    Medium pepperoni and sausage pizza

We ordered 3 pizzas: large plain, medium pepperoni and sausage, and a medium white. The white was a crowd favorite and had good flavor. The other two were fine. The staff was friendly too

Roberto's is a small Italian restaurant located in an unassuming strip mall. Having eaten their food many times in the past (albeit through takeout) we decided to go and eat in person. First off, Robertos has great hours and was consistently open. A competitor down the road, Amadeos, seemed to be closed all the time. Stepping into Robertos you see a small dining room on your left and a counter to order food to go ahead of you. The dining room has a sign saying to seat yourself. One of the employees at the counter came to take our order. I had noticed specials on a sign by the counter but the woman taking our order didn't voluntarily tell us. I ended up having spinach ravioli with another in our party ordering chicken parm. The spinach ravioli was delicious and homemade. The chicken parm was given rave reviews as well. The food arrived promptly and was delicious. The servings were the perfect size and the price was very reasonable. Both dishes came with garlic bread which was delicious. Things to know: -small restaurant -open Tuesday to Sunday from 12-10pm -service is a little slow in the beginning since employees are working in two areas in the restaurant -make sure to ask or check the board for specials -when your meal is completed, pay at the counter register -beer and soft drinks are available. No fountain soda at the moment due to covid restrictions.

    Cheese Lovers pizza. 09/05/20

This spot has the Best Stromboli's ever!! hugeeeeee we purchased the sausage and the broccoli roll. My favorite was the sausage. It came with red & green peppers and onions with a side sauce! Delicious!! We also ordered the Cheese Lover Pizza for my two son's. They loved it and neither of them are considered a vegetarian. We called in our order over the phone and was told we could pick it up an hour later. I guess they were pretty busy. So we just viewed some places around the area until it was time to pick it up. So glad we had the patience to wait. Would return again whenever in the area.

You could not dream up a more stereotypical blue collar, coal miner, "Italian style" joint than this. From the huge potholes in the parking lot, to the rain holes in the ceiling, to the adjacent cigarette store that is awkwardly attached this fine establishment. The waitress was kind and bubbly...probably because she was drinking from the Yuengling Lager tap. Hey, more power to her! Overall, they do what they do pretty well. The food is quite good but moderate your expectations. You are not going to see a lot of romantic dinner wedding proposals here. We had a nice, relaxed, casual dining experience.

My boyfriend and I (out of towners) received exactly the experience we were looking for during our visit to Robertos. The lasagna, which we both ordered, was absolutely delicious. The tomato sauce was rich in flavor and perfect in consistency. The ground beef was browned to perfection and the cheese was the cherry on top. Also, the garlic bread was perfectly seasoned and well toasted. We topped off our dinner with some tasty cannolis. Good stuff.

Once seated, we were greeted promptly with water and our server took our initial drink, appetizer, and dinner orders without issue. The appetizers arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but after that, the service began to decline. We had to ask twice just to order a second round of drinks. When the entrees arrived, everyone at the table received their meal except me. The server asked if everyone had their food, and I told her that I was still waiting for my Steak Frites special. She checked her order book, said something, and walked away. Unfortunately, no one returned to update us. After waiting another 10 minutes, I encouraged the rest of my family and friends to begin eating so their meals wouldn't get cold. When there was still no update, I flagged down another server, who said they would check with the kitchen. A few minutes later, they returned and said they weren't sure what had happened but that my meal was being prepared. After another 10 minutes passed, I asked to speak with a manager. I was told there wasn't a manager available and that they understood my frustration. By this point, it was nearly 9:30 p.m., my entire table had nearly finished eating, and I still hadn't received my dinner. When my steak finally arrived, it wasn't what I had ordered. I had ordered the NY Strip Steak Frites special but instead received a 10-ounce sirloin. Again, the explanation was simply that they weren't sure what had happened--perhaps another guest had received my order or there had been a mistake in the kitchen. To the restaurant's credit, they removed my steak from the bill. However, what disappointed me most wasn't the mistake itself--it was the lack of communication and customer service. Throughout the entire situation, no one came back to provide updates, apologize directly, or offer a meaningful resolution. In fact, my server never spoke to me directly about the issue after realizing there had been a problem; I learned my meal had been removed from the bill through another member of our party. Mistakes happen in every restaurant, especially on a busy night. What leaves a lasting impression is how those mistakes are handled. Unfortunately, while the food we did receive was good, the customer service fell well short of what I expected.

We have ordered from Thai Chang several times and everytime someone would get the drunken noodles…read moreso we know what the base level of spice should be. Knowing that, here was our experience... One person ordered it and requested a spice level of 1 out of 10 with shrimp and the other requested a spice level of 5 with veg. When we went to pick it up the worker noticed there was a mistake and they mixed up the spice levels so they said they'd remake it and had us wait another 20 minutes. When we took the food home the veg order, with the level of 5 spice, had a table spoon of red pepper flakes dumped on top of it, not even mixed in, as if that's how they fixed their mistake. And a tablespoon of red pepper flakes is not a level 5 spice. It was off the charts inedible spicy. And this is someone who likes spicy and normally puts hot sauce on everything but was being cautious with the 5 because she's pregnant. The level 1 plate tasted like they did nothing to fix it and it was still a 5 which was inedible for that person cause of digestion issues. When we called to complain the lady on the phone tried arguing "this is thai food and is supposed to be spicy". She did not want to accept that they'd made mistakes. We fought until she gave in and said they'd remake it and then we had to drive 30 minutes back to the restaurant to pick up the new order, which she did not have waiting. She refused to start making it until we got there, so another 20 minute wait. While waiting she pulled out a chart and tried showing us what a 1 and 5 are on spice levels. I don't know why, it's something we should have been showing to her. But she was incredibly rude and patronizing. No apology, no discount for having to run back and forth and wait so long. And remember, one of the diners was pregnant. We used to love this place but this mistake and that worker/owner? made us decide never to return. Oh and the portion size is offensively small for what you pay. The plates are getting smaller and the price bigger the longer they sit there. No thank you. Not worth it.

The staff was very nice and seated us promptly, we were sat at a table that was booth on one side and chair on the other but it was an extra tall bar stool type table. Soon as I sat down the sun was right in my eyes. Yes only a small nuisance till the bar tender shut a blind (because the bar folks were effected) but there were so many empty table. Why sit us at this table ? There were plenty of other tables that would not have had this issue. Not sure why the hostess would not know not to use this table for this time of day. Other then that the place was very clean and a normal pub type atmosphere. Nothing super special though. We started off with an appetizer called the "Texas Twinkie" - okay. I read "twinkie" and think some form of cake/bread with a filling. What we got was more of an egg roll. The outside was either a wonton type wrap or a tortilla then filled with brisket, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeño, and BBQ sauce. This was very delicious but definitely misleading in the name and the menu didnt really describe the item, it only give the name and listed the ingredients. I bring this up because we also ordered the traditional pizza.... what we got was more of a flatbread and pretty bland as well. Super basic bread with a lack of flavor marinara sauce and cheese. Also the sauce to cheese ratio was sad. You can tell this because all the cheese on the slice would come right off with 1 bite. We would not order this again based on the price and what was served. I also had the French onion soup. This was pretty well done. Not to salty, no crazy cheeses added. It was well balanced and was worth getting. My partners entree was the barley creek whiskey BBQ sauce on chicken tenders. These were just ok. The sauce seemed more tomatoe based then normal for a BBQ sauce and again just wasn't what one would expect from the name whiskey Bbq sauce. I am sure people do like this place but it wasn't very impressive to us. 3 out 5 stars is a fair rating as service was good for the most part, the place was clean with a decent amount of menu options, but the execution of the food lacked and the menu names are definitely misleading for the items we had ordered.

I've come back while driving through just for that chicken sandwich. Unfortunately we were traveling with it and I asked them to separate all the items for us and they did not. Would have been nice to reconstruct it ourselves and not have a soggy sandwich when we got to our destination. Much better to eat immediately so make sure you do that. I would have to say space is limited and the placement of the furniture makes it hard to dine in. It was very interesting because there were parties smaller than us and they all seemed cramped as well. We sat at the corner table right when you walk in on the left, we all had to sit on the bench because the circular table in the middle of the space blocked us from sitting on the other side of our table.
