shirt in black or white, so I guess that's why the yellow ones were the only ones left at night. Despite the wait, I appreciated the helpful staff and efficient service.

Absolutely one of the worst shopping experiences I've ever had…read more From the moment I walked into the store, no one greeted me or offered any help. Even when the staff could clearly see that I was looking for something and needed assistance, they completely ignored me. What surprised me the most was that the T-shirts displayed on the tables seemed like they weren't even meant to be touched. I've shopped at many luxury brands before, and none of them made customers feel as unwelcome as this store did. Being a popular brand is not an excuse for poor customer service. It honestly feels like they're using "scarcity marketing" to create an exclusive image while treating customers with indifference. Very disappointing experience. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. There are plenty of other brands that value their customers much more.

Aloha! As many times…read moreas I have window shopped at Salvage Public at South Shore Market throughout the years, it wasn't until I saw Hōkūpa'a, Nāpali, and another staff (I hope you can forgive me for not asking for your name) at their pop-up location in Hilo. The Merrie Monarch vibes must have kicked in and I had to finally pop that cherry. I initially went with my hula family and used that time to soak everything in. The next day I went back alone to purchase a few items I couldn't stop thinking about. Both Nāpali and Hōkūpa'a hyped me up during my visit and all items I tried on was sold on the spot. Countless hugs and mahalo were exchanged during my encounter with them. Again, I had to go in a third time just to mahalo your (business) ʻohana during my trip to Hilo! Just about a week later I figured I would "window shop" again during my lunch break at South Shore Market and I was able to catch up with Hōkūpa'a. Then after some time of being educated about the items at the store I was sold again - resulting in me purchasing even more items than I did in Hilo! More hugs and mahalo were shared that day. I can't thank Nāpali a me Hōkūpa'a and the rest of the Salvage Public ʻohana enough for your continued legendary service every time I visit.
